Value for money Exceeded expectations. Clean and friendly service. Lack of wardrobe in the room was a bit of a bother.

Nice room which seemed recent'ishly renovated. Good air conditioning and light blocking curtains. The only complaint is that you can somewhat disturbingly hear sounds coming from waterpipes or something. These continued over the night. If you're a light sleeper you likely won't sleep much here.

Pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and neat and the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I have seen.

We had a pet room (2 cats). It is nice that sokos hotels remember the pets with a goodie bag but a shame it's always only dogstuff. The room was great, clean, good bed, the big tv with chrome cast was a nice surprise. We enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks (water boiler and hot chocolate powder etc.that was found in the room). Mini fridge was great for own drinks. The only thing we have to complain...

This was the scond time in the historic building of Villa Urhola. We really like the rooms that have the "villa feeling", high ceilings etc. This house is a completely different case than the main building of Kruunupuisto that is a huge rehab center. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the surroundings nice and one can swim in the lake both on the beach and at the nearby ferry pier. ...

The setting was beautiful. From my balcony I looked over lawns and the lake. The grounds are large and have lake access, a pond, a sensory garden and a great little cafe serving waffles. They lead onto a trail which takes you to the lovely art centre and forest museum at Lusto. The layout of the interior shows clearly it was a former hospital, but it's given charm by the old photos, tiny lounges...

A nice experience and, above all, an elevating experience. Unique nature and an old sanatorium building, where guests were welcomed with a warm attitude even at midnight. Fresh strawberries with oatmeals.

A fine Art Nouveau villa. Part of the properties of the Spa Hotel Kruunupuisto. Truly magnificent ridge formations between Puruvesi and Pihlajavesi. The property is lined, among other things, for organizing various events.

Decent, clean hotel with mostly elderly guests but also sportspeople. Great location.

Welcome Return Visit I have stayed here before and hope to again. Right in the center of town and an easy walk to the train & bus station. The single rooms are small,particularly the bathrooms but the location, breakfast and friendly, helpful staff more than make up for tha. And there’s a pool and sauna!

Wonderful camping. Camping itself is quite big. You can choose to live in apartment, villa, small og big cabin, tent or park a camper. Shared kitchen and wc/douche are clean and big enough. Camping offers free sauna every morning which we enjoued much. You cal also find a private beach and orhet places where you can swim in the lake. Mojority of cabins have a lave wiev. Probably one of the few options in this area. Clean and no frill. Price is ok in Finland standard.

Opens at 8:30 and has a play area. A real lifesaver for the rainy days with a toddler

We have 4 beds camping summer house. Located just next to the lake. Beautiful. The house has two bunk beds. So it's really only for kids. Refrigerator, microwave and some cupboards in the house. The beds' size are smaller. One of the upstairs bed is much smaller. The house is clean. We rent the bedsheets and towels for €13 pp. There are some spots we can swim on the lake. A car can be parked easily...

Nice calm place, maybe more suitable for families with children

My partner and I tried the ice skating routes here and we had so much fun! The routes were clear and easy to follow, and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful 😊

Great resort if you are into nature. Great hiking, bicking and water activities. Nice cabins. Good place to get together with friends. There is a restaurant, gas station and a rental shop on prem. Every cabin has a sauna.

Lunch was alright and varied nicely between days. Nothing spectacular, but if you have a cottage nearby it's the most "value for your money" -lunch

We stayed for one night in August, in the basic cottage. Cottage was not perhaps the most luxurious as such but still more than enough for our purposes. Location is nice, very easy access from the highway and one could also reach this place via railway. Walking distance to the famous Punkaharju Ridge. Dinner and breakfast in the main building was very good, would certainly stop just for eating...

Beautiful place set by lake outside the town of Puumala. It was a very peaceful and serene setting, a great place to go to get away from busy cities. I would say that the staff were friendly rather than warm and helpful.

We have stayed overnight, dined, ate breakfast and had a sauna at the upper lake here multiple times and it was lovely. The staff is very helpful and kind. The food is nice and the breakfast buffet is a recommendation worthy. The niskalampi sauna is one of the most enjoyable saunas in that neighborhood. And the general atmosphere around the place is really nice.

Great location with lake views. Hotel rooms are OK, breakfast fabulous. The restaurant Koskivahti is classy and the casual grill/bat on the beach offers more casual, tasty food (burgers, pizza, salad). Plenty of activity options, too - now including padel.

We just stopped for a lunch break due too a recommendation. They offer a 3 course lunch consisting of (pure finnish) 2 different appetizers, 3 main courses and dessert to choose from. All excellent. We had a dog with us an it was very welcome too. Very friendly staff and untypically for finnish characters, open for jokes. Very much recommended

We booked one night for 4 people and received a big "dorm" hostel room with 4 single beds and a sofa. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. Visulahti park really has the feel of the 90's still going strong and corona propably hit it hard. We had a fun day as a group of three adults and six children in july 2021. Camping area is great, kids loved the lake, however park needs really some additions,and as usual kids love any kind of waterparks.

Personally loved it... best mid range park in terms of area and rides... not too big not too small...some really good rides for children.. Lockers available for 2E and 0.5E which are refundable... The only issue is that it was tough to find vegetarian food especially burger in the only restaurant that was open inside the park during even Summer solstice .. there was nothing else vegetarian available...
