Long Island Hotel in Marsa Matruh

As a top local guide with many years of reviewing experience, I strongly advise anyone considering staying at this resort to avoid it at all costs. My experience was shockingly disappointing and unacceptable on multiple levels.

Firstly, the resort was incredibly dirty and poorly maintained. Basic necessities like water supply were unreliable—often completely turned off. When confronted about this issue, the resort management outright lied, dismissing the complaints in an attempt to trick guests into paying for subpar services.

Secondly, their professionalism was virtually nonexistent. Staff repeatedly gave misleading and deceptive information, trying to scam guests by making false promises and claims. When I decided to cancel my reservation within a reasonable timeframe due to these conditions, the resort refused to refund my deposit, effectively stealing my money without justification.

Other visitors have similarly reported significant problems with cleanliness, unprofessional management, and safety hazards like filthy swimming pools causing health issues for children, broken facilities, and falsely advertised accommodations.

This place is not just poorly run—it's actively deceptive. Please spare yourself the trouble and choose somewhere else. This resort is nothing short of a scam.

The video of the flat sent from the owner wasn't true and it was hirable.
They are not honest be careful you have to see it before paying the rental fee.

Not the best place to go to , no activities can be done , boring pool , and the stone beach from one side and the other one very dirty beach , and the smell was very bad like the sewers , the only one good thing may be the sea view (not the one towards the city) .
