Hyatt Regency Fuzhou Cangshan in Fuzhou

Stayed as a Hyatt Globalist and was very impressed. The Hyatt Regency Fuzhou is newer and more peaceful than the Westin, with a beautiful courtyard and relaxing vibe. I was upgraded to a river-view suite even at full occupancy. Special thanks to Quentina at the front desk — she seamlessly handled check-in in both English and Chinese, personally showed us around, and made sure our stay was perfect. Excellent service, modern design, and genuine hospitality. Worth the extra distance from downtown.

If you're in Fuzhou, this is the hotel to stay at, especially if you have a car. It's not too far from the city center, but having a car definitely makes it more convenient. We got a room with a first-line river view during the Chinese New Year holiday for just over 500 RMB, and it was surprisingly good! The lobby is grand, and the restaurant downstairs has authentic local flavors. They also offer afternoon tea, a gym, a spa, and even intangible cultural heritage craft activities on the 21st floor! It's perfect for families with kids; the rooms are spacious, and they can even combine two single beds into one large one, which is a blessing for families with two children. Of course, for two people, a king-size bed is ideal. The front desk team leader was excellent – very clear-headed and provided great service; we didn't have to explain ourselves too much. The room had a bathtub, a separate shower, a walk-in closet, and an independent toilet. My only minor complaints were that the toilet didn't have a heated bidet seat (a bit chilly in winter!) and the pillows were too soft and lacked support. There are charging stations in the downstairs parking lot.

The room was clean, and the customer service was very warm and attentive. The environment was great. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou. The river view room offered a nice view of the river, though it was rainy during my entire stay.

We were lucky enough to see the lion dance on the morning of Chinese New Year's Day, which was truly spectacular for us out-of-town visitors. The room was decent, and the hotel is relatively new and clean.

Service: I'd like to talk about the service. On the morning of Chinese New Year's Day, there was a traditional fan-making workshop, which my two daughters really enjoyed, so we signed them up. It turned out my two girls were the only ones who participated in this experience class. The staff member who was running it just handed them the materials and didn't pay any attention to them while they were trying to glue things. It seemed like she was very reluctant to be there. Later, we went in to check on them, and my younger daughter couldn't get the glue out. I had to help her open the cap, and the staff member, who had glue in her hand, neither lent it to my daughter nor offered to help, nor did she even try to find a working glue stick. When we suggested she switch the glue or let my daughter use hers, she just sat there blankly with no reaction. Honestly, the hotel organizes these Chinese New Year children's activities to enhance guest experience and build its image as a family-friendly hotel. If you don't want to do it, you don't have to! This staff member was so unwilling to run the activity; they could have easily assigned someone who actually enjoys interacting with children. Therefore, I am extremely dissatisfied with this young lady's service attitude.

Finding such a high-value hotel during the Chinese New Year period felt like hitting the jackpot! The room features a minimalist New Chinese style, and with the warm lighting, it really gave off a cozy, 'coming home' vibe. The cleanliness was exceptional; even the corners were spotless. The service was incredibly attentive too; a big thank you to Tina at the front desk for her butler-style service – it was truly heartwarming! As a temporary stay during CNY, it was comfortable, clean, and affordable – truly the king of value for money. Definitely five stars!

The room was quite spacious, and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet in the morning was incredibly rich and varied.

I have great memories of the Hyatt hotel! Incredible service and great customer care. They prepared some fruit for me also upgraded my room. Definitely recommend Chad he has very great job for hosting so kind people in the hotel! I pretty sure I will come back again!

This hotel is located by the Wulong River, and you can even see the river from the bathroom in the river-view rooms. The room windows can also be opened a crack. Deng Hongyao at the front desk was very responsible, patient, and thorough, and she responded promptly to all requests. Thank you for your service during our stay. We accidentally left a ring in the room when checking out, and it was quickly found and sent back to us. Thank you very much!

Lynn at the front desk of Hyatt Regency Fuzhou truly sets a five-star standard for service! The receptionist was immaculately dressed, genuinely friendly, and handled both check-in and check-out with impressive efficiency, meaning I never had to wait long. She proactively asked about my needs, thoughtfully upgraded me to a high-floor river view room, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and local transportation. Her communication was gentle, her responses swift, and her professionalism shone through in every detail, making me feel incredibly welcome and at home. This kind and thoughtful service added a wonderful warmth to my trip to Fuzhou, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

The room was spacious and had a bathtub, with a completely separate toilet and shower. The location was also very convenient. However, the hotel is a bit old, and the hairdryer socket was a bit loose. Overall, it's great value for money and I'd recommend it for a trip.
