A very strong recommendation for a weekend getaway! It has it all - a great location, design, food, drinks, service. A special thanks to fantastic cocktails, a delicious breakfast and stylish sauna with pleasant atmosphere and good "löylyt". The stay was worth every penny!

Quiet, beautiful boutique hotel. Good location in old town. Excellent breakfast. Hotel has no bar in winter time but there is a grate restaurant Meat District just few steps from hotel.
Quaint, stylish, old fashioned and nicely located hotel just in the middle of the old town. The hotel has their own parking lot and the cost was about 15€’s per night. The hotel has rooms both upstairs and downstairs, around 12 in total. Some of the rooms have their own saunas. Rooms are equipped with antique furnitures.

We had a company trip here for one night. Most of the buildings are rough 80's styled concrete things, but the manor itself was beautiful. Location was nice and quiet, with green nature all around. A big let down was the food and the wine we had for a late dinner. The food was quite low tear and the vegetarian option was horrible canned mushrooms thing. Nice cozy place away from city hustle bustle.... ideal for hosting conferences and events. Bit far away from any happenings and having your own car to drive around would be ideal. Also dinner lunch and dinner options are limited and better to include in to package.

A nice farm next to a river owned by hospitable hosts holding horses and donkeys. We enjoyed having a tasty breakfast with warm homemade buns and other local products, staying in a traditional summer house (good sleep as no sunlight, sounds and heat getting inside). There are also sauna, bicycles, boats and hiking options.
Best day of my life!! The owners were super super nice, walking with the donkeys was amazing and the savusauna with dock on the river was too notch!
Because. Clean apartment and no unnecessary crunches like this during Korona. I didn't miss anything. I was overnight and the friendly host brought breakfast and payment was easy to complete. I recommend it to people who want to spend their nights sleeping well. Decent beds and bed.

Lovely hotel with new fresh look and great Finnish design. The room was simple and peaceful. The reservation included relaxing sauna and one of the best breakfast with many vegetarian and vegan options! Location is right there in the heart of Porvoo. You could also rent city-bikes from the hotel to explore the city more freely. The staff were very helpful and gave us info where to go in old-town....
Low budget, old skool. Clean and tidy with nice staff. But rooms adjacent to road are noisy, and the blinds / curtains are poorly maintained so room never dark. Tired and needs refurbishment - looks like 1990 European style. Easy parking and access, breakfast relaxed and okay. Room service is limited only to replacing towels, so toilet not flushed not beds made up. There are better choices.

Peaceful place to stay overnight in the old city center, simple yet very good breakfast, small garden where you can eat breakfast and enjoy blossoming plants.
We (two adults) stayed at Ida-Maria in Jan/2021 for two nights in ”Pieni huoneisto, puutarhanäkymä”. The room was lovely, cozy and clean. Delicious breakfast and very good service! All of this in the heart of Porvoo Old Town. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Stayed for a night with my companion and was not disappointed. Excellent breakfast, astounding housing right on the river bank and wonderful service.

Very Pleasant Place close to Porvoo
Finding this place is hard. Either use the navigator and drive strictly according to the coordinates, or use the Internet on the spot. Check in advance that your navigator has a road to this place. We spent the night here on the way to Helsinki. A great option to relax if you arrived in Finland late and if you want to spend the night cheap.

I dont know why this hotel should not deserve 5 stars... its location, cleanliness, amenities.. all were perfect.. the only downside is the distance of the hotel from the public transport.. but everything else greatly matched expectations...
How can people rate this cozy and well-equipped hotel (my room had tea/coffee making amenities and a fridge!) less than 4 stars? For the money, given the country we are in it’s just fantastic! Hotel’s Achilles’ heel is the distance from the old center in case you are on foot and it’s a cold Winter outside (it’s around 20 minute walk, so doable in any case). This place is about 25 minutes walking from old town Porvoo, and like many hotels in Finland, there’s no air conditioning only fans. Ideally located in Porvoo, this basic, no frills, self-service hotel room was quiet, spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is true that the pillows were children size, but we brought our own. The breakfast was very basic and would have been much better if the bread selection had been more varied and exotic.
If you are looking for a flash modern hotel with stamp size rooms this is not for you. It is an older hotel with spacious clean rooms, a superb breakfast and friendly service. I was there for 10 days. The room was very big. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and warm. They were cleaning my room every day. The brekfast was served from 5:30! - that is really good and there was so many things to choose. The hotel is not modern but it is very cosy, people very helpful. And it is in centre of town. For sure I will come back!

Breakfast was great! The hotel is situated in nature so very peaceful and perfect when travelling with a dog. The room was comfy and I slept really well.
Friendly staff. Beautiful nature. Family room is big enough for 4 people and dogs. We liked separate entrance.
