Wonderful campground next to the lake. No lake view, but 1 minute walk to it. The kitchen is useful and fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay. It is not the most appealing to the eyes and the bathroom is very cold, so be prepared to shower warm in an ice cold room. It is close to savonlinna but I would suggest driving. It is almost too far to walk (doable but far).

Beautiful place set by lake outside the town of Puumala. It was a very peaceful and serene setting, a great place to go to get away from busy cities. I would say that the staff were friendly rather than warm and helpful.

We have stayed overnight, dined, ate breakfast and had a sauna at the upper lake here multiple times and it was lovely. The staff is very helpful and kind. The food is nice and the breakfast buffet is a recommendation worthy. The niskalampi sauna is one of the most enjoyable saunas in that neighborhood. And the general atmosphere around the place is really nice.

Great location with lake views. Hotel rooms are OK, breakfast fabulous. The restaurant Koskivahti is classy and the casual grill/bat on the beach offers more casual, tasty food (burgers, pizza, salad). Plenty of activity options, too - now including padel.

We just stopped for a lunch break due too a recommendation. They offer a 3 course lunch consisting of (pure finnish) 2 different appetizers, 3 main courses and dessert to choose from. All excellent. We had a dog with us an it was very welcome too. Very friendly staff and untypically for finnish characters, open for jokes. Very much recommended

We were here for 3 nights end of July, very beautiful site and location. Sauna near the lake. Places for tenta and campers and also little cabins. You can stand close to the lake on places with lots of shadow (pine trees). They made nice areas to sit or hang in a hammack or swim. Really relaxt! No misqitos! Absolut perfect place for Camping! In the woods and very close to the lake. Instead of 1 night we stayed 5 nights with tent (5th night is for free). Very pet friendly and natural trail for walking the dog. Morning Sauna for free. Beach, SUP, swimming, hiking „Saimaa-Seal-Track.“

Stayed in a house/ summer house/ cabin number 4 in the woods. Toilets, showers and kitchen extremely clean all the time! Take Sleeping bags- no need to pay for bed linen. Our visit took place in autumn, and the cloudy, rainy weather somewhat detracted from the experience. The room itself was pleasant. Wonderful place, surrounded by breathtaking nature, great variety of activities to do at the resort and beautiful places at short drive distances. Lovely and very helpful staff too. We are very happy for choosing to satay here for the longest bit of our Finland trip.

This is one of the best places I have stayed. We stayed in a Kuru Lakeside Suite and the view out of the floor to ceiling glass is absolutely stunning. We will try to return in winter as I think it would be even more beautiful. Cannot recommend more highly.

I clearly did not quite know where we were coming to and when I saw the place my jaw literally dropped 😁 We had a very nice small cabin with a view both over the area and over the lake, dinner was really delicious and staff was very friendly. Visiting here comes with rather a high price, but you will also get good service and extraordinary experience that justifies every cent. We are for sure going...

It was a very comfortable spacious villa with attached bathrooms. Everything about it was great. Boating/ sauna facilities and location.. very peaceful.

This is good vacation option for group of friends or several families (we were 8 people). We were in second half of August, so we enjoyed from plenty of mushrooms in the forest everywhere. We were in the villa located quite far from others villas (#11). Some other villas are very close each other. Lakeside sauna is good.
