I stayed in the AuroraHut at Aurantola for 3 nights. I needed a place to unwind my mind and reconnect with nature. I couldn't have chosen a better place.
The glass igloo is in front of a stunning lake, far aside all the other cottages. So, no noise and distractions other than ducks swimming in front of you and wookpeekers doing their job. At some point you can feel like Monet in front of the Rouen Cathedral, keen to capture every single change in colors and shadows of the scenery. Inside the igloo, every inch is optimazed to the fullest, clean, and cozy. Only one thing, keep in mind that the showers are 8-min walk away, but I guess it comes with the spirit of doing camping.
Aurantola is a family business and you get that as soon as you enter the Manor to check in. You'll be welcomed by joyful kids, a purring tricot cat, and the kind Meliisa. She'll do everything to meet and exceed your expectations.
She suggested me some activities to do, based on my interests, and I did them all. I rowed the free boat parked alongside the hut, booked the sauna and cooled off into the lake, and visited the national park Repovesi. Every bit was special. I usually don't say that but this time I'm making an exception—I'll come back, for sure.

The first time it happened after we arrived was that we called the respa when we wanted to change cottage no. 7 to the one on the beach (a large caravan with its own berth). I told the respa that we don't feel comfortable in the cabin
which is located in the middle of the lawn for all the people to see without any fences or screen protection with a small non-existent terrace, really low to the beach, 100m from the cabin's electric sauna. The wife asked if there is no sauna here, well, it was found on the left side of the kitchen. Respa said that it is not possible to live in a mobile home because of charging the electricity and cleaning, saying that they will return the money if you want. Respa returned the money and we continued our journey after 30 minutes. The expectations were huge, but the gloom hit the eyes when we got there. Did one of the women working at Respa have too much work at that moment because they wanted to resolve the situation by returning the money, which is against the business way of thinking. The cabin was clean and well equipped, but the location of the cabin was not pleasing, nor was the beach. After decades, the dirt road from the main road is still dusty.

Picturesque interior, quiet location. I recommend snorkeling around Rajasaari, great scenery! The hosts are friendly. The sauna is really nice. Loft sleeping area hot.
The place is beautifully located on the shore of a clear lake, and both rooms and cabins are available for accommodation. The beach sauna for rent was a really pleasant experience and so was the breakfast in the main building. We offer canoes and paddle boards, and the scenery is great. The host is also really friendly.

Great place. The cottages on the island are well equipped, each has a sauna, you can make a barbecue as well as go boating on the lake. The space between the houses is so large that the neighbors do not interfere. Remember to bring your bed linen, otherwise you can rent a full set for € 7.
