Furniture in the rooms are quite dated. Had two shower/bathrooms in my room. Still do not understand why. Breakfest was good and the location is great.
+ Swimming pools and public saunas were good + Food was great + The rooms were clean and big. + Good parking space - Staff were friendly but forgot to charge us 2 times. First time of a beer and second time of our hotel room! Very unprofessional. - The sauna in the room was a waste of money since you could barely fit one person inside. - The hotel looks very old and ugly from the outside.
Great location. Nice hotel, and very clean! Breakfast is good too. The sauna in the room was the smallest one I have ever been at, but it works quite ok.
Easy to arrive with a lot of free parking although parking spots are quite narrow for a big car. Service at reception was very happy and friendly. The room was totally outdated standard with also almost no electricity sockets in any practical places. It was quite spacious and made from too previous single rooms, although strangely there was two small toilet/showers left probably after renovations....
Lovely location close to some decent walks. Food was tasty. Rooms were above satisfactory. Staff very helpful and friendly.
There is two hotels in town, both pretty basic. This has spa available, but you have to walk across bridge for bars. Whichever you prefer...

Good hotel in city centre. Kind and helpful staff, great breakfast. Free parking for a night in front of hotel. Room with lots of space.
Absolutely love it for their lunch offers.
New rooms were quite nice. Except bathroom. After showering it was totally soaked all over. There is nothing to stop water from spreading to bathroom. Also lighting was really confusing to try to use. Sam button did and didn't dobthe same when trying to use lights. Also window blinds (venetian) didn't work. Luckily there was full blinds. Air conditioning was nicely working. Seems there is or coming...
Good stay, everything was fine - breakfast, service. Garage option available - 6 eur per 24 hours.
Great hotel at middle city of Kajaani. Our hotelroom was cozy and we got room with balcony without extra money. You can find all services from same area, good shops, restaurants etc. Great location, very delicious breakfast included to prize of room.

Friendly staff. Tidy room. Great view. Grocery shopping in walking distance. Hiking trail around the lake. Problems: My room doesn't have a fridge, nor kettle. Tiny portable fridge was provided, but it's just too noisy to keep it running overnight. Commercial trucks are allowed to park very close to the building. Extensive idling starting at 0600 below your window isn't quite the best sound to begin...
Nice and easy place. Good breakfast and easy check in. Even at night. I stayed in beautiful single room.
Cozy budget place to stay, tidy rooms, good breakfast and nice staff. Not the most fashionable place though.
This hotel is ok for one night stay close to citycenter. No A/C so it gets hot in the summer. The bathrooms would need renovation asap. Rooms are old and very unconfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff not available 24/7. Still ok for the money we paid.

Excellent choice. Beautiful, quiet surroundings, easy to walk to the city. nice walk by the castle ruins and river. The staff were very friendly and nice, gluten free food available, morning coffee was tasty and the breakfast really good too. Cannot find negative things to say!
Rooms maybe a bit dated, but clean and cozy. We stayed in the guest house and only thing I probably want more from this place is sauna 😁 But for that I would need to pay a bit more for the room. Absolutely big plus for us was the kitchen and washing machine as we stayed for almost 2 weeks for work. WiFi was a bit weak in my room, definitely could be better just placing the router in the corridor and...

Staff is so helpful. Reserved a taxi from airport for me ahead of time as I arrived after reception hours. Looked up bus schedules in the region to help me get to a music festival at Kuhmo. Beautiful, comfortable, authentic Finnish, good breakfast.

The most astonishing spot experienced in Finland. The panorama from the wooden cabin through the glass window in winter is simply breathtaking. The hiking paths around the hill are amazing. The personnel is also very helpful. All in all, highly recommended. One tip: Remember to do some food shopping before arriving, the closest shopping center is ca. 20km away by car.

Kurre cottage was a really high quality and nice place to stay. Everything tape was available. Outside there is a private barbecue and in addition a shared barbecue hut. A quiet place 😊 and the dog was also welcome.
Great place to stay, the trails left the yard. Special thanks to the caring host.
Good neat cottage for four with enough space. The owner, a nice-feeling senior man, talks to the tenants.
The decor is fine in the cottages are spacious and the kitchen is fitted with all the accessories. There is a sauna and a utility room, a terrace with barbecue. Everything you can expect from the cottage is there! I recommend !!

We were not staying at the hotel but nearby, our visit to the restaurant was very pleasant. Dinner was excellent both in quality and service, both the food and wine. Prices were I felt very reasonable. I would recommend dinner and the feel of the hotel, without knowing the prices or having stayed there.

Spacious villa in a quiet location. There is space for even a larger group and a really good space for lubrication of skis in the yard building. No luxury, but just a choice for a group of skiers, hikers or a dog family who enjoy themselves in peace. The stove, or at least its stones, could be renewed.

We spent 2 nice nights at this hotel and the experience was very good. We had a loft room for 4 persons and it was a very nice surprise how spacious it was! Reception personnel was also very helpful and service was friendly. Good breakfast, especially eggs and bacon were perfect. Gym at the hotel is very well equipped and a lot bigger than average hotel gyms.
