The building and surrounding are beautiful... It's sad that rooms aren't little more modern and that the service isn't very good (including friendliness of the staff and quality of breakfast)...

The rooms are smaller and not very adapted for accommodation with children.For one night but it was enough. Breakfast was good

This hotel is very romantically situated in the left wing of the beautiful Valtice château. This is also the disadvantage of the hotel! There is no possibility to park your car in front of the hotel to unload your suitcases and there is no elevator inside. The location of the hotel and the interior - all absolutely breathtaking. Great food and great service as well as very friendly staff. I hated the website though and the lack of information. There are beautiful photos but you don't find any information on parking your car or where the hotel entrance actually is. Confusing and disappointing to realize on arrival that the hotel does not have reserved...

Very comfortable place to overnight or even stay for longer. Breakfast buffet is located in amazing wine cellar. Nice patio to enjoy breakfast. Family room big and clean but basic. Staff very nice and attentive. Perfect location for exploring Mikulov.

Now The Hotel Piano, a great place to stay while visiting Mikulov or passing through. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed only 1 night and room was exactly what we wanted. We picked very small room on the ground level (made from cellars or something), space almost just for the table and bed. But it had its magic! Thick walls, arc on the ceiling, like in the castle :) Bathroom was huge though, one could dance there. And with a bathtub. Breakfast was normal. Very good location, close to town center and the castle. The room was ok, but would need some work to be worth five stars. Mainly because some damage was already showing and renovation is probably due soon. Great service and very tasty breakfast.

The space was nice enough. The hotel is well located, we walked to the castle and went round the town. They were a few restaurants not far from the hotel, we tried out and a take away place not very far either. The breakfast was fantastic, great choice of different foods and drinks.

Nice restaurant with small but varied menu. Excellent range of wine as you would expect. Small courtyard, great for dining on those warm summer nights. Good service too.

We visited the restaurantonly, we stop here for food every time we are in Mikulov. Food is very delicious, staff professional and the place has its atmosphere. The inside yard is very peaceful. Nice place to eat.

Wonderful rooms, though due to there being no ceiling lights it can get a bit dark after sunset (at least in ours). Our room also had a gorgeous fireplace that actually made me a bit sad that it wasn't winter! Nice hotel! Rooms are clean, comfortable and nice size. The sound isolation is not the best for the other rooms and toilet is a bit small! Breakfast is good and with some nice choices! The parking is not for free, but is very useful and with security!

The place of residence of Poles who go to Austria, and maybe more. As we were traveling during the holidays, you probably slept the Poles. Inexpensive, you can sleep like someone who has a sound sleep. Our room to be slightly dim, all the cases from the main corridor and from next room. Bathroom facilities are shared. Great price to comfort ratio, just marginal things about the older bathrooms and missing lock on toilet. Overall a great satisfaction, because of above average privacy in this price category of accomodation.
