A wonderful hotel in the middle of a large park! You can't get a nicer place to stay in Karlovac. The breakfast was great and the view of the river is breathtaking. We would love to come back again!

The hotel is excellent, the staff is polite, the prices are indicated in the office for service and accommodation.

Good breakfast, very large rooms. Good location, near the river in a green area. The city center is only 15 minutes walk. It is possible to rent bicycles at the hotel. The pool is small, but it's there! - stayed here in July 2020

Yugoslavia style old school hotel. Very comfortable for auto travelers, prices are unreasonable high for this level, breakfast is poor.

The entire hotel just needs an update, front desk staff member was pleasant and nice even at one in the morning. Room had a hint of stale cigarettes, but the room and linens were clean, and the breakfast was good. For the price it was what I expected.

I've had only one night stay in this hotel and I'm overall pleased. The rooms were nice and the staff was very helpful and managed to deal with the big wave of tourists (we were a big group). There is wifi - that's all I need really :D

I have stayed in several hotels in Croatia. This hotel is pretty good. The room is big enough and the ceiling is high. The decoration style is a bit outdated, but the hygiene is good and the breakfast is rich.

I was staying in a hotel for one night and I had to leave before 4 o'clock. I asked for a coffee to go, since I am not having breakfast and the receptionist directed me to the gas station. It would be better that the guests could cook their own coffee in the room. Please make that possible. Thank you

This hotel is quite close to the business I work and reasonably close to the city centre. Good restaurants on site and stores, plus a decent Spa in the top floor. Very nice breakfast too..

Very nice hotel, excellent bar with nice and pleasant bartenders. Good place for business meeting, easy to find parking spot, affordable prices for drinks. In the spring and summer period nice small outdoor tables for beverages! Location is excellant for everyone using highway in any directon. This hotel is in the west side of Zagreb..... Good view. Wide clean rooms. Well furnitured.... Good restaurant.... Indoor swimming pool and spa free of charge.... There a congress center with many meetings rooms.. There is 24 hours front disc. With a good English language.... The room service is excellent.... The staff members are very friendly....

Excellent hotel, magnificent conditions and meal, rooms and unexpected SPA at last level of the hotel! The breakfast very diversified, many places for smokers outside of the restaurant, minimum 3 different restaurant saloons (which I discovered and used to stay, but maybe they are more...) and very kind staff, enough reasons to come back and enjoy another time! Nice hotel in town. Very clean with 2 elevators and a few restaurants. Helpful and polite staff. Very comfortable room with many facilities. Good toiletries set. Time-limit free wifi of about 2 hrs per log-in. The plug points a little far from bed.

Awesome Hotel near the airport, extremely lovely staff, very good breakfast spread. Mr. Davor at the reception helped us a lot to navigate Zagreb. Bus no. 268 right outside the hotel takes one to the city centre... Overall great place to.stay if you need to stay near the airport for further flights. ?

Nice clean modern hotel. The room was nice, the hidden TV was cool. I was very disappointed the daily chocolate hour wasn’t available. And the room had a concrete ceiling which was odd

Hostel is very clean. Receptionist are very kind and helpful; she can speak english.

It was a very nice room we had, two singles, no AC though or wifi, the other room however had AC and was a double bed and two single beds in the room. Bathroom was really nice and the shower even nicer. We had two sachets of shampoo and two glasses on the top of the sink. Great place to sleep over, I stay here regularly. Usually when I am in Zagreb I am busy and just need a place to sleep and shower. This is affordable and suits me well.

The breakfast was delicious! I was surprised. It's called "Airport" because it's the closest hotel to Zagreb Airport, but it's only about a 15-minute taxi ride away, and when you're driving at night, you start to worry about whether you're really there! In terms of facilities, there's no bathtub, and the shower shampoo is a bit questionable, but the breakfast makes up for it.

It's okay.. it served it's purpose a bathroom, bed to sleep on and shelter. Don't come with high or medium expectations. Room is dated and so are the appliances.... refrigerator doubles as an oven. TV and AC work but are tricky to operate if unfamiliar with the units. I give 3.5 star's because the staff is polite and helpful.

Price is good. Breakfast is so so. Clean enough. The street side rooms impossible to sleep. The noise is unbelievably heigh. Have a nice movie theme. Some staffs are nice. Some are very rude.

It's situated on main street (one of those in one of urban parts of Zagreb) with very good tram connection to go anywhere from there. Rooms are quite old and heating is not good. Food is ok, good, fine. It's not for longer stay, but for day or two or couple of more is fine.

Loved that we could choose between the three but still have them separate enough that they don't interfere one with the other. Good amenities in the hotel, free parking, great food in the restaurant and live music in the bar which over the weekend so we had a full experience. Thoroughly recommend!

Reasonably cheap, clean, rooms are ok. Rooms on 8th floor have balconies and great views. Did not appreciate that frigobars are empty (not even water) and that most channels on TV were not available (no signal). Breakfast is average, but the restaurant room is too small, hence keeping social distance is hard.

We have stay for one night. Room isn't clean wheel and the floor is broken. Breakfast is good and staff is great.

We had a stay for 2 nights in hotel Blue we had a great time and a very good receptionist Ivona Tkalec she did a great job and that is very important.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel! The pool and the gym are both great, the breakfast had a vast selection and was delicious but the best part of this hotel was the excellence service of all staff. Not a single staff member was not exceptional. It is worthy to point out that it may not be optimal to stay here with a baby (which we did) as the hotel has many lights, loud-ish music and smells of strong...

In general a nice hotel with nice rooms and very clean. Breakfast is very good. Rooftop bar is nice. Things that are not good. Cars parked chaotically in front of hotel, outside smoking area right next to entrance, service in general is missing a smile.

We have stayed at the Hotel Zagreb six times and it is LOVELY! No frills, but a superb breakfast, a clean room, friendly people, and a short walk from beautiful Zagreb city centre. What more can you wish for!?!

Hotel looks old from outside, it is... but everything is clean and works. Hotel has WiFi, climatisation and good staff. I can say its enviromental friendly hotel, becouse why change good old things if they works? They dont need new inventory, old looks nice. Its only 2* hotel but breakfast was good. The staff service is excellent but hotel building needs refurbishment. The parking lot is spacious but also needs some improvement. The location of the hotel is great as it is very close to a nice city park with lake and other amenities. Safe, frequent, and reliable connection with city centre of Zagreb by bus, Uber and taxies are also available.

Hotel from 80`s, then the time stopped, but CLEAN, good breakfast, very kindly staff,..and the most important is PRICE-cheap,..near the city center (20min walk),.. or BUS No. 221,222,.. TRAM No. 6, (price 4KN half hour)

It looks like an old Yugoslavian hotel and everything is a little outdated. However, for us this was no problem and the rooms were just fine. Its also easy to reach and you can park your car at the hotel. The city centre is at 20-30 minutes walking distance. Only disappointment was the breakfast, which was a bit limited.

Old hotel but good price for one or two nights.

I have stayed here a years ago. This Hotel had old but decent quality of room. and food was also good. The staffs were very kind. Overall I can recommend this hotel...But You should improve the bathroom, first of all water pressure was so weak. The bathroom looks a bit old also.

Very nice and clean hotel with very pleasant staff. We were able to manage earlier breakfast and organize later dinner in late evening for big group of children. Rooms were clean and well prepared. We had only issue with the temperature on the rooms. It took cca 2-3 hours to hrať up the rooms. Its typical for this winter period, but hotel was able to be prepared.

Very polite staff. About a half hour walk to the centre. Don’t book Room No1 if you’re a non smoker though. It is right next to a small courtyard where people smoke and you will have the horrible smell of cigarettes if coming into your room. When we pointed this out the receptionist kindly moved us.

Hotel was in a quiet location, parking was easy, breakfast was great, the restaurant and rooms was very clean, I am glad we stay in this place. The only negative I can find was the WiFi, poor signal in our room!

They wanted to charge us 50€ for 24 grapes! 1 kilo costs not even 2€ at the supermarket! Not cool! But the rest was fine...

We spent a lot of time in the hotel lobby, and I must say, the service is always on point: quick, and extremely helpful. Special thanks to waitress Dijana for always being smiled and fast, even when we were grumpy from work. Excellent service!

A fairly nice hotel. The list price of the rooms compared to how nice it is was off based. I don't know how it compares to other hotels in Zagreb but my overall rating would be "fine." Nothing great but still an ok place to stay.

Esplanade exceeded all the expectations. The staff was extremely helpful with any question or request we had, but never "obnoxious in your face fake polite". The restaurant Zinfandel's is an absolute must to visit including the G&T from the bar made of Croatian Old Pilot's Gin. Definitely one of my top hotels I have ever stayed at.

Magnificent business hotel in a historical building with high ceilings. Good restaurants (see separate reviews) and room dinner service was also good. Central climate control is a bit hit and miss -- works better on some days than others.

I spent 2 nights at this luxurious hotel and highly recommend it to all. The staff were overly friendly, the room was clean, spacious and offered incredible views of the old buildings and fountains. It's central location was perfect to reach the upper and lower towns on foot. Many great restaurants and bars just a stone's throw away. 10 out of 10 stay!

The stay at the Palace was very good. The stay was good value and was enhanced by the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful. Just note that there is limited parking, 6 bays on the street, so if you arriving via car you need to book. Otherwise you can park in a garage about 150 metres away - no fuss. If you’re staying in Zagreb this is conveniently located, well appointed and has a good breakfast...

Great hotel with history. Heavy interior and royal atmosphere. Great breakfast. You need to reserve parking because is very limited space and you will need to use public parking 5 minutes walking from hotel. Also do not take single room with standard bed because it is quite small.
