Beautifylly renovated rooms in the old manor! The hotel is located in a lovely place by the Lake Saimaa, where you can also go swimming. Great breakfast. We just loved our stay in this historical place. While our vidit, there was no possibily for dining however. Check for dining in advance.

Modern, spacious rooms. They have many opportunities for activities such as biking, tennis, mini-golf. They have a sauna in the lower level and another down by the lake. Dining is in a restored building which once served as a "place of healing" for wounded soldiers during the last war with the former USSR.

We booked one night for 4 people and received a big "dorm" hostel room with 4 single beds and a sofa. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. They have a lot of showers and toilets + even a washing machine. The common kitchen is big and has everything you might need for cooking. The free coffee was really appreciated. Nice room which seemed recent'ishly renovated. Good air conditioning and light blocking curtains. The only complaint is that you can somewhat disturbingly hear sounds coming from waterpipes or something. These continued over the night. If you're a light sleeper you likely won't sleep much here.

Pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and neat and the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I have seen.

We had a pet room (2 cats). It is nice that sokos hotels remember the pets with a goodie bag but a shame it's always only dogstuff. The room was great, clean, good bed, the big tv with chrome cast was a nice surprise. We enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks (water boiler and hot chocolate powder etc.that was found in the room). Very friendly service all around. Excellent breakfast and enjoyed a tasty room service meal from the downstairs restaurant, too. Our room was one of the more stylish ones with parquet floor. Great bedding and we slept well. Warm recommendation!

Nice clean rooms, with exceptionally good and friendly staff. 24/7 reception is big bonus. Location is good in matter of traveling across Mikkeli, train station is close. Parking spaces are unfortunately very limited. One of the parking halls had awful stence of feces. Other than few minor bugs, it is great stay for great price!

Good hotel in the heart of Mikkeli. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good and reception was effective. Lots of parking places available with reasonable fares. Walking distance to all city services and railway station. I can recommend to everyone who needs to be in the City centre.

New name is Scandic. Clear, nice, well-eqipped hotel with maybe the best location in Mikkeli. Train station 5 mins by foot. Breakfast is rich and tasty, maybe a bit boring when staying for a longer period. Nice sauna and good pool.

Cumulus is a priceworthy hotel chain in Mikkeli City center. Rooms are basic but clean and functional. A steady breakfast is included in the room price. Good for families.

Good, relatively modern, clean and well maintained budget hotel. Pretty handy keyless entrance with code locks. The room had a microwave oven and other handy things for an extended budget stay in the Mikkeli region. The hotel is within walking distance from the downtown and had free parking.

Visulahti park really has the feel of the 90's still going strong and corona propably hit it hard. We had a fun day as a group of three adults and six children in july 2021. Camping area is great, kids loved the lake, however park needs really some additions,and as usual kids love any kind of waterparks.

Personally loved it... best mid range park in terms of area and rides... not too big not too small...some really good rides for children.. Lockers available for 2E and 0.5E which are refundable... The only issue is that it was tough to find vegetarian food especially burger in the only restaurant that was open inside the park during even Summer solstice .. there was nothing else vegetarian available...

A wonderful place for an idyllic holiday meal and drinks. The mansion was beautiful at Christmas time, the food was great. And the snow, lights and decorations, made it even more beautiful.

A really wonderful hotel and restaurant with beautiful surroundings. Gardens, arboretum etc. Service is friendly and relaxed. Pricey but that is understandable. And they even have charging points for ev´s. Rooms have large balconies with peaceful scenery. Lunch is buffet style. (two different lunches, main building and cafe). dinner served to tables. Breakfast is just superb.

Second time here to relax, but take a Villa on the shore. Great view, cool in summer and winter. Well as alone or in the company. To Mikkeli 20 minutes. The hotel restaurant "Finnish" , but to Mikkeli and you can eat or buy and to make yourself dinner. Friendly and warm welcome by Leila and Ari, got also a tip for a perfect evening stroll close by (asked as we were travelling with our dog). Cottage was very clean and the property well kept, all in all a super comfortable stay with out own bit of lake front facing the sunset. Highly recommended!

The cottages are equipped with all amenities and are super comfortable. The private “real Finnish” sauna is a true experience. Having a private sauna with burning wood was just fantastic.
