Hotel Cala di Greco in Bonifacio

We had a wonderful experience at Cala Di Greco - the hotel is a bit up from Bonifacio town which is really peaceful and relaxing. The main terrace has beautiful views of the old town and it’s very peaceful. The hotel is well designed the high walls making it feel private and quiet. The rooms are well equipped and the private pool in our room was lovely. Clean, modern and tranquil. Note there isn’t a restaurant on the property but the staff organised a shuttle to a restaurant in town and can also call taxis to other places.

The property has a dramatic physical setting with a panoramic view of Bonifacio, the Bonifacio Strait, and Sardinia in the distance. The grounds are tastefully landscaped with plantings of olives and other Mediterranean species. Staff was helpful with restaurant and excursion recommendations.

Certainly the best hotel in Corsica! Luxury hotel with an amazing city view, rooms are really nice, we had our own pool. Sauna and spa are also very nice!

Our stay at Cali Di Greco was delightful from start to finish. We spent 4 nights here. The buildings and grounds are so beautiful and have a grecian style...clean modern lines, white buildings carefully situated in a stunning landscaped property. Each room is very private with two doors, one leading in from the outside, then an artfully designed entryway leading to another door into the room. We had our own terrace with an ocean view. We got the "basic" room and felt we had plenty of space. We enjoyed the infinity pool just below us. The room decor is simple and stunning; we can appreciate the design. The breakfasts are not to be missed. Anything you could possibly want is there and it is all homemade. Each morning we sat outside overlooking the almost mythical ancient walled city of Bonifacio. I had to pinch myself; the view is one of the most ethereal views I have encountered in my life. And during our breakfast housekeeping staff were busy freshening up our room! The last sentence leads me to bring up the owner and family who run and operate the hotel. They are very "hands on" and it shows. The owner makes a point of checking in with all the guests each morning and make time to connect in an authentic way. We spent 5 weeks in France and Corsica staying in small hotels. Cali Di Greco was our favorite hotel of all. In a world where personal attention and graciousness is rare I am grateful to the owners for creating a little world of beauty and generosity. Quiet, beautifully designed hotel and retreat space on the edge of Bonifacio. Free use of electric bikes for guests puts some of the best beaches within human-powered reach as an added bonus.

Very nice property with friendly staff. The view from the bar / pool area is fantastic too. Rooms are nice, with everything you need. Breakfast was too expensive for a buffet, not that it was bad, just overpriced. You really need a car as walking into town isn’t very convenient. Bear-in-mind, you’ll be going out for lunch and dinner, possibly breakfast too. The general location is great, but can get extremely busy.

Cliff Side Luxury in Beautiful Corsica
Gorgeous cliff side hotel. Great rooms and we loved our private pool. Pretty far from town and very expensive when booked in advance. Prices rise very high for the summer season. We were lucky to get a last minute final night and it was much better priced for nearly the same room. Very lovely hotel overall and worth the splurge. Note, no real dining on site other than a delicious breakfast and some good small plates at the bar.

The hotel is truly beautifully designed with a central area and pool overlooking Bonifacio and the ocean as do many of the rooms. Gorgeous heated pools, tasteful art and design touches. Room was immaculate and well appointed. It’s about a ten minute drive from the city.
