Where to stay in Otepaa

A wonderful way to spend a cold day. The food was good, the saunas, pools, and steam baths were relaxing, and the calm atmosphere made everything enjoyable. In the evening, we enjoyed a walk around the area under star-filled skies. My sincere thanks to the masseur Ivo, who managed to relieve my back pain and get me feeling well again. We will definitely return. Thank you!

We stayed 2 nights as a family with two toddlers. The room was small and simple, but the good weather meant we spent most time outside. Breakfast had a nice variety, even for picky eaters. The spa is basic but clean, and there are two kids’ playrooms. On the downside, the sofa was very uncomfortable. No air conditioning means open windows in summer — and with that come mosquitoes and constant roof...

Not crowded place. Good option to have not limited swimming pool. Breakfast had good options for kids.

Location is absolutely stunning, but the hotel itself is from the 1960s at best. The "spa" is just a swimming pool and a hottub at the back.

While the rooms are not the newest and have seen better days, our overall experience was great. We got a room upgrade for free (as we were travelling with a 6 year old and there was just this one room free) so instead of s double + extra bed we got a two room family room. Shame the reception closed already at 20:00, otherwise really nice, excellent breakfast

Stayed for two nights in April. Even though we were literally in room nr 1, basically next to the reception, the WiFi was terrible. The bathroom had a weird smell. No outlets near bed. The breakfast was mediocre– small selection, but it seemed like the breakfast hall had never been cleaned, the floor was very dirty under the tables. The ladies at the reception were nice.

Nice place. Rooms okey, remember to ask double bed. Linens was i bit harsh. Clean and nice hotel. I'll recomend

A perfect place to stay with style and comfort! This little boutique hotel is fresh, interior is very well designed. Rooms and breakfast are just excellent. Did not experienced any problems with sound insulation and lady at the reception was very kind :) Highly recommended for short ski break in southern Estonia!

Recently renovated family-run boutique hotel. AC, Netflix in the room. Comfy bed and quiet sleep. Very good breakfast with lot of choises and good coffee. Superb service! Self-service wine fridge in the lobby. Free car parking.

Pros: +Great location (also shop nearby) +Very kind and quick staff (fixed our AC in 20 minutes) +Nice rooms (even if you get one that is not renovated yet) Cons: -Room doors close a bit too harsh and can wake you up at night if you happen to have unconciderate neighbours -Parking can get quite full on big events

I had the most amazing stay. I wanted to switch off from the world and that's exactly what I got! The surroundings are just beautiful. The cabins are amongst the rolling hills. Friendly and cozy guest house next to the main square of Otepää, comfortable bed and quiet. Many thanks to the hospitable family who were willing to accommodate us in the middle of the night when we were forced to leave our previous place of accommodation because of the noise.

A very nice place to eat in the morning and buy it at the right price. And just 200 meters from the bus station. The Tehvandi Stadium is also close by and the lake can be quietly walked by the lake for more than 2 kilometers. The room was also nice, with a small kitchen and a small TV in the room. The shower was only on the corridor common to several rooms.

Everything is very tasty and fresh. A good selection of pastries made from locally produced natural ingredients. Everything is baked here. Also a good selection of meat products, various sausages and cheeses are also locally produced. The staff is kind, smiling and attentive. They speak Estonian, English, understand Russian. Loved this place!

Otepaa, one amazing place in Estonia. The scenery is mind blowing, lots of summer and winter activities are available, a big frisbee golf ground, lakes, hills, filled up with natural beauty. All kind of grocery shops and clothings available on a very short distance.

Visited last year, we are planning this. Clean, tidy pleasant place, has everything you might need. Perhaps there was no Internet, but that's okay, you can connect to any cafe. We were even given a place to store our bicycles (we came to the race). A very positive hostess who speaks decent Russian. A return visit showed that now there is also the Internet. Recommend.
