The location is perfect — right on Dahab’s walkway, just steps away from the sea. The hotel is on El Fanar Street, next to Ralph’s Bakery, which makes it very convenient.
Overall, my one-week stay was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dahab.
The hotel has a small swimming pool, which was a nice touch, and the front desk staff were always friendly and smiling, which I appreciated. However, there was no iron available in the room — instead, you have to send your clothes to the laundry service and wait a full day to get them back, which was not very practical.
Overall, the hotel has some good points, but there are several areas that need improvement.
No water or even Kleenex provided in the room.
The bathroom stinks of sewage and the mattresses has displaced springs.
Breakfast, no water!!!!! 5 types of eggplant but not much else. The same thing repeated each day. No napkins on the table.
No value for money at all.
RUBBISH WIFI!
Staff are friendly but I shouldn't have to ask for towels and Kleenex in the room (they refused to provide Kleenex because people steal them?).
Good location in the heart of Dahab.
I've stayed at the Sofitel hotel in Abu Dhabi for less.
