Rooms are very small. The hotel staff is very polite and will keep you with your travel needs and inquiries. The lift is good since it will take you only to the floor where you have your room. There are individual ACs in each room which take a little time to get the room cool. THE hotel is pretty tall and is located near the temple night market. The quality of the beds was okay but the size of the bed was very small. I was having difficulty in lying straight on the bed though I am not that tall. The bathrooms were clean but not that good quality. You can rent the room for one night but beyond that I would not recommend it.

The price-performance ratio was okay. I had trouble finding my hotel room because there was a different hotel name on the door. Many thanks to the helpful security staff. The location was really good. The metro is nearby, and there are many restaurants and small kiosks in the area. The luggage storage service worked very well. Unfortunately, it was a bit noisy in my room because one of the windows was broken and I couldn't close it.

Q. Can the lease be renewed? Said no room, then talked to others on the phone said there is a room 150 a day, but charged me more than 300, we are Hong Kong people, so rude is the first time to see

Facilities are old and the air conditioner is loud

It's OK. After all, in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is valuable, this small hotel has everything. However, compared with Chungking Mansions, the fees are expensive. Chungking Mansions is cheaper.

Clean and sanitary, many places to eat downstairs, small room, old-fashioned air conditioner is very noisy, simple toilet

It can be regarded as an old-fashioned Hong Kong-style room. The room size is about 5 pings. The toilet/walls are not very clean. This is really only suitable for backpackers. The hot water in the room and bathroom is not stable. If you live normally, don't choose this to torture yourself🥹

I stayed at this hotel and I give it an 8/10. The location is great, close to the shoe market. It’s very clean, and the boss is really friendly. I enjoyed my stay!

The bathroom is spacious, the wash basin is large enough, there are adapters, kettles, hair dryers, and chairs in the small lobby outside the room. This room is very cost-effective

I try to make it to Mido every time I’m near YMT. It’s a perfect place to eat local Hong Kong food, with a huge selection to choose from (maybe too much). I usually eat some sort of baked rice and every one I’ve had has been delicious. In addition to the great food, the friendly staff provides some of the best service I’ve ever received from a local cafe like this one. If you’re a tourist and looking for a good place to try some local comfort food, I would look no further!!

Food acceptable. The HK style milk tea is exceptional, according to my wife. I had the coffee/tea mixed. Not bad. The owner/manager is rude, particularly to her staffs.

Great corner Street cafe that overlooks the temple st gardens. Really classical decor, very kind staff, huge, varied menu of great food. Definitely gotta check it out - try to get a window seat upstairs!

Had dinner here while exploring Temple Street. Service was prompt and polite, the beef fillet baked rice I ordered was slightly bland, but otherwise piping hot and fresh. Overall, a pretty pleasant experience in a surrounding that’s a step back in time. Only thing I minded were the stairs. Seating was all on the second floor and those steps were steep.

Not sure why people say this place is dirty... It was very clean upstairs and no, we didn't get food poisoning from our dinner. Food was not something to shout about, but still decent. Our Cow Tongue with Rice and Ee-Fu fried noodles tasted pretty good. Service was also polite. However, I would say come here only if you understand old HK TV drama. Otherwise it's pretty pointless as you won't understand the ambience anyway.
