The hotel's exterior is beautiful, and the interior boasts classic European decor. While not brand new, it's very clean. It's located right on the Taohua River, and quite close to all the attractions in the city.

The rooms and conference rooms are decorated in a completely European style. Breakfast was quite good, especially the rice noodles. It's also very close to many attractions. From behind the room, you can see a continuous range of mountains.

Throughout the hotel, you can see traditional Miao silver ornament paintings adorning the walls, and the lobby is quite grand. There's also a year-round heated swimming pool in the basement. The front desk staff were very attentive during check-in. Highly recommend!

The Grand Mansion needs no further introduction; I've stayed here multiple times. Whenever I come to Guilin, I always choose The Grand Mansion. This time was just a transitional stay. The hotel's location is excellent, it has a fitness trail, and it's very close to the city center.

The hotel is great overall, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The hygiene is good, and the breakfast offers a decent variety. However, when I first entered the room, there was a noticeable odor, and the ventilation wasn't very good.

The hotel has an older 5-star renovation but is very clean. Staff helped with luggage upon arrival. There's an electric vehicle parking area in front of the hotel, which is super convenient for independent travelers during holidays.

This hotel has a very cultured vibe. I stayed for two nights and it really felt like a home away from home. The room had a bathtub, the bedding was comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly.

This is my fourth time visiting Guilin, and I'm so glad I chose Guilin Hotel this time. It's right by榕 Lake, the service is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the bedding is comfortable. It's difficult to give a review when a hotel is in the middle of renovation. But I would like to comment on the service. Even though Guilin is essentially a city focused on tourism the staff exceeded my expectations when it came to efficiency, friendliness, and attitude. The fantastic thing of this hotel is its location. It's a river view hotel. Rooms are spacious but not well maintained. Breakfast was not good, but foods at their restaurant are very good. Specially fish in broth item is marvelous. Walking around this hotel is actually sightseeing. Night market is nearby. Staffs need more professional training and English knowledge.

I stopped by when I visited the lake where the two pagodas, the Moon and the Sun, stand. It's a luxurious but affordable hotel.

We ate here that day. The restaurant was very clean, but the food was rather ordinary.

The external environment, hotel environment, and room environment are all very good. The front desk staff are professional, meticulous, and patient. In particular, Manager Yang at the front desk did an excellent job, actively coordinating and making proper arrangements.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, the rooms and facilities are extremely outdated and there’s black mold in the washrooms. There was also a weird smell in the rooms.

The room was spacious and bright, clean and tidy, and the service attitude was excellent. However, some facilities were a bit dated, the air conditioning was noticeably old (thankfully there was central AC), and the TV was small. That night the hotel was packed, so the TV wasn't working! Luckily, the room was quiet!

The room and breakfast were both good. Since it was Chinese New Year, the special activity vouchers couldn't be used and went to waste. It would have been better if they could have been exchanged for some other usable benefits.
