Motel Tremblant in Mont Tremblant

Let me start with our check-in experience. The couple running this motel clearly lack an understanding of basic hospitality and guest care.

Upon arrival, our group noticed that there were no mattress protectors on the beds, which immediately raised concerns. We decided to strip the beds to inspect them. One member of our group is a licensed health inspector, and during the inspection we discovered small black spotting along the mattress seams along with yellowish/tan residue, which are consistent with early signs of a mild bed bug infestation.

When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, the staff member acknowledged that there had been a bed bug infestation in the past (approximately 3–6 years ago). Shortly after, the owner came out and attempted to dismiss the concerns entirely, contradicting what we had just been told. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he tried to compare the stains on the mattress to dirt in a fireplace, suggesting that “things just get dirty.”

At this point, we expressed how uncomfortable and unsafe we felt staying in the room. Despite the circumstances and the evidence presented, the owner refused to provide any refund and became dismissive of our concerns.

To make matters worse, the mattress in Room 17 also had visible cigarette burn marks, which further reflects the lack of care for the condition of the rooms.

The way this situation was handled showed a complete lack of accountability and concern for guest experience or sanitation standards. Instead of addressing the issue respectfully, the owners were dismissive and belittling.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this property if you value cleanliness, professionalism, and basic customer respect.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Dirty room (spiders, hair in bath, not so clean sheets) and snow shoveling at 11:15pm just in front of our room (they knew I had 2 kids with me).

Hotel was not what the picture displayed. Needed to call someone to check us in. requested a refund. Very bad amenities. Could not stay here

AC not good , room is steaming hot when tubb is on. Old AC. Tv is old, poor connections
