It was perfect. The room was clean and had a nice balcony. I also recommend trying the specialities from the breakfast. Quite tasty 😀

We stayed here while visiting the Shipka Monument. It's a lovely guest house with a large "living room" area and garden. Very peaceful and quiet. Home cooked breakfast can be ordered and prepared for an extra fee.

Beds are not very comfortable and no A/C means it gets hot in the summer, but the hotel itself is very nice. Rooms are well equipped, breakfast (not included in price) was delicious, and the building itself is very nice in a great position. The owner is one of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met, this hotel is incredible value for your money.

The chap who looked after us was great, spoke good English and made sure we had a good time. The food made in the kitchen on site was superb, the breakfasts deserve a special mention!

Situated within of a forest, Edelvais (Edelweiss) is a modern mountain hotel with clean, well-maintained rooms and friendly and helpful staff. It's about 15-20 min walking distance from the Buzludzha monument.

I just had a delightful Sunday lunch! A fresh mountain trout grilled on the barbeque, simple but excellent. And a very nice spot on the balcony, perfect for a hot summer day. Up around 1,400m near the monument, with the cool and shade of the forest.

Absolute gem of a hotel hidden in the forests of the Balcan Mountains. Very friendly staff, well cleaned, well maintained and an excellent restaurant with exquisite desserts. The Buzludzha monument is at walking distance which makes for going there early in the morning/evening when there aren't any other tourists.

I stayed two nights, the hotel is superb, professionally run by dedicated staff, everything was great from check-in to checkout! The hotel has great recent history, the hand carved wooden ceiling display made by the best from woodcarver Tryavna is worthy of the visit alone. Underrated and undiscovered gem, very close to the Buzludja monument (which should give a clue to the hotel's credentials), there...

We stayed here to visit Buzludzha. Great location to do so. Staff are very kind, breakfast was great, and room was comfortable. Can't ask for much more!

Well sorted hotel. Beautiful view and tidy rooms. The two pet turtles are a joy to watch in the morning with coffee.

Lovely couple running a family run business. They couldn't do enough for us. We had a lovely room and balcony just outside our room.. We stayed 2 nights and only intended staying for 1. Homemade food and the best omelette I have tasted for sometime for our breakfast..!!

Our stay was perfect! The hosts are very positive,and hospitable,always ready to help you. Very clean and cozy room with perfect view. If you are lucky,you will get to hear live music performed by the owners on dinner time. I recommend this place!

Really friendly venue with the most welcoming couple. A wealth of local information and jokes 😊 It has some lovely little touches; like a small pool to relax when you get in during summer; sauna to warn up in winter; and a stunning view from the shared terrace for sun downers.

Amazing place in a beautiful location! The husband and wife who own it are the most hospitable people I've ever encountered! If you have a problem they take it to heart and make sure you have the best experience possible! Bonus! The food is fricken delicious!

One of the best foods I eaten in Bulgaria. We were so surprised that the food was so good in a small town like Shipka, that we came twice! The service was fast and super friendly and the prizes are very good value for money. The chicken wings were delicious as well as the chicken burger or the chicken tenders. There is also some bulgarian dishes, like casseroles. Deserts are delicious, homemade! Draft...

We are here for 2 days for the Rose festival. We booked in advance for the room. I higly recomend to stay here. The room is clean, no smell, everything is in order. The receptionist Dany, beautiful girl, very fluent in English. Although Kazalnak is 11 km away, I recommend the place for it's quietness. Places to see nearby, walikg distance: tracian tombs museum 6 leva/person and Shipka Monastery, open...

The hotel rating and room price are adequate. Old but good and cheap. Excellent food. Good for big groups. Various indoor amusements.

I liked the place. It is different than all the other hotels I'be visited. A bit more communication with customers won't hurt. Didn't know when and where the breakfast will be, so I missed it :) Definitely I don't mind to visit it again!

The rooms are clean and nice. The food is amazing the best pizza we have had in bulgaria since we have been coming here which is for over 10 years. Better than pizza hut.

Suitable for 1 night. We paid BGN 65 for a room with 3 beds almost next to each other, as the toilet door could not be closed and there was only one socket for the whole room.

For unpretentious cases, the hotel is worth it.

For 55 levs (27.5 euros) you can get a clean snow-white bed and clean towels. Everything else pulls at 30 levs (15 euros). The only and big minus is the expired shampoo. My rating is 4 with a big minus. There is a possibility, pay 5-10 lion and get a much better room.

We stayed with my girl and the kiddo for a night at the hotel and we were very delighted from the person who met us at the property as he greeted us warmly, offered us earlier breakfast as we had to check out before 8am when the breakfast starts. The hotel has its restaurant serving variety of local dishes at decent price + very delicious whatever we ordered for dinner, and 10% off if you are guest...

Great location! New and clear rooms. Flavorful menu in the restaurant next door that give you 10% discount as a hotel guests. The staff was very friendly as well. Definitely recommend.

This is one of our favourite places to eat in the Rose Valley. The food quality is always high and the prices are reasonable too. Today's lunch was a rustic-style liver and onions with cheesy bread.

It is easy to find this Hotel. It is good for Traveler by bicycle. I stayed here 40 Liv. I like smal town. This town is good for me.

Off centre hotel, small family establishment, rooms are large enough, furniture is old and worn out, no mini bar, and no toiletries, cleaning is carried out once in two days.

Somewhat good hotel, spacious rooms but not enough electrical sockets. You can't charge a phone or plug in a lamp near the bed. Great location though!

An old place, but it's renovated and is kept clean. Too expensive for what it has to offer, but otherwise good and comfortable, rooms are with decent size. I had to kill some spiders first and the blankets and bedsheets didn't match in size
