Very nice place to stay in Kuopio. Walking distance from center, next to the old harbor. Has good restaurant inside. Very good breakfast. Easy to park also. Best part, in the summer is next to the tennis courts.

Clean room and friendly staff. Just with this price range I was missing the water boiler with tea and coffee in the room.

It is a good hotel with a beautiful view of lake especially during summer time

This place was an extention of the other side (across the road) which had the rooms that we stayed in. This is the place where we visited for our breakfast and it was fabulous. The marmalade and the assorted Jams were worth every piece of toast that I wanted to have.

Quick sunmer holiday in Kuopio Hotel staff was super nice and helpfull on every encounter, they gave us travel tips, small room upgrade and so on. Parking was super easy and pricing reasonable. Breakfast was ample with good balance of sweet and salty foods. There were few quirks though: -to access breakfast space, one has to go to basement, take underground corridor under public road and then resurface...

I really liked this hotel. Don’t let its office-block exterior fool you, this is a great hotel. We had a large (and quiet) room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and the staff were super friendly. The location is about two minutes walk from the train station and maybe five minutes walk from the market square.

The room is very good, clean and hygienic, and the environment is beautiful. This is my second time staying in this hotel. The hotel has parking space and is in the city center. The location is very good. Next time I pass by, I'll stay here again.

Mostly good – great location & friendly staff. The ventilation was very bad though – the aircon didn’t stop the room being very stuffy and smelly. If the window was openable (even by 10 or 20cm) that would make it a lot nicer, and probably wouldn’t let anyone fall out. It would also be much nicer if there was a kettle in the room, to save having to go downstairs to get a cup of coffee

I was in a studio room, that is not located in the main building. When I showed I wish for cleaning the sign was always blown away by the wind and staff did not see it. They should care about it a little bit more.

The receptionist was friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good and quick. The room is good for a short stay. And the sauna was a nice extra to be able to use.

No AC in rooms, a bit dated but over all good experience. Spa access is included for both check in and check out days. Spa access costs 16e but they have a summer lunch combo for 25 that includes the buffet and spa access.

On a great location, though the room was not in the best condition. Stains on bedsheets and towels as well as shower not working properly. Interior felt outdated and a bit rundown. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Breakfast was good. All in all, 3/5.

I stayed there for a business trip and thought it was a good hotel with delicious breakfast that also included lactose free products. The rooms were comfortable and I slept very well. I went there in winter so it was very cold in general. Nevertheless I didn't expect the rooms to be quite cool as well because they are turned down by default. So turn them on in winter after entering for the first time...

Excellent choice for Iisalmi visit or for staycation. Rooms are nice, but some parts such as corridors or sauna in the room might require some freshing. Service level superb, one of the best experiences all time. Nice location in the city center, all local services near by. If you want to prefer private hotels with unique milieu, select this hotel.

Just to set your expectations, this is an old boarding school converted to a hotel. It's that in both good, and bad. The design goes practicality first, which gives you no-frills rooms with dedicated bathrooms and toilets. The rooms themselves are simple, but fine for short term stay for the area. Airchange machine was off, although we asked to switch on it. Poor curtains, no cover for light. Bad quality pillows like in each and every hotel. No shower curtain at all in the bathroom. Standard hotel next to hospital. In My point it lacks bit of usual services. Rooms we quiet, and breakfast was simple and it did the job. Hotel parking is free, and food shops are close distance. Price range is similar in other hotels around Kuopio. Plus from beds and hot shower. Wifi has good radius, but cuts you off line too often. Minus from me because of network issue.

Everything was as promised, clean and functional. The room was a bit cold and the antenna cable or its plug was tripped, so the TV could not be seen well. Reconnecting the cord helped, but it had to be repeated every time it was opened.

The hotel room was like an office from the 90s with old cabinets and other office furniture, so not very cozy. The walls were thin, so the chatter of other customers could be heard throughout the night. However, the customer service was extremely warm and friendly, full marks for that. The breakfast was also good, special mention for the gluten-free products.
