Clean and peaceful with really friendly staff. The location to old historic features in the town is ideal. Room ceilings are very high. The shower in our room could be a bit tight for a really big person. The breakfast is excellent. It's a 6 to 8 minutes walk to the railway station.

Wonderful hotel in downtown kokkola. Extremely friendly front desk staff. Welcome you with a smile everyday. We ate on business from the US and the staff provided us alot of information, including where to eat dinner. Restaurants in kokkola often close without notice. The front desk keeps a list of which Restaurants are open and what hours.
Rooms are comfortable, beds nice, hot showers. Towel warmer. Hotel sauna was great for relaxing at the end of the day. The daily included breakfast is wonderful, so many European options, so fresh, very tasty, good local coffee and juices. Fresh bread. Fruit. Oatmeal with all toppings. Great start to the day. Would stay again

Helped me out every single day and made sure we had everything we needed. Searching online to find information on businesses, churches, laundry, and places to see. She really is amazing and on that alone, I would choose hotel kokkola over other big fancy hotels.

Close to the center/railway station.
My parents used to stay here and it is still like I remembered.
The rooms might look at bit outdated but they are clean, there is a good working shower and the beds are comfortabel. What else do you need?

I needed a receipt from the hotel stating the VAT for my employer. Staff at the hotel did not even try to understand me. Appalling customer service and hopefully my last stay at this hotel.
