Smell of mould from the old carpet greets you when you enter the main door. Staff must have had bad time trying to get rid of it. In fact at some other main areas, they tried to use bleach. The hotel is incredibly well located. It is very luxurious, and although a renovation is needed, it offers all kinds of services of a proper 5 star hotel. The staff were also very helpful.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel in Guilin. The service was exceptional—from the front desk to the coffee shop, and even the housekeeping staff, everyone was warm, attentive, and professional. The hotel made my visit to Guilin even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Shangri-la is always a guarantee! The luxury smell in the main corridor and hall, the delicious food at the buffet or the perfectly maintained gardens. Would really recommend this hotel!

After stay 2 night, I decided to extend one more night here. 1)Staff friendly. 2) room very clean. 3) beside 2 bottle mineral water, also provide free 2 soft drinks, tea and coffee. 4) My room is big. Divide sofa room and bed room. 5) location is best for shopping and food. 6) Free self service laundry area as well. Love it.

Location is good, but noisy especially on weekend nights. The room is on 2nd floor facing the main street and you can hear everything happening on the pedestrian street downstairs. There are also dusty spots in the room, and the bed is a bit too soft for my personal liking.

Location: A bit far from main city attractions (Taxi: 25-35RMB one way). However there is a bus station very close. Takes around 1.5hr to reach city center. Room: Very spacious and elegant. Nice view to the main road outside. Had all the amenities. Had a working table and sofa. Room fridge was available which is usually not the case for such budget room hotels. Service: Okayish. Really cool location in the middle of a big park. They're very good about transporting you to and from the front of the park via golf cart whenever you want. Pool and hot spring were both very good. Overall had a great experience.

The hotel is in the Seven Star Park. Staying there saved 55 yuan in ticket fees. You can see monkeys with smooth fur. You can tell at a glance that they are well taken care of by tourists. In Qixing Park, the uncle on duty will pick you up at the hotel entrance. If you come during the daytime on non-holiday days, monkeys will be wandering around the entrance, and you can see monkeys swinging on the window in the room. Great location walking distance to night market , shopping areas, restaurants and sight seeing places . Room is huge but laundry area is a bit quiet in the evening . The top floor is so quiet without the restaurant opened, I need to ask my mum to come along to collect laundry .

This is a lovely property with elegant and well-appointed rooms. Our booking included both Western and Chinese breakfast, laundry service, and electric scooters for exploring the city. The location is a bit outside the main town, which makes it incredibly peaceful. They were also very helpful in planning our excursions for the two days we stayed with them.

This was our second year in a row staying at Secret courtyard hotel and Xiaoming did it again. The stay at his place was perfect. The service and breakfast are excellent, free e-scooters, be sure to take Chinese breakfast and not western as it is very tasty. Will be back again one day. Highly recommend.

We had the pleasant surprise of having the room with a terrace, it was fantastic. It's calm and relaxing, the view is nice. On the other hand, it is a very touristy village and be careful, all the traders are looking to earn a few extra yuan.

I think everything is good. The location is convenient. It’s 10 minutes away from the city center and it’s very quiet. It’s great to live in a tourist area.
