Super good service - staff Al-Always ready to help and most of them spoke English. Big room (room 331), great cozy garden and several nice sitting areas. Fantastic breakfast with a nice view. Dinner in the restaurant is also good. Nice bar (but only open a few days). A romantic hotel. Highly recommended.

It may be a boutique hotel but it ain’t a 5-star hotel. Good thing, it is moztly centrally located but still quiet at night. Some of the rooms are apparently from colonial times, at one time also having the Brazilian Consulate there, the other rooms are newer but have vintage look about them. The room is spacious but still room only for 1 suitcase with difficulty and no way you can open another suitcase. There are 2 small chairs and a table in the window but no other furniture for sitting, so you have to lie on the bed. The bathroom is very small with a walk in shower but on some days there was no hot water in the shower. For a “5-star” hotel there is no kettle in the room, there is a coffee maker but you have to pay 20 bolivianos for each capsule, on the first nght we did not have drinking water provided in the room. The maid service is less than satisfactory. They did not vacuum the floors or empty the rubbish bin. The building has 3 floors but there is no lift. The breakfast and dining rooms are on the top floor, so you have to walk up at least 2 floors, not easy at an altitude of 2800 metres. You have to get there very early for breakfast as by 8:00 am not much is left. Apart from cooked eggs, to order, there are no hot dishes. Overall the breakfast is fairly ordinary for a claimed 5 star hotel. We asked for a boxed breakfast, 1 vegetarian and the other no ham. The boxes said Queso but one of the sandwich was ham and cheese, disgusting. On Sunday there is no dinner available at the hotel. There is a well designed courtyard garden with a small fountain with sitting areas, surrounded by the rooms. Quite a peaceful place to sit and chat. Overall it is a boutique but not a 5 star hotel.

This is a really pretty hotel in an old building set around a courtyard full of flowers. Our room and bathroom were very spacious and had heating which was very welcome at night. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a number of hot items cooked to order. The hotel has some quirky areas such as a reading room full of comfy sofas and a spiral staircase to a roof terrace with seating. The hair dryer was one of those which was attached in the bathroom and isn’t very powerful so I asked at reception if they had another. They said they would have to ask the owner. Later they told me that if the owner had one they would bring it to me in the morning. Unfortunately by the time they turned up next day we had been up an hour, showered and had breakfast so it was too late. It just seems odd that in a hotel of this standard they don’t have any spare hairdryers. The hotel is a 5 minute walk down to the main square which is ideal because it means that it is very quiet although I don’t know why but when we were there there were a lot of brass bands practicing from early in the morning to quite late at night. It didn’t disturb us though and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel near the plaza de mayo. Everything about it was great. Only thing is the snack bar specially the water bottles from the room were crazy expensive. it’s not a dealbreaker just don’t indulge from the snack bar in your room. Other than that this place is amazing, view is great specially at nigh. The staff is very attentive and respectful. Very clean system they have going on. Breakfast was exceptional, wish they had a greater variety but it’s free so I can’t complain with that.

This boutique hotel is fabulously located in the heart of Sucre in a colonial mansion. Our room had a lovely view of the interior courtyard and the rooftops of Sucre beyond. The room itself was tastefully styled with local, artworks, decorated bedsteads and colourful tapestries. A nice breakfast room on (I think) the sixth floor which had fabulous views over Sucre. The hotel team were very friendly and always helpful. A lovely place to stay in a lovely town.

Lovely hotel
Wonderful, exclusive and cozy hotel. Just avoid the rooms towards the street if you can, because it gets quite noisy at some hours — and during that time you get more exhaust than fresh air if you open the windows.

The garden is beautiful, and breakfast excellent.

Pros: Great location, all the main attractions are about a 10-15 minute walk Delicious and extensive breakfast with some Bolivian specialties (don't miss the purple corn drink and view from the dining room) Very comfortable bed WiFi worked well Cons: The breakfast hours are bit confusing, the front desk and sign on the door says 7:30 am but the doors are open much earlier with guests done by start time. We had a early start for day trip so we requested early breakfast; we were provided with a basic breakfast in our room the night before. We appreciated the breakfast in room but the seated breakfast was far superior.

Lovely, hotel with lush gardens and relaxing, inviting areas scattered about the property to just sit and enjoy the quiet and calm of the hotel. Large, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and the location is perfect for a short walk of a few blocks to all attractions. Some of the finest dining establishments that we experienced on our multi-city tour of Bolivia are a 5-10 minute walk away.

Best choice in Sucre
Loved the location and everyone at the hotel eas very helpful. Fast checkin and out.
The restaurant is small and could do with a few more choices. Breakfast is good.

The Mi Puebla Samary is a beautiful boutique hotel in the Centro Historico of Sucre. The hotel surrounds a gorgeous garden and there is great attention to detail in the interiors. My room was very comfortable and practical and the staff were attentive and polite. Next time I will stay longer.
