We booked for 2 nights but loved this superb hotel so much that we stayed an extra night! Fantastic food at breakfast, lunch and dinner with excellent friendly service. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting but sadly falls short of its 5 stars. The building itself is a beautiful restored 18th century palace with traditional white stone and lots of traditional features. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly reception who took details and showed us to our room. There was no welcoming touches such as a welcome drink etc which we have received in other 5 star hotels...

This hotel is a special place to stay. It has 15 rooms which are all different and have an historic feel. The hotel is located in the centre of the village,next to the harbour and everything is within walking distance. The gardens and pool area are beautifully kept and provide a tranquil place to relax. We loved our 11 night stay. It provided a fabulous base from which to explore this beautiful island...

This is the best hotel we’ve stayed in for a long time, simply incredible in every way! The staff are so lovely, can’t do enough for you, their friendliness and efficiency creates a wonderful atmosphere! Fab spot to do nothing in! The area is lovely, very quiet so make sure this is what you want. Only a handful of restaurants in the town but the one in this hotel is very good as are the restaurant staff who are super friendly and helpful. Disappointed that the reception staff misled us on the latest return bus times for the beach. They also charge thru the nose for a late checkout which we decided...
