The staff were friendly, the location was great, and the lake view was fantastic. It was a shame the whirlpool in the sauna was broken. The lack of an elevator made it difficult to carry my luggage down during checkout, but everything else was excellent. Breakfast was also delicious, as they took individual orders.

Close to the Lake. Room is big and comfortable. Transportation is available to the bus station.

It's inconvenient to carry your luggage to the bus stop. Contact your hotel and request a hotel shuttle bus. It's free. Asking at the bus stop information desk may also be possible. Show your Plicavicé admission ticket and they'll stamp a one-day extension. Take advantage of it!

Overall, it's pretty good. It has all the necessary facilities, but they are not very good. The hardware is old, the sauna is small, and the swimming pool is also a small corner. For the buffet, it is recommended to go in as soon as the opening time comes, otherwise the options seem to be much less. The facility is a bit small and old, but there is a free car service at the entrance and stop of Plitvice, and the massage was good. Spa (swimsuit required) and fitness center are available for free use. Plitvice admission ticket can be extended for free on the day of your stay. It was good because it was easy to go when there were no crowds. Breakfast was also satisfactory.

The Hotel In Excelsis is located just outside the town of Novalja, but we really liked it because the coast is a 5-minute walk away and there's plenty of parking. The rooms and pool area are first-class! The spa is incredibly enjoyable, and there are unlimited towels. The breakfast could be more varied, but it's adequate. Unfortunately, we had an insect problem; we had already swatted four mosquitoes...

In excelsis The hotel overall is great, the service was bad. I was double charged, no one came to my room to put new shampoo and conditioner.

One if the many places to Stopover for refreshment while travelling through Korenica. Coffee was good, service was good as well. Quiet busy during the weekend morning hours. it appears to be a meeting place for locals. Restroom was clean, I did not use the hotel facility. Has free parking spaces, and there is a supermarket in the same complex.

The air-conditioning was broken in our room and it was hot, in the middle of summer. Even if we opened the window it was still 25C in the room! They gave us a fan but didn't do much to help in terms of comfort.

Overnight stay from 5am to 12pm. Just a party. In September there were not many visitors, so the nights were quiet and we could enjoy a heavenly stay with a pool on the terrace. The equipment is excellent, for a medium-term stay nothing is missing. The luxury is a private terrace and pool. Only some kind of dryer or system for drying towels from the beach. Beaches are accessible in 5 minutes walk.

Clean except the pool we have to ask 3 times to clean it when we arrive. Call them the morning and ask them directly mke sure everything is alright! Otherwise the eco lodge was clean but not fully furnished make sure also you miss nothing! We enjoyed our stay at the resort. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and of course close to the beach and the clubs. The only negative point would be the price. 2 from our group of 6 people had to sleep on the couch because there are no 6 beds in the villa. Had dinner here and the trout fish is not too bad. Although this is a 4 star hotel, it doesn't feel like one. The rooms are small and dated. Air-conditioning didn't seems to work well in our room. As part of bus tour, we stayed here for 2 nights in cottage 6, room 4. Marvellous place, at a stone s throw from the lakes. Charming wooden houses, warm and friendly staff. Very welcoming. Ideal accommodation for families with a number of activities including a petting farm. Very tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. The only downside, the food was slightly on the expensive side. Room air conditioner (heating nor cooling) is not working at 2 - 5 AM. Only noisy fan could run. Not too cold, but need warm room, Suprisingly, heat source awake up at 5AM . We wish to pay wine fee at restaurant, but only Euro or Croatian cash is accepted. Charge to room account nor credit card is not accepted, strange. Therefore evaluation is two stars.

Stayed there for work for 9/10 nights. The team there are one of the nicest I've met at a hotel, and cant do enough for you. Even the little touches, like knowing exactly which room you are staying in without having to tell them, really adds to the service. Lovely food, clean rooms, amazing aircon, all great. But the staff are definitely the best thing about this hotel.

Spotlessly clean with lovely extra touches such as coffees, teas and biscuits. The host Vlado welcomed us with a home made drink made by his wife and took time to talk to us about the local area and give us tips and suggestions. The friendliest and most welcoming host by far. Very nice cottage style house stay in plitvice mountains, in the heart of the forest. Very hospitable hosts, good location and clean rooms. Price is also reasonable

Clean place but except a bed and shower it doesn't offer you anything else. You can'teven make yourself a coffee, to get something to eat or drink you have to walk at least 10 minutes to the closest coffee bar. The kettle in our room was dirty, probably the previous guest had heated milk in it. A microwave in the main hall and a coffee machine would add a lot of confort to the stay.

We stayed there in June. It was nice stay. Apartment having a garden area full of big rose plants.Owner lady was very helpful, she guided us for the short route to reach to Plitvice National Park. As it was so rainy for whole week she herself said us that her father will drop us to Plitvice National Park in their car. Her father wasn't knowing English but she made him understood in German(Dutch) already...
