Great lake view, perfect for those keen to do some runs. Close to the Langxi night market (1km easy walk or taxi) and the yumcha on level 60 (58?) also yummy. Price quite reasonable for a 5 Star. Strongly recommended.

This high-rise in the city center boasts excellent facilities and top-notch service. The views are stunning, and the location is convenient with great amenities. The restaurant serves delicious food. The charging stations are very handy, and the room service is superb.

Considering the price and environment, it's pretty good, but: In winter, the top floor is closed, so you can't see the sunrise or have a meal there! What a shame. The hotel breakfast still offers a good variety, with two types of noodles, three kinds of congee, and local specialties like 'suanye' (sour fruits).

Conclusion: I highly recommend avoiding this hotel for both leisure and business trips! The service is exceptionally poor and incredibly rude.

I stayed here on January 17th. It's advertised as a four-star hotel, but basic mini-bar items weren't provided; you had to pay extra, about three times the market price. When I asked the duty manager if mini-bar service could be provided, mentioning it's standard for four- and five-star hotels, the manager was extremely rude and dismissive, stating it wasn't available and wouldn't be provided, without even bothering to communicate or explain. Having stayed in hundreds of four- and five-star hotels, big and small, this is the first time I've encountered such an experience! What's truly outrageous is that people in Nanning are generally very nice, but this hotel is just ridiculously bad!

The room was clean and hygienic. However, parking was a real challenge, with very limited spaces. The service was excellent; we were greeted upon arrival, with the car door opened and our luggage handled – a definite bonus! They even provided complimentary breakfast for my child, which was incredibly thoughtful for a mom with a picky eater. The lake view was superb. It's also very close to Luang Prabang Night Market, just a short stroll away.

I found a hotel on the top-rated list that allowed me to use my points, so I decided to use up my 1000 points. Turns out, that was a mistake. First, the facilities are outdated, but for an older five-star hotel, that's somewhat forgivable. Second, the service attitude was really poor. When I booked, I didn't pay attention, and then I wanted to buy breakfast at the online price, but they said no, it's 88 per person if bought on the spot. They told me I'd have to cancel my online booking and either rebook with breakfast included or just buy breakfast at the hotel. I didn't bother to cancel because it was too much hassle. Their excuse was that their 500-600 RMB rooms were already very cheap, and they'd be losing money on online breakfast prices. Well, then why don't you raise your prices and see what your occupancy rate is? Plus, there was construction next door, making it inconvenient to get in and out. All I can say is, good five-star hotels have learned humility, after all, it's a service industry.

I have tried 3 hotels in Nanning so far, Marriott, Wharton, and Ming Du, at more or less similar price point, and this was the best. The only issue was the construction on the other side of the road, but if you are 30-40th floor, not really an issue. Else great views, room, restaurants, service, all nearly perfect. Great to be so close to the park ( for morning and evening walks ) that offers a 8km pedestrian path around and some nice atmosphere bars/restaurants on the opposite side.

The semi-lake corner room offered stunning lake views on one side, showcasing both city and lake scenery, including the South Lake Bridge. The breakfast was incredibly rich and impressive, and could be redeemed for free.
