The hotel has an older 5-star renovation but is very clean. Staff helped with luggage upon arrival. There's an electric vehicle parking area in front of the hotel, which is super convenient for independent travelers during holidays.

This hotel has a very cultured vibe. I stayed for two nights and it really felt like a home away from home. The room had a bathtub, the bedding was comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly.

Shangri-La is an older, established hotel in Guilin. While some of the facilities show their age, the environment is still very good, and the staff service is also decent. However, I was quite surprised that a five-star hotel didn't even provide a disposable bathtub liner. A staff member came to clean the tub, but I ended up buying a liner myself via delivery. I really hope they don't skimp on these...

Whether I'm visiting or just passing through Guilin, I always choose the Shangri-La Hotel. The overall environment and facilities are very comfortable, the service is excellent, and the rooms are clean. They have my favorite rice noodles for breakfast. I'll definitely come back next time.

This is a hotel I'd definitely choose again. The staff are highly professional, and you can really feel their strong company culture. The location is superb – you can walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and Duxiu Peak. The hotel breakfast is excellent and well-managed, with a comfortable dining environment.

Don't be misled by the word "classic." The Sheraton Guilin is far from being a mediocre hotel resting on its laurels. Instead, it's a powerhouse that crushes many trendy new establishments with its solid strengths. It's close to the city center with a pedestrian street and several attractions nearby. A really excellent hotel! The room was very spacious with a smart layout, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, especially the Guilin-style oil tea.
