Plitvice Pension Perisic in Korenica

The location is amazing, owners are very kind and welcoming but... The bill was much higher than we expected. We had booked through internet and we expected to pay 25 € per person per each night, instead we had to pay 34 € per person. The owners told us that we choosed to sleep in 4 rooms instead of 3 rooms, but the owners themselves told us, at our arrival, that we could choose between a room for 4 persons and 2 rooms with 2 beds. It would have been fine, yet the price per person that we had agreed when booking was the same either for the room with 2 beds, either for the 3 beds room and the 4 beds one: moreover the owner herself gave us the choice at our arrival, but she "forgot" to tell us that one of the choices was more expensive. Then, the first night we had dinner there; we asked - after dinner - the price for the dinner and we were told 25 €. Instead we were charged of almost 40 € per person, and the explanation was that we also had drunk wine and some grappa. Yet, grappa was offered to us, like if it was a small gift after dinner and, above all, the average price for a dinner in any other restaurant was incredibly lower than 40 €. Finally, we asked the price for the breakfast, they told us 10 € which is by far higher than any other place around there (between 3 and 5 €). When we were paying the bill we complained about all these things, and owners must have realized that we were pretty unhappy, so they told us that we could have breakfast for free (!) the following morning... Which makes me think that they were aware that prices were too high. In the end I'm quite unhappy, if you agree something then you should respect that agreement. I would severely dissuade anybody from sleeping here and expecially from eating here, there is plenty of cheaper good restaurants close to this place. But if you don't mind spending "as much as you can afford" instead of "what you agreed", then the place is lovely, rooms are clean and (too much) warm and you have also a small gym in the garden, in the open air.
