Toya Hotel in Abu Simbel

Fantastic hotel. Amazing location, great food, friendly staff and lovely rooms. We loved Abu Simbel and plan to revisit. When we do we will stay at Tuya Hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel one night while visiting Abu Simbel with Djed Egypt Travels. The hotel is very close to the Abu Simbel temples making it the perfect location for visiting the temples. The Nubian style rooms were large and clean with comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and adequate outlets for charging phones, etc. The rooms and hotel had domed ceilings typical of the Nubian style. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and breakfast staff prepared a breakfast for my husband to eat in the room. When we arrived at the hotel, we ordered a snack and were brought a delicious baba ghanoush with pita. It was the best baba ghanoush I've ever eaten. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're staying in Abu Simbel.

The best in Abu Simbel, the location is excellent, steps away from the great temple of Ramses II. There are also free bicycles in the hotel. Very good food. Also, the cafeteria has all kinds of juices and shisha .the hotel staff are respectful friendly and helpful

what a great hotel it is!!Warm reception from the staff on arrival, welcome drinks, cozy decent rooms, comfortable bed & fluffy pillows, great food at the restaurant and ready packed breakfast at 5-30 and a lot!!!made feel us at home. The location was great. The room was very clean with great decorations. Also there was free WI-FI in the hotel premises and in the rooms. Excellent staff and they were helpful in nature. We will definitely stay here again!!

Superb location and very clean, and comfortable hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming doing their best to ensure that we had a wonderful experience visiting the temples at Abu Simbel. We stayed in the Ptahotep room which is huge and has the most amazing bathroom! Two large comfortable beds that were warm and cosy providing a great nights sleep. Yes, the call to prayer will probably wake you up but this helps to get you to the temples in time for the sunrise and before the hordes of tourists arrive. We ate a delicious inexpensive dinner and enjoyed cold beers after our Sound and Light show. Breakfast had lots of different things to eat from, eggs, bread, yoghurt, fruit cheese etc. my only complaint was that it took ages for our coffee to arrive but only a very minor problem. You are literally less than 10 minutes easy walk to the ticket office and entrance. I would happily recommend the hotel to friends and family knowing that this is probably the best hotel in town.

This was an unusual hotel but very pleasant. Service was very good, especially in the dining room. The bright colors and decorations were beautiful. Our room was large as was the bathroom. It was clean and comfortable, especially the beds. We enjoyed our stay here. Because of the devaluation of the Egyptian pound, tipping rates published are very outdated. We tipped the housekeeper 100 Egyptian pounds per day. The food was very good and ample. Everyone went out of their way to give us good service. They were very attentive to my granddaughter. By the way, there's a honky tonky piano in the dining room, give it a go if you play. Very close to the archaeological site.
