Great stay! Manager was friendly, room was very clean. Bathtub was the best I've ever seen in a hotel, hands down. Good selection of cable TV channels, comfortable bed, and a walking path nearby where we saw beavers. 3 minute drive from a tim hortons and gas station. Would 100% stay again.

We had a great experience staying here. The room and bathroom were spotless. The water in the shower was hot and had excellent pressure. Lots of towels and cloths were provided. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were so good, we didnt even use our own pillows. The wifi signal was great as well. Cable TV was provided, no Smart TV so if you want to use streaming apps, you need to bring something.

The service was exceptional! The room was larger than anticipated. The owners were friendly and provided us with a recommended location in the city.

My experience was quite unpleasant. Room smelt moldy and damp around area behind little drawer by the head of the bed and bed lining was stained. In addition, the front office had a strong unpleasant smell. It might be a good idea to air out that space and deodorise in addition.

The property is under some renovations which is great. The staff were very nice and accommodating. It was a great stay for an overnight on our way home. Would definitely stay again!

We booked at the village Inn on our way through from Montreal towards thunder Bay. It was cleaned and comfortable and an added bonus was that it's on the old Highway 17 so getting back on our way towards thunder Bay was a little bit quicker than it would have been if we backtrack through Sudbury. The owners of the village Inn are not in their office from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. But the instructions were clear and they checked in with us in the morning. We are traveling with two dogs and although they are welcome, there was a $15 per dog surcharge which is understandable I guess. If some extra cleaning has to be done for some people's pets. Overall, it was a good place to be and just around the corner from a Tim Hortons and a pizza hut

After staying there for a week and paying up until June 9th the manager for no apparent reason approached me and asked me not to look into people's windows. I was taken back and offended by this as I would never do that was just getting some fresh air. I said I should be able to do this and wanted an apology. He wouldn't apologize for this accusation and told me I didn't own the place. I called my spouse to come and get me immediately and she got me a refund. She was going to contact the better business bureau if he didn't refund me against their policy as he made the circumstances very uncomfortable for me. I'll never go back.
