Ö Seaside Suites & Spa in Kuressaare

1 | My girlfriend and I spent one night at Hotel Meri in mid-October while visiting Saaremaa. We left the hotel satisfied; the price-to-value ratio of the experience was very good.

2 | What we liked about the hotel was the very good breakfast included in the room rate. Everything was fresh and the selection was very wide. Access to the wellness area with saunas and pools was also included. The hotel is located right on the waterfront with a nice view towards the castle. Parking is free for hotel guests, and towels and a bathrobe were available in the room. The room size was sufficient, and I have to praise the very pleasant lady at the reception.

3 | There weren’t many weak points, and mostly they were details that are easy to fix. The room lacked a kettle and tea/coffee. We arrived in the room late in the evening and were chilled. I had the feeling that hotel management was trying to save on small details. Similarly, the saunas were quite cold. I go to the sauna several times a week and have a point of comparison. Here, all the saunas felt cold, and they also lacked sand timers for measuring time.

4 | Nevertheless, all the advantages outweigh these issues. If I ever find myself on Saaremaa again, I would very likely stay at this hotel once more.

Decent value for money. Spa is new and breakfast was also good. Bathrooms are old and shower cabins are tiny and uncomfortable. Floor without heating as well.

Big negative was no slippers in the room, so had to go with shoes and bathrope to SPA.

I stayed at Meri Hotel during a day trip to the beautiful island of Saaremaa, Estonia. I needed to check in about two hours earlier than usual due to an urgent meeting, and the kind receptionist arranged it immediately, I was in my room within 15 minutes!! The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Although I didn’t get the chance to enjoy the sauna, pool, or other facilities because of my busy schedule, I really appreciated having a drink in their garden overlooking the Tori Abajas. The open-buffet breakfast the next morning was also a highlight. The staff were consistently helpful throughout my stay. I can definitely recommend Meri Hotel to anyone visiting the island.

Wonderful location, an unforgettably view from room window to sea and castle + all that with affordable price! I enjoyed spa and all in all I was satisfied with everything! Thank you!

Nice and quiet spa hotel by the sea. Economy class room is without air conditioning.
The spa has one larger, one smaller, one children's pool and jacuzzi. Each pool has a massage function. The spa has four saunas - salt sauna, juniper sauna, steam sauna and tar sauna. A nice cold flavored water is offered as a drink.
The breakfast is very tasty. There is a selection of different dishes for every taste and need. The staff is very polite and welcoming.
Our visit was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Thank you 🙏🏻
