I have been to this hotel several times and although it is somewhat more expensive than the other central hotels in Kokkola, I always return. Both single and double rooms are comfortable and cozy. Good location in center of Kokkola. Not far from the sea cost. Free parking in the back yard, about 30 parking spaces. Nice rooms with good beds. Very friendly staff in the reception and the restaurant. Breakfast, basic and good. In house restaurant and bar are also nice.

CENTRAL LOCATION, CLOSE TO "NERISTAN", THE CHARMING WOODEN OLD TOWN OF KOKKOLA. A MOST WELCOMING, POLITE AND HELPFUL STAFF, A QUIET AND COMFORTABLE ROOM (SEE THE ATTACHED PICTURE) WITH EXCELLENT BEDS. WE EVEN ENJOYED A TASTY MEAL IN THEIR LIVELY TEXMEX RESTAURANT, DECORATED IN THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT.

I needed a receipt from the hotel stating the VAT for my employer. Staff at the hotel did not even try to understand me. Appalling customer service and hopefully my last stay at this hotel.

Stay cations Was a short stay but really lovely and convenient we loved it and the breakfast absolutely good. We also got a complimentary pink pen thanks to the receptionist.

An absolutely incredible place, like stepping back 100 years in time - except that all the necessary amenities are available. This place has character and atmosphere! The Ykspihlaja hostel is a great place to stay for travelers. The newly renovated port office building has found new life with this place to stay. A nice guesthouse in a rather rugged location. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast was a bit meager and I missed something sweet. Overall, a nice experience though.

It was good to sleep in the shelter of the solid log walls. You could admire the lovely details in the house. The service was great and friendly. The breakfast was adequate. The parking lot is quite small.

Rooms are clean but not new( i dont mind that, cause they are cozy and big enough ) a really fair price for what you get👍 dog friendly, easy parking,super friendly staff. That place deserves to have at least 4 stars in reviews.

Place where you can rest your eyes, good company, good food, upstairs sauna&bed, downstairs pub (quality live music) breakfast with My favourite Tea, always karaoke before going to sleep
