My stay at Haikou Marriott was incredibly comfortable. The overall hotel experience was fantastic; the environment and facilities were exactly to my liking, making for a truly relaxing stay. Our butler, Michelle, was super reliable. She proactively asked about our needs before check-in, and communication throughout our stay was seamless. She patiently answered all our questions and even took the initiative to check in on our experience. This kind of thoughtful service was a huge bonus. Overall, I was extremely satisfied!

30.01.2026 Guest

The service at Marriott hotels is exceptional, and this particular Marriott offers an incredibly rich and diverse range of family-friendly activities. It's truly the perfect choice for parents who want to relax while their kids have a blast. Our stay with the kids at the Haikou Marriott Hotel was fantastic, completely exceeding our expectations! The hotel is steeped in beautiful Chinese aesthetics, with vermilion pillars complementing green-tiled eaves, and a charming, well-designed Chinese garden. Inside the guest rooms, Chinese furniture blends seamlessly with Oriental design, making you feel as though you're strolling through an elegant Jiangnan courtyard – the atmosphere is absolutely immersive. Our butler, Tina, was incredibly responsible throughout our stay. From guiding us through check-in and booking kids' activities to answering our inquiries, she was patient, meticulous, and always ready to help – truly thoughtful service. The parent-child activities are abundant; the indoor kids' club and the children's pool with a slide are great fun, and there are also craft sessions and bubble shows. Our kids didn't want to leave! The breakfast buffet is also super generous, featuring Chinese pastries, Hainanese specialty Hou'an rice noodle soup, Western dishes, and fresh fruits. The ingredients are fresh, and the taste is excellent, satisfying both adults and children. It's definitely a top choice for family travel!

Breakfast was nit up to 5 star hotel standards. It was a lot available but quality is very average.

Double Bed was not good, you feel it is used many many times , got back pain by sleeping on

Airconditioning was not good. Complained after checking in but was not really good. Didn't work well, has to open balcony door to get some cold air

Staff all are friendly

Only cleaning ladies rushes when you have " please don't disturb " sign. Shive 2 times a card to ask you to dial recepten when need to clean

A bit disappointed that this Marriott hotel

27.01.2026 Guest

I was truly pleasantly surprised when I brought my family to stay at the Marriott in Haikou this time! The hotel's overall ambiance is elegant and grand, with a spacious and bright lobby that exudes a sense of luxury everywhere. The room's decor is exquisite and comfortable; the bedding is so soft you won't want to get out of bed once you're in it. The sea view is absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sunlight sparkling on the ocean in the morning is incredibly therapeutic. The hotel facilities are also very comprehensive, including a swimming pool, hot springs, a gym, a kids' club, and an executive lounge. It's a bit of a shame that the pool is an outdoor, unheated one, as the weather was a bit chilly during our stay, but having the hot springs was a nice alternative for a relaxing soak. My butler, Eileen, was also incredibly attentive. Since I had booked the rooms separately, Eileen helped me arrange to extend my stay in the same room during check-in. She also thoughtfully introduced us to the hotel's facilities and activities. As we had children with us, she also recommended kids' activities and travel photography services, which the children loved. In particular, the ice cream at the executive lounge was delicious, and my family and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend everyone staying here to try it out!

Haha, as a local from Haikou, I skipped my comfy bed at home just to stay three nights in a row at the Marriott! I have to give a special shoutout to my amazing butler, Michelle. She proactively contacted me the day before check-in to confirm my needs, replied instantly to all my messages, and even thoughtfully helped me arrange a late checkout. Her service was truly exceptional! The front desk staff was super enthusiastic, and the concierge guys were really sweet too. My overall experience was fantastic! My only regret is that I slept so soundly that I missed breakfast all three days and didn't get a chance to explore the public areas. Next time I'm back in Haikou, I definitely have to stay at the Marriott again!

Haikou Marriott Hotel: The perfect choice for both leisure and business travel. The hotel is ideally located next to the West Coast beach and the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. You can walk to enjoy the soft white sands and the romantic blue sea and sky. The guest rooms are designed with a strong tropical flair, and stepping out onto the balcony offers a breathtaking 180° panoramic ocean view. Our butler, Serena, provided exceptionally warm service and even asked if I needed a late check-out – it was fantastic! Every detail showed thoughtful care. I'll definitely be back if I have the chance!

Found a gem of a hotel! The beachfront location is absolutely stunning. Open the balcony door of the room and you're greeted by the deep blue sea. The bedding is soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. There are two swimming pools: a family-friendly area with water slides and a peaceful, relaxing adult-only section. In just a few minutes walk, you can feel the fine sand beneath your feet. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety of options. Our butler, Serena, was incredibly attentive, always ready to help and fulfilling every request during our stay. She truly exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back if we get the chance!

The hotel's location right by the sea is fantastic 🏖️, and it was really convenient to take a taxi to Wuyuanhe Stadium for New Year's Eve. The staff were attentive and responsible, the facilities were excellent, and the hotel's dining options were extensive. Definitely deserves a five-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This older hotel offers incredible value for money. The public areas are filled with lush greenery, and the rooms are decorated in a very cozy style. Waking up to the beautiful sea view from the balcony in the morning truly lifted my spirits. The bedding was incredibly comfortable – I had a perfect night's sleep. The location is also great, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Serena, our butler, provided thoughtful and quick service. Overall, my stay was very pleasant and excellent!
