Very cosy small hotel, everything you need and a small private pool with thermal water, the restaurant is very good, it is not 5*, but price vs. value is unbeatable

They serve the traditional Bulgarian meals with all the standard things you can expect. The staple here seems to be the pork knuckle in a black pepper sauce, which is truly great and quite big

This review is for the restaurant only and not for the hotel. We only visited the restaurant. It is situated in a nice huge back yard

There is no swimming pool at the hotel, but the Strelcha mineral pool is close to the hotel. On my next visit to this city, I would definitely look for a quieter place

The hotel is located in the town centre. All the local amenities are within easy reach. I visited a friend who was staying there. The bar area is really nice with outside seating area as well

The prices are slightly above the average for the town but still very reasonable. Choice of drinks and beverage was good as well

You can hear the clatter of utensils, conversations. One evening there was a wedding. I also have remarks about the bathroom. The location of the shower is not good and the shower curtain keeps sticking to your back

In the morning, you can hear the sweepers cleaning, the passing cars, a bus that comes to load the restaurant to the hotel. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel and additional noise comes from there

The mattresses are really firm but I prefer to sleep on firm so this is not a problem for me. Breakfast is normal for this type of hotel

Food is ok, the service - not so much. It's clean, but some of the beds are old and creaking. The pool is small, with awful acoustics, but the water is nice. Generally, the place is ok for its price.

Excellent pools (one swimming, one for leisure), jacuzzi, tennis courts. Appartements are decent, no kitchen s though. Decently quiet. Breakfast is good.

Quite noisy in the rooms because it’s next to the main square of the town. Some of the saunas weren’t working at all or were not hot enough. Pool is relatively small and far from the bar. Definitely not worth the price

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and the room was spacious. We tried the spa centre and the outdoor pool and overall we were very satisfied with both of them.

Breakfast and dinner were OK for the price, nothing exceptional but good enough to be good value. Hotel is right at the center of the town with super nice park with fountains behind and main town plaza in front

With a few minor issues this hotel can easily be recommended with his pools and SPA facilities. One minor issue is that the mineral water in the pools should be way warmer then it is.

Very good experience, rooms and lobby area have been fully renovated in 2024 and is now much much better than before. Nice beds, bathrooms, TV (and its software/media)

It's ok ,good indoor swimming pool and a sauna and steam room. Locks on rooms are terrible to open or lock. After asking how late breakfast is answer was at 8. Next morning go there and suddenly it was 8

Location, a bit away from the town, but beautiful nature and the facilities were great. Very enjoyable to swim in the pool while outside is not so hot.

Amazing guest house with a beautiful view and communal areas. The host is very friendly and friends and I have been visiting this place for 4 years in a row now. It keeps improving and the host is open to any feedback

It was a perfect place to stay for 2 nights (quiet, elevated and an easy walk downto the centre through cobblestone streets). Our rooms had balconies with amazing views. We were able to park in front of the property

The hosts have tried to provide the necessary amenities to their guests. Despite the limited space, a bathroom has been built in each room. It is a pleasure to spend even an evening in this revival house

Best place to rent a room or house, we've tried it regular, internal garden, barbeque, chimney in the big room, chess and backgammon, bibliotek with Bulgarian books

Excellent location and a gorgeous garden. The host was very nice and offered an early check-in.

The heating was on at night in early October which was very good - it gets really cold in the area. It was really easy to get in touch with the hosts. Check-in/check-out was very easy

Guest House Denis is very well situated. The staff was very kind, they helped us find a comfortable parking spot. Breakfast was also very nice. A nice hotel with a beautiful view.

The house was beautifully decorated this Christmas time. The spacious and well appointed room. I asked if breakfast could be served to me at 7am (on a Sunday!) and the landlady gladly accepted with a smile

Efficient, clean, barebones bed and breakfast at a very low price of 30 BGN per night for a single person private room. The heating was very good in winter. The 5 minute walk to village center was ideal

This family hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the center. At the entrance, we can read Hotel Paradise (which is called Rai in Bulgarian). Very warm welcome despite the language gap

Well-renovated hotel, in the woods just above Pirdop with private free parking, inside pool, kids center, sauna, private disco/bar, spacious rooms, good food in the restaurant, nice staff. They have a small park with deer

We didn't try the swimming pool since the water was still cold, but it looked nice from aside. The owners were really helpful as well. There is a path going up in the forest reaching meadows with wild flowers

Perfect for long or short walks. It was so quiet and lovely, you could finally hear your own thoughts. And to the top of all of that - there was Manol, the deer, who greets all visitors in the hotel

Nice, calm environment and cosy rooms. The staff was reduced due to the inactive season, but managed to do well. Generally positive experience, but could have been better.

The rooms were big and furnished as much as needed. There was really fun playground for kids. The food was tasty! Also there was a bbq you can use on your own

4 stars, bacause there is nothing much to do in the area, besides some trails for hiking

Aside from the beautifully made pool, there's no reason to consider this hotel. My room was moldy and cold (no ability to change their heat setting). The pool and steam room were closed early, opened late

The swimming pool is very well organized and the room is ventilated, so humidity doesn't get unbearable as in other hotels with indoors spa, also suitable for little children

The epitome of the typical Bulgarian pseudo luxurious hotel - the devil is in the details: yes, there is the spa with sauna, steam bath and inside pool, but then again the pillows are awful, there are no night lamps (I guess reading in bed is not encouraged) and issues with the light switches, and there is no handle to get safely in and out of the bath tub

Very clean and comfortable. The food was really good. The spa center is small, but nice. The staff is kind and took really good care of us. I am impressed by the level of service, which was more than excellent.

It has a decent size pool, 4 different types of sauna and a really nice outdoor hot-spring - all this was included in our room price, outside of that you could sing in for a few more relaxing activities

My family has stayed here for a second time in the last two years. Here comes a jacuzzi, pool, finish sauna, infrared sauna and some more things. I can recommend this place to all

The weekend we spent there was quite full (almost full parking lot), but I never felt like I had to wait for a given activity or for food or anything at all - the staff was very responsive and helpful

From the outside the hotel does not look like much, but inside everything is freshly renovated and nice

I agree with the previous comments. I would definitely return to Thai hotel. SPA services are great and you have an abundance of options. Saunas are renovated and great. The steam room was not working
