Hotel Carlstadt

I've stayed at the Hotel Carlstadt at least four times over the years and have enjoyed every stay. My last stay was in early November of 2022. It's a no-frills hotel with affordable clean rooms and really good breakfast included in the price. The bed was really comfortable. Oh yes, the staff members were great. I'll definitely stay there again upon my next return to Croatia.

Have stayed at Carlstadt on 3 occasions now - twice in the same room 4 years apart and once (this visit) in the adjacent room. Considering it is a 3 star hotel you should not expect luxury however the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and there are facilities like a small TV, an air con and a bar fridge. On this latest visit the fridge was not working and the bathroom sink plug mechanism was missing. It didn't impact our overnight stay but a longer stay would have prompted a swift room change request.
The breakfast on offer is basic, but no extra charge and should save you from hunger.
The location is great. You are in walking distance of most of what Karlovac has to offer: restaurants, Caffe bars, shops, tourist info centre and transport
Staff have always been helpful and friendly with English speakers mostly.
I recommend this place.

The hotel is in the centre. Not very modern but it has comfortable beds , air-conditioning and wifi. That's fine for a night's sray. Breakfast is good. Reasonable price.

Great place. I went there with a group. They we waiting for us with a warm dinner even though we were 3 hours late. Rooms are comfy and the food is really good.
