Nile river shore 490 m
This was my favorite hotel throughout my entire Egypt trip! Luxor's weather was wonderfully warm, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The sunlight streaming through the sheer curtains was absolutely beautiful. From the balcony, you could see the Nile River right in front, and the breakfast was delicious. If I ever get the chance to visit Luxor again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel.
The rooms are huge, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. The breakfast spread is excellent, and it's quite affordable. Using inDrive for taxis is super convenient for getting around anywhere. If you're not a stickler for details, it's a great hotel. But if you are, then Egypt itself might not be the right fit!
The hotel is located on an island which is not in downtown, close to the airport and a little bit far from famous temples etc., but it is acceptable and quite safe, away from noisy. The facilities are a bit old but still clean. The billboard is not well maintained and can't be used, table tennis and tennis rackets are old, just usable but not enjoyable. The service is good, we arrived in the morning...
I stayed at Jolie Ville with my family and had a very comfortable experience. The staff were child friendly and helpful throughout our brief stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the overall service was efficient and smooth. The facilities were good, and everything worked as expected, making it a reliable choice for our overnight stay. The food was good, offering a decent variety,...
The hotel's location isn't far from Luxor Temple, and the buffet was good. We also enjoyed fishing in the Nile, making it great value for money. However, the overall efficiency of the staff was very low. It took over an hour to check in at the front desk, even though there were only four families ahead of us. Additionally, facilities like the gym and squash courts were practically useless, mostly broken...
Beautiful resort, located on a small island just outside Luxor. We had a family room, which were two interconnect rooms. Good beds, very clean. Huge breakfast buffet. 3 pools, of which one is (slightly) heated. We were there in winter, the unheated pools are too cold to swim then. View of the Nile spectacular. The staff is very friendly. Small things for improvements. Bathrooms slightly outdated and...

Much better than expected! The Nile view is stunning. Breakfast wasn't really suited for Chinese tastes, but the front desk lady was super nice. She even helped our friends, who were staying at another hotel, store their luggage.
This was my favorite hotel! The views were absolutely stunning, and we were incredibly satisfied with every service, from the boatman who picked us up to the moment we checked out. The only minor thing was that the breakfast wasn't quite to our taste, but everything else gets a five-star rating!
The hotel is located on the island, which is accessible by a complimentary hotel boat running every 20 minutes. The views are breathtaking and the overall atmosphere of the island is beautiful. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. However, the rooms are quite dated and not very clean. The bathroom doesn't have separate wet and dry zones, so water splashes everywhere when showering...
Overall, the experience was just okay. We could take the complimentary boat shuttle between the dock and the hotel every day, which was a nice little Nile River cruise. The room facilities were a bit old but clean enough. The pool staff were quite enthusiastic. The only downside was breakfast. Perhaps because it was close to Ramadan, the dining area was overflowing with people. The food selection wasn...
The room decor feels a bit dated, but it was incredibly clean, which made for a great stay! The shuttle boat runs frequently, and there's parking at the dock, making arrivals and departures very convenient. Breakfast and dinner options were fairly standard, but sufficient. Our room, 506, had a balcony facing the east bank of the Nile, which was not sunny and offered a fantastic view. Overall, highly...
The location is super convenient, directly accessible by boat, making it easy to catch both sunrise and sunset. The hotel's facilities are a bit dated, and the service could be a bit warmer. However, the overall environment of the hotel is excellent, and the restaurant is great with delicious food.

The river view room offers a spacious view of the hot air balloons across the river, even though it was foggy that day. We also received a complimentary fruit platter upon check-in, and the front desk staff was very warm and attentive.
The hotel has an excellent location, less than 2km from Luxor Temple. You can see the Valley of the Kings and hot air balloons in the early morning from across the river. The room is spacious and the service is good.
Fantastic hotel! We even got upgraded to a partial river view room. Although it's an older property, it's very well-maintained and right on the Nile. The location is also convenient. I'll definitely book this hotel again when I visit Luxor.
Facilities: Well-equipped. Although the style is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. Environment: Offers views of the Nile. Both the night view and hot air balloons can be seen from the balcony. Upon checking in, we discovered this was the same hotel our delegation stayed at. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic, proactively introducing the...
Quite good, my room can see the hot air balloon but my fd one cannot

Everything was perfect, but the gym was too old, some machines didn’t work
I recommend to put the request to get a new renovation room, it’s will perfectly like the photo. The hotel located in the city center and right next to the Nile, there are KFC close by. I don’t recommend to try the Chinese restaurant in the hotel There actin chinese they don’t know how to do fried rice I guess turn out very bad. But the Italian was so good in my option. Trust me I am the Asian!
The room has a very old-style design and feels a bit dated, but it’s still comfortable. The location is great, just next to the Nile, which gives a nice view. Overall, not bad for the stay.
The room facing the Nile had a fantastic view, but the facilities were extremely old. The air conditioning unit was humming loudly. The service was okay, but very inefficient. There were quite a few Chinese tourists.
Let's start with the positives: The environment is excellent, right by the Nile River. The swimming pool is large, with two sections offering spacious surroundings. It's very close to the city center, just a 1 km carriage ride away. Most rooms seem to offer direct or partial views of the Nile. We initially had a triple room, then switched to a junior suite with two balconies. The staff were very genuine...

Although the hotel is a bit old, the environment is great. You can take a boat on the Nile right outside, which is always convenient. It's also very close to the Old Cataract Hotel.
Amazing location in the middle of the river nile.
Hotel a bit old or outdated. However location was very central and high security. Got to leave rather early for excursion and requested breakfast to go service and was told it not possible. You will have to bring your own bag/box to pack your own breakfast box.
The hotel and service were excellent. We rented 3 rooms while visiting the Aga Khan Mausoleum in Aswan. However, I must say that in Egypt, the porters and waiters are overly pushy and constantly focused on getting tips, which becomes very annoying.”
We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and couldn't be more safe if you had little ones who needed to run around. We had absolutely fantastic massages. The spa is not large, but very nice. There is also a gym, heated pool, very large indoor jacuzzi, saunas in the spa restrooms. My mom and I had a great experience. Our only disappointment was that we ordered a Caesar salad at the bar...
The hotel is located on a small island Elephantine island on the Nile River in the middle of Aswan. The hotel is very nice, modern and safe. There is also a high tower in the area, the service is at a high level and the food is very tasty. Hotel has Beautiful nile view but the facilities are old and out of date, other hotels i stayed in egypt r all provided unlimited bottle of water, but not here. Great thing is the staff at reception very helpful.  Ahemd (if i remember correctly) who is in charge of night shift at reception very welcoming and full of humor. Released our stress from luxor airport to City at mid night  Well done!
The hotel's ambiance is quite nice; if you have time, you can watch the sunrise and sunset over the Nile from the pool. However, the garden view bungalows don't offer much of a view from the window. Breakfast looks plentiful, but it's mostly sauces and cheeses. The service was attentive, but the place is definitely showing its age.
Real Steigenberger! Everything is perfect, services are great, the hotel is very clean and quiet
There aren't many hotel options in Luxor, and this one offers the best value for a five-star hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service and maintenance are excellent. More importantly, this hotel isn't in the bustling city center, but it's not too far either. Anyone who's stayed in downtown areas of other Egyptian cities will know what that means: no honking, no motorcycles, no noise...
The room was quite old and I found it to be pretty average. The facilities weren't great either. Breakfast wasn't included, and we paid an extra 600 EGP per person, which was definitely not worth it. Although there were many options, there wasn't much good food. They had plain congee (Chinese rice porridge) but no side dishes or preserved vegetables. There were also a lot of tour groups, so the overall...

The hotel's overall ambiance is great, and the breakfast spread is exceptionally rich and delicious. It's comfortable and cozy, definitely a worthwhile choice! The transportation is also very convenient. If you're coming to Luxor, I highly recommend staying here! You're guaranteed a good rest.
The staff were incredibly warm and chatty, which was a huge plus. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, and the soundproofing isn't great; the street-facing rooms can be quite noisy, though thankfully, it was clean. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast.
had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Nile Palace in Luxor. The hotel is elegant, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were professional, friendly, and always attentive. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, right on the Nile with beautiful views. The facilities and overall service were excellent. The hotel is a bit run down and the rooms need updating. The plus side of this hotel is the staff do not keep harassing you for tips, unlike the locally owned hotels. The hotel breakfast spread was very good. The strawberry juice was delicious and fresh. We had dinner at the hotel on both nights and the food was good
The hotel is located right by the road, and it seems like a lot of Chinese guests stay here. There's a KFC to the left of the hotel that's cheap and tasty.
The environment is great, and the Nile view is absolutely beautiful! The room is clean and tidy! Waking up early to enjoy breakfast while watching the hot air balloons rise over the Valley of the Kings across the river is indeed a wonderful experience!

Small room with extremely small balcony. (We not booking the cheapest room) Old amenities and essentials. Very disappointed at Luxor Hilton. Not value for money at all. It’s also true that you get to see hot air balloons in the morning. However, the view is not that worth it.
The staff were friendly and helpful! I was astonished by their ability to speak several languages. The hotel/resort itself was very relaxing, particularly after long days of visiting historical sites. Highly recommended.
Perfect environment to live in, great infinity pool with sunrise or sunset, but not convenient to go to town center.
Staff, view, location, services all perfect
nice hotel but the buffet is a bit off
It is a very beautiful resort, and the best in Luxor. Enjoyed the spacious compound and view of the Valley of the King and Nile River from the hotel resort. The staff has been very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I like the spa, thermal area and infinity heated pool, which was the most relaxing experience. Highly recommended stay.

A trip to Abu Simbel isn’t a bargain venture, especially since an overnight stay is really necessary. After scrutinizing all the options, I settled on the Seti and am very happy I did. Our rooms are clean and spacious and have all the amenities that we need in a hotel when we’re traveling. The dining venue was a buffer that was plentiful, tasty, and well presented. See the previous item for a detailed evaluation.
First, the front desk service was chaotic. Despite repeatedly confirming upon check-in that six meals were included in the two rooms, we were told on our first visit that meals were not included for dinner, on our second visit that only one meal was included, and only on our third visit, accompanied by the front desk manager, were we allowed to eat. Second, the restaurant manager and supervisor were...

This is a hotel where you can stay with peace of mind. I was surprised at how strict the security at the entrance was. The hotel staff were also very kind. The room was clean, the view was great, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a very satisfying hotel.
From the moment I arrived at Holiday Inn Maadi, I felt like I was coming home. The entire staff went above and beyond to make my stay special, but I have to give a huge shoutout to Rasha, the incredible manager who truly made my birthday unforgettable! I really enjoyed staying at Iberotel. I spent almost all of my time in Luxor at the hotel. I enjoyed the sunset every day. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the breakfast menu, which lacked variety and was the same every day. But that was compensated for by the beautiful view
Nice location, nice breakfast, nice views, nice amenities, and very nice employees always ready to help. I recommend this hotel 100%
The Nile view is absolutely stunning, and the soundproofing is good. The room is a bit old, but the breakfast is delicious.
The room was decent, and the cleanliness and service were okay. Just don't book cruises through the hotel; they're overpriced and the boat quality is poor.
The river view room really has an unbeatable environment. You can watch the sunrise, sunset, and hot air balloons from the room. The interior design is also beautiful, with a European-style flair. The facilities are a bit old, and the service is just average.
Although it's an older, well-established local hotel with an excellent location, the room facilities are quite dated. The river view is also inconsistent, with some rooms having obstructions. On the positive side, the public garden areas are beautiful, and breakfast times are very accommodating for early risers/busy travelers. Additionally, the dinner buffet offers great value for money.

Nice stay. Good location, people are nice and helpful
The hotel was great. When we checked in, they upgraded us to a large suite. It was too hot, so we didn't explore the city much. It was very pleasant to stay in the hotel, enjoy the Nile River view, and have some tea.
The room was very spacious and the view was great. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and couldn't enjoy it in detail. If I could stay a few more days, it would definitely be one of the most cost-effective options.
We were arranged to stay in a river view suite in a small house across the road from the hotel (in fact, there is no river view on the first floor). The room was relatively damp. We paid the price of a five-star hotel but lived in a county guesthouse with decoration standards. The overall feeling was that the premium was very high and there was no cost-effectiveness.
The hotel is close to the Nile River, the swimming pool in front of the house is very clean, the environment and scenery are first-class, and it is very enjoyable. The room is very large, the bedroom, living room, and bathroom are all large and clean. The hotel yard is large, parking is convenient, and the service staff is very friendly. I booked a three-day chartered boat tour of Abu Simbel Temple...
Excellent room, and very friendly and sincerely caring staff. The Nile view from the balcony is amazing. Monica the Guest relation manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay is at its best. Had a great massage during this stay, as well as well priced food and drinks at the hotel restaurant.
Seeing the low rating, I expected the place to be quite run-down, but it was actually very good. The room wasn't new but it was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a nice view. The restaurant, in particular, was excellent value for money; definitely order à la carte instead of the buffet.
Our room was on the first floor and had some mosquitoes, but the surroundings were beautiful, located on a hillside overlooking the Nile. The facilities were comprehensive, and the front desk service was very warm and welcoming. Watching the sunset here was particularly stunning.
The room facilities are very old, and some are broken. When I reported issues to maintenance, their service was pretty hit-or-miss. They didn't seem to pay much attention to some safety-related problems either. They were quick to respond when I asked for repairs, but either didn't fix them properly or didn't consider them actual problems.
Nice location with a good view. Received a free upgrade at check-in.
Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Egypt, this one wasn't cheap, but the experience was just okay. The photos made it look great, but the hotel itself isn't that big. It's located on a hill next to the Old Cataract, so walking back means a steep climb. Is not a fancy hotel but is perfect, clean and great service. Location is very good, near the Luxor Temple and plenty of taxis at the doorstep. They have a Travel agency which works very good (a bit pricey) and accomodate to your needs providing good service. Nice swimming pool, gym and massage. Breakfast is great, vegetarian options are plenty. First time coming here but I will certainly come back
We stayed at Aracan Eatabe Luxor for two nights during our Egypt round trip and overall everything was okay. It’s a acceptable hotel for a stopover. It could be cleaner. One small downside was our double bed: it felt odd because it was made up of two mattresses with different heights and placed sideways, which wasn’t very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more...
We loved our stay at Aracan Hotel in Luxor. The hotel is in a perfect location, offering beautiful views of the Nile and easy walking access to attractions like Luxor Temple and nearby restaurants. The building may look a bit old, but the rooms are clean, and the staff are very professional. Relaxing at the café in the hotel garden feels especially rewarding after a long, tiring day. Highly recommended
Very friendly staff at a good value for money hotel. It could do with a healthy dose of renovation. Breakfast is good value for money, especially in this neighborhood. Sayed Abrahim at the poolside bar was a wonderful host. A good restaurant (unlike the current one), a (working) coffee machine and a lift that doesn’t scare you to death would be a marvelous addition. Still, would definitely rebook!
Room was clean but the furnitures are very old. Rooms from inside should be renovated . The regulator of ac is broken. Not sufficient lights. For the price it should be a bit better. Bathing area was very small. Service is good , staff is nice and helpful. The front of the hotel and reception area is good and maintained. Location wise the best and in city centre just across corniche.
Great location to major attractions and restaurants. Aly (manager), GiGi, and Badwin took great care of us the entire time. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Food at restaurant out of this world amazing. I had the spicy chicken kebab and ate all of it. I'm a give foodie! The rooms were clean and had a view of the Nile river. Would stay here again. Best view of the Nile, excellent service. Kudos to the staff in particular.
The stretch of the Nile in Aswan is arguably the most beautiful, and the hotel's legendary status goes without saying, having inspired both the novel and film "Death on the Nile." The hotel has a very bright and airy feel overall, perhaps due to the intense sunshine outside; Aswan in September gets sun every day. The hotel itself is a special attraction. Security: Strict security at the entrance....
We stayed in the old building. The view from the window was beautiful, though photos probably look better from the new building. However, if you want to experience the hotel's traditional charm, the old building is definitely better. The hotel restaurant combines North African elegance with Baroque grandeur. A great hotel with excellent service. The balcony offers a lovely view of the Nile. Breakfast had limited variety, and dinner was a decent Western meal, somewhat catering to Chinese tastes. The best part was the mango juice, filled with large chunks of fruit.
After my luggage was lost, the staff at the Old Cataract Hotel went above and beyond to help me find it. On the first night, without my suitcase, they even provided many daily necessities (double sets of t-shirts, socks, spray, and other essentials). I was truly touched. The hotel was clean and not far Karnak and Luxor Temples. They also booked a tour of The Valley Of The Kings for a reasonable price. I would stay there again.
Rooms are fairly good size. Hot water. AC works.luggage storage after chk out.water 15 pounds, coke small 20 pounds EGP. No breakfast. No coffee/ tea.
You can see the Nile room the balcony, if you choose "River side". The location for sightseeing is also good. The building was very old, and equipment was not in good condition, too.
The New Pola Hotel is a good choice, especially if you value cleanliness and a GREAT internet connection. The Nile view is also a big plus. However, the significant noise from the road is a serious drawback. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options.

Also the front desk sister salma very friendly and kind. The room very clean and comfort. The location is strategic . Very recommended to book the hotel package tour at luxor. We're very satisfied
Nice hotel, friendly staff. The rooms were cold; I stayed in December, there was no kettle, and the air conditioning didn't work. However, they brought a warm blanket, and the staff responded very quickly to my requests. That was nice. The Karnak Temple is about a 15-minute walk away.
Friendly front desk people, close to Karnak temple, basic local breakfast, limited wifi, thank you
It was nice to have a supermarket next to the hotel. It was far from the city center, so I had trouble exchanging money, but the hotel did it for me. However, the exchange rate was poor. My flight was early in the morning, so when I told them I would be leaving before breakfast started, they made me a bento for breakfast. The owner was kind. The sunset nearby was beautiful.

Hotel Cleopatra, Luxor West Nank (not to be confused with Hotel Cleopatra in the East!) is run by a lovely Egyptian family. Mahmoud was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble - and the home-made Egyptian food is delicious! There is no lift, so I opted for a first floor room (my son’s on the 3rd floor was larger and quieter); the restaurant is on the roof anyway, so you do have 4 flights of stairs...
It was very quiet and nice. There was a peaceful view outside. I wanted to stay here forever. Both the room and the rooftop were cute.
The guesthouse owner provided excellent service and was very helpful in resolving any issues. Even though I was traveling alone as a woman, I felt very safe and secure there. The rooftop offers panoramic views of the Valley of the Kings. I ate breakfast there every morning, which was quite good and filling (it included flatbread, cheese, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, hummus, fries, fried beans, and black...
What I liked the most it was the kindness of Nasser, the owner of the place and also Mahmood that welcome us very warmly. Mahmood helped us with every excursion we did and cooked for us amazingly, making this experience truly traditional. We felt safe like family, even though we were 3 girls alone. We really found a place that for sure I would like to come back cause we found true friends there. In...
It's a beautiful hotel with beautiful hearts on the west bank of Luxor. It was a 20 min drive from the airport and 15 min drive from Karnak Temple. The view from the rooftop is amazing both morning and night! Great local breakfast too. The room was very clean and basic toiletries were provided.
It is located in the other part of the city, it is not clean, the bed and wardrobe are old, I do not recommend you to expect much, if you are going to sleep and go, it is reasonable.

Most relaxing and comfortable hotel stay in Luxor. Beautiful Egyptian decor design along with wall murals, depicting Egyptian way of life, both ancient and present day. Location was good less than 10 minute walk to the Nile river where you can catch a public ferry to go to the east Bank side. Hotel staff and management were very accommodating, pleasant, helpful, and friendly. Delicious daily breakfast...

What a friendly place. Very quiet, superfriendly staff, Nice swimming pool. Good price quality ratio. We Will be back!
The Hotel is really beautiful, it just too bad that the bedrooms are too small and there is a lot of flies… The breakfast is correct and good ! And they have a pool ! So nice !
It's a fantastic resort with a big area. But they are not professional. The room services are fantastic, but the manager had tried to make some business with us. When we denied it, he stopped talking to us 😢. Dining is nice, especially the last day breakfast was very good.
Loved the hotel, the staff were so helpful and friendly
