Hospitable city hotel, overall good with a great location close to downtown attractions.

Stayed in room 1513, a west-facing room, which got a bit sunny in the afternoon. The pool is 18 meters long, 1.2 meters deep on both sides, and 1.4 meters deep in the middle. After a swim, you can enjoy the hot springs, as well as both dry and wet saunas.

The cleanliness of this hotel was quite disappointing. While its age played a part, the housekeeping really let down a loyal Shangri-La fan like myself. Even though the duty manager did their best to appease and resolve the issue, I still feel compelled to leave an honest review, hoping they'll improve their cleanliness in the future. Shangri-La shouldn't let its reputation slide. On a positive note...

The stay was very good. The staff were warm and friendly. Restaurants and shops are conveniently located nearby. Parking was also easy.

The facilities are still quite new, even after many years. The cleanliness is excellent, the environment is good, the service is acceptable, and the breakfast is delicious with a strong local flavor, which really stimulated my appetite.

Visited Hohhot with my family and stayed at Juhua - the experience far exceeded our expectations! As soon as we entered the lobby, a bellhop helped us with our luggage. We had such a comfortable stay at this hotel. The room was always cleaned very thoroughly and we had wide selection of quality pillows along with comfy mattress. The grassland tea was a delight. Very ethnic and charming. The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive. The young lady at the front desk was gentle and welcoming, leaving a wonderful first impression. The breakfast was fantastic, with authentic milk tea and lamb shumai!
