B&B HOTEL Honfleur in Honfleur

Affordable but not much more. Breakfast was minimal. Room space very tight, there were three of us. Air conditioning making a loud noise every 5-10 minutes so had to switch it off to be able to sleep with. Receptionist didn't speak English so difficult to explain our concerns. Most restaurants in the neighborhood already closed at dinner time on Saturday. No parking can be found in city centre and too far for walking.

Nicely situated, quiet hotel. As usual the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was varied in choices of either hot or cold foods. A short distance to the centre of Honfleur by car ( 5 minutes,) but also a nice walk too.

Every time I travel, especially by car, and need a budget stay, I am choosing B&B hotels. This time - Honfleur (France). The hotel has free parking, good location with an easy access to the main roads and nice restaurants nearby. Despite situated on the road - it was very quiet at night and we (2 adults and 1 child) had a very good sleep. The room was cozy, though it has a little space for the large suitcases, so we left them at the car. It had stairs to the second level with two single beds. My child was happy! The room and the bathroom were clean and had enough soap/shampoo. The bathroom was very small, but we couldn't expect much for what we paid. The beds were comfortable, the mattresses and bedding were clean and provided a good rest. We had a breakfast which had the usual food - eggs, bacon, pastry, bread, juices, coffee and tea, cereals, etc. - it was more than enough to feel full and energized to start the new day of activities. So I am glad that we took the breakfast, especially that morning there was raining and we didn't want to waste our time in search for food in a bad weather. There are also vending machines inside the hotel with bottles of water and some snacks. The staff was friendly and willing to help. We were satisfied and recommend this hotel. Enjoy your stay!!!
