Hot day in Finland The desk hours were real variable. The blinds had been left open before we checked in and it was a hot day in Finland, The sun was shining in so the room was hot. There was one little fan, but not really enough

Breakfast was great! The hotel is situated in nature so very peaceful and perfect when travelling with a dog. The room was comfy and I slept really well.

Friendly staff. Beautiful nature. Family room is big enough for 4 people and dogs. We liked separate entrance.

I was there with our company. Lots of activity options and the guides were fun and professional. Also the dinner was good. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay for the night.

A wonderful stay. Pleasant staff and the spa was excellent. The rooms could be better soundproofed, as noise from the corridor was quite loud.

Great service and excellent spa Great service, requested early check-in due to a wedding we were attending. That was handled professionally by the employees. Then after check out, we were still allowed to use the spa which was a true saviour. Overall great experience!

The room had no air conditioning, pieces were coming off the parquet floor, and dogs were barking in the neighboring rooms at night and in the morning

Good no frills but clean and functional rooms This is a small hotel consisiting of two barrack style buildings with a number of rooms. The rooms are small but usuable for business trips. I liked the cleanliness and facilities. But human contact is not there. It’s was hard as tourists to time checking in and out with only phone instructions.

Minimal accommodations and they need to work on their communications. We never got our 3pm text for the key code. The girl that runs the attached Thai restaurant (but a separate entity) was more than helpful, and the food was good. I’d recommend the restaurant but not the lodging.

Staff is very nice as are the rooms basically, but it is on the third floor of an office building. No staff at night at all . Accommodating if you arrive late on day of arrival , but they close at 1:00PM on Sunday . Can’t even store bags after that time.

Very good in the decent basic hotel category. Clean, quite spacious, tea, coffee and an armchair in the room. Pleasant breakfast space. Very well located for both the bus station and the old town. Like many cheaper Finnish hotels, doesn’t have 24-hour desk coverage, though staff when there were efficient and polite.

Breakfast was good, not outstanding. Our room was clean and the sauna was great! Can't beat the location for walking around town and the old part of Borgå. The staff was nice. We had an issue with our room key one evening and could not get in. The desk is not manned in the evening so getting a hold of someone to let us in was difficult but once we made contact they remedied the situation promptly...

A lovely spot to stay in Porvoo. The staff were so lovely and found a place for my bike inside the building. The breakfast was amazing and the sauna was excellent.

One day visit Quite nice and straightforward visit with all the necessities. Breakfast just fine; porridge, bread and also some vegetarian options. Didnt check gluten free options. Nice room, no disturbances and everything worked smoothly. Close to Porvoo old town, around 15min walk.

Nice and quiet area, good staff and easy to check-in and out. The building is a bit old though, but still in a decent condition generally.

Good value for money Room was basic, but clean. Very good breakfast was already in the fridge and room had kettle, coffee and tea. I really enjoyed the self service sauna. Hotel was quiet and service friendly. Good value

Extra large room was spacious but could be more comfy. Colours and materials in the room were nice and calming. Some noise coming through from the corridor. Service was welcoming and available. Breakfast was good but a bit more versatile. Sauna at the artic is extraordinary. Strong recommendation to visit sauna.

A little worn out, but good location

you get what you pay for. A reasonable price for a totally outdated hotel. The rooms are clean but haven‘t been updated for ages. In the lamps still the good old energy saving bulls are flickering. Breakfast is simple. The location is ok, it’s close to shops and about 10 mins to the old town. The parking in the underground garage is very convenient.

Hotel location is strategic at the heart of the city, but we're struggling with the entrance of the hotel, the map said it's arrived, we saw the sign of the hotel but we can't find the door of the hotel, we asked to people around they dont have any idea even the food stall's seller which the stall right under the hotel's sign. A nice farm next to a river owned by hospitable hosts holding horses and donkeys. We enjoyed having a tasty breakfast with warm homemade buns and other local products, staying in a traditional summer house (good sleep as no sunlight, sounds and heat getting inside). There are also sauna, bicycles, boats and hiking options.

Best day of my life!! The owners were super super nice, walking with the donkeys was amazing and the savusauna with dock on the river was too notch!

Because. Clean apartment and no unnecessary crunches like this during Korona. I didn't miss anything. I was overnight and the friendly host brought breakfast and payment was easy to complete. I recommend it to people who want to spend their nights sleeping well. Decent beds and bed.

It is a charming hotel located on top of Porvoo just next to the church. It is a beautiful old merchant house renovated to fit a small hotel. Peaceful place to stay overnight in the old city center, simple yet very good breakfast, small garden where you can eat breakfast and enjoy blossoming plants.

We (two adults) stayed at Ida-Maria in Jan/2021 for two nights in ”Pieni huoneisto, puutarhanäkymä”. The room was lovely, cozy and clean. Delicious breakfast and very good service! All of this in the heart of Porvoo Old Town. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Nice little boutique hotel in complimenting the spirit of Porvoo Old Town in a splendid location right in the heart of the city. The room was neat and cosy and had a little sauna as well( thank you for the upgrade). Breakfast was lovely and served in a nice and intimate space. Every time again. Gorgeous little sweet place. I had room number 1 with a sauna in my bathroom. The owner was just lovely and gave us a really warm welcome.
