Excellent hostel, stayed in the double bed ensuite. Clean and well managed. Will be back!

Pros: CHEAP, clean, good location (close to metro), nice management.

Cons: Towels are 20$, there are only two elevators in the building which causes a queue to build up during "rush-hours". Entrance can be a bit sketchy during later hours. Pillows are HARD.

Amiable personnel. I only gathered from the reviews that the staff members are accommodating and helpful. It was raining when I reached the location and had lost my way, but the woman at the reception was exceptionally accommodating.

To be frank, this is not suitable for families, especially children. This hostel is located on the 16th floor and only one lift is available to transport you up and down, which is always filled with people. This implies that if you require something, it can take a long time to get down and return up. Regarding food, there is no facility, hence you have to descend to the market, which can be quite inconvenient. The hostel rooms are neat and tidy, but they are somewhat narrow for children. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to assist.

The room is great and very spacious with complete amenities. It has a hot shower and clean towels. They accommodate all guests 24/7 and they’re very friendly. I appreciate the hospitality and generosity. Take you for the great time! It’s accessible and easy for money exchange. Lots of food choices within the building.

We recently stayed at Delta Lounge /Ashoka in Chungking Mansions, and overall it was a pleasant and convenient experience. The location is unbeatable — everything you need is just a few steps away. There are plenty of food options, shopping areas, and both the train and bus stations are very accessible, which made going around Hong Kong incredibly easy.

For the price, the room is quite decent. The air-conditioning works very well, and both the room and comfort room have good ventilation. The water heater in the bathroom is fully functional, the towels are replaced daily, and the linen and bedding are clean with no odors, which I truly appreciated.

There are just a few small things that could be improved. There’s no wall-mounted clothes rail inside the room, which would have been helpful for hanging used clothes after going outside. Also, like many places in Hong Kong, the toilet doesn’t have a bidet 😅. But on the positive side, there is complimentary drinking water available at the reception, conveniently close to our room.

Overall, Ashoka offers great value for its location, cleanliness, and comfort, and I would still consider staying here again

Staff were very friendly and helpful, even though I was a little confused, which is my problem for being tired really!

Room was small, but that’s what I needed - great for the price and location. It was easy to walk and see the Victoria Harbour lights at 08:00.

I left my suitcase in the room unlocked and it was safe!

Didnt know that the one i book is a room which is for 2 person, they ask me that the room where i check in have a boy already inside. So i insist to let me check in to a room which is a room for same gender like girl to girl. So they ask me about additional and i do it

Well, Hongkong mostly less price hotels having small rooms and that one was more smaller than last one, I need to put my suitcase below the bed, but it has a bestest location, near to sea side, shopping area and plenty of South Asian food.

Literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When we arrived the lady told us someone cancelled my reservation, without being able to provide us with any details. She then proceeded to give us a replacement room from another guesthouse and asked us to pay an extra $200 HKD. I was naive at first thinking she really wanted to help us, then I looked up this place on Google and understood what was going on. This happened to a lot of people and seems to be a scam scheme. The room they gave us is dirty and very small, nothing looking like the photos of the rooms we booked.

Great food, excellent & Super fast service, good ambience, decent music gelling with ambience.. The desert taste & presentation was really impressive!

What particularly impressed me, was that the manager, who saw us viewing the menu, noticing that am Indian, might have a possibility of being vegetarian, and so promptly suggested about the vegetarian options as well.
All in all, I had a great experience & would certainly return.

Service, for the most part, was great. The manager and our server were lovely. The food is a bit average though, unfortunately. The Parma pizza was constructed very oddly so the rocket was all in a pile in the middle under the ham so it was quite soggy and difficult to cut/eat. Seemed like a bit too many ingredients for the base. The cannelloni was not really well-seasoned and kind of bland. All you could taste was the wine really.

Pretty average but staff service was good.

Seems like a nice place at first, but then:
You have to wait for seats.
The order takes a while to get to the table. Water is dripping from the ceiling onto you or your plate.
The beef (dish n.1) is plastic like.
The dish n.2 is called spicy but none of us were able to eat it, and the noodles were cold (yes the dish is supposed to be cold, but it was freezing), and they refused to warm it up a little.
So you pay 80$HK for a dish were you can only eat the dumplings (which were good and warm by the way).
Very disappointed by the food, and even more by how the employees reacted (they just laughed at us because we couldn't eat the entire plate).

Long waiting time during lunch. When I go inside the smell like a stink bomb here, noodles taste is worse than 5 years ago as well as the service, a bit disappointed ?

The tomato soup based udon was not rich, but still ok. I would prefer going to some other udon places to get the tomato soup based udon. The beef appetizer is pretty good on the other hand. Love their idea of putting a pig head fish cake to the udon to add some cuteness lol

Hot udon is good, but used to be better before. Soup is tasty though a bit oily. Snacks are just of normal standard.
