Coral Coast Hotel in Dahab

This was one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve had. The first room felt unsafe — the door lock was flimsy and visibly exposed between the frame and the wall. The lighting in both rooms was so dim that even with every bulb on, the space felt gloomy and depressing. The window in the first room directly faced a yoga studio, leaving me with no privacy and no way to let in natural light. I asked to change rooms only because the first was already unacceptable, but unfortunately the second was just as poor — the view was split between the yoga studio and a rooftop full of debris and industrial pipes. I completely understand that room options may have been limited, but that doesn’t excuse the overall lack of basic standards — especially since others in my group, who paid the same rate, were placed in rooms that were noticeably more functional and well-maintained, which made the lack of consistency even more frustrating. The chair in my room was broken, the linen had holes, and the pillowcase had a hair on it — all after the room was supposedly cleaned. They replaced some of those items, and I ended up with a duvet cover that had a torn zipper. The kettle was completely black inside, and the cup was full of black specks — so I walked back to the first room and replaced them myself, since the rooms had no phone to contact reception. The bathroom had a foul, suffocating stench that made it genuinely hard to breathe — I had to keep the door shut the entire stay just to cope, and I later found that several people in my group had also specifically complained about the bathrooms in their rooms. On top of that, the water heater was barely functioning and the showerhead barely released any water, making it difficult to even shower properly. The furniture was old and cracked, and I even found a toenail trapped under the glass of the table, which was absolutely revolting and impossible to ignore. There was no Wi-Fi available in either room, no safe, no hair dryer. It’s hard to overstate how disheartening the stay was — both rooms left me feeling neglected, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointed. You could get far more value for your money elsewhere.

Rooms in horrible shape, especially the bathroom was disgusting. The AC was loud. Bed Linens had stains.. I can't believe I paid 70€ for this.
