Reviews
We had a fun day as a group of three adults and six children in july 2021. The waterpark isn't huge but has a lot of activities for such a small area. It was easy to keep track of the kids and afterwards all of them named it the best part of the experience. Although finding a place where to place our mat and stuff was hard and came almost impossible after two hours of opening. So be early or have a very few things with you.
The outside play area has a lot of bouncy castles, a large balance action route, a large play castle, a few long slides, motor cars for kids, a softball shooting arena called dino arcade or some such, and two rides. Especially the smaller kids had a lot of fun here. The above 10 years had less so. We didn't have the time to look in to the inside play areas on the otherside of the camping area other than the wax museum. Which by the way is hard to grasp without a Finnish guide or someone who knows the historical figures of Finland.
The area in total is spread around a very large area and at best is enjoyed as part of camping in the area. Restaurant Kulkuri's (wanderer in Finnish) buffe was awesome and well worth the low price. Even though you have to walk to the other side of the camping area to get there. If we visit again well definitely eat there again as you can just walk in without waiting and the buffe is served until five in the afternoon.
The 90's feel of disrepair and downhill is most apparent in the actual park as most of the cafe's were closed in the middle of the season and people had to wait about 30 min for coffee and 45 min for food in the waterpark grill. Ice cream was also highly over priced at around 5 euro's a piece. Junk and flaking paint didn't bother the kids but the ride that was out of action and the closed down XON-trampoline park were big disappointments for the larger kids.
All in all we recommend visiting with smaller kids and with mixed age groups of up to 10. For 10 and over only the waterpark with a good friend has anything to offer for the whole day.
Lockers available for 2E and 0.5E which are refundable...
The only issue is that it was tough to find vegetarian food especially burger in the only restaurant that was open inside the park during even Summer solstice .. there was nothing else vegetarian available inside the park too... may be the management can check on this...
RECOMMENDED TO PACK FOOD AND GO INSIDE THE PARK (Except in JULY...)
Accommodations are very basic, as you would expect at an RV park, and the buildings are not very well maintained - broken doors, locks that don't work, dirty dishes....
If you're staying here at a BIG discount and you know what to expect, it's fine, but otherwise look elsewhere...
