Good basic room.

Expect the central heating is not turned on, everything is great.

Almost had a heat stroke during night but cold shower saved me. I’m pretty sure the room temp was over 30 degrees as I just stayed in hotel where room temp was 28 and it was livable.
Our room was at ground floor and when we had our window open there were drunken and other people passing by it. It felt like someone could easily come in. Some people peed on the wall by the hotel windows, and their faces were on the level of the windows, easily seeing into the rooms if someone did not have curtains covering the windows.
All in all atleast the room that we had was outright not livable.
During hot summer save your money and pass this hotel.
Otherwise pretty basic, a bit shabby, but the price tells it all so no surprises there. Good staff and good price to quality ratio.

Had wonderful Karelia Pastry for breakfast on our last day. :)
Will be great if there are more varieties for breakfast.

I first thought the reception is kind, hotel is clean, place is nice. However, after staying several nights, I find out that the reception may be cold and not helpful. They ignored me when I needed a help. I hope they can be more kind.

When it´s 23C + outside, the rooms are scorching hot and unlivable. Not suited for housing anyone as they do not offer air conditioning. The fans are so weak, you can´t feel the air moving.

People and pet friendly, close walk to Joensuu tori (open market), restaurants, shopping mall, businesses,
arts, river walk/park. Indoor, secure, warm car parking are, and quality breakfast buffet. Economical, excellent quality, and services.

The room is simple and comfortable, the environment is clean, it is located in the city center, the surrounding is quite lively, there is a supermarket which is very convenient, the scenery outside the window is also very good, and the check-out was delayed.

The hotel service is very good, there are several bicycles that can be used for free, there is free coffee and tea in the lobby after ten in the morning, and pets are allowed.
