Chambres à Bord'O in Bordeaux

We would not change a thing. The location is a quiet oasis away from the main tourist sites but the close proximity of the tram stop meant we were only 10 minutes from the centre. The accommodation is stylish, very clean with comfortable beds. We were fortunate in meeting both Nathalie and Ann who were both extremely helpful with suggestions for sightseeing and dining. We would not hesitate in recommending Chambres a Bord'O.

Very comfortable accommodation in an excellent location close to a tram stop. Just a five minute ride into the city. Natalie was a very friendly host offering lots of useful advice and suggestions of places to visit in the city. This enabled us to make the most of our time in beautiful Bordeaux. Natalie also made sensible and well judged restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was extensive and of lovely quality, with homemade jams plus delicious cake, brioche choices for each of our four mornings there. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower and air conditioning. This accommodation offers excellent value for money being East of the river but within easy reach of the city and the airport via the tram service.

A wonderful guest house on the "wrong side of the river". Easy access to the city by the excellent tram service. Brilliant hosts Anne and Nathalie both speak English, are full of hints and tips to make your holiday go without a hitch. Free safe in your room is a bonus. Breakfast is continental, communal with the other guests, and plentiful and not too early, though this is flexible if you want to get out and about. The rooms are comfy, beds cosy, and facilities as you would expect. You have your own keys to your room and exterior door. The road is relatively quiet, though it does link with the main Avenue Thiers, which is also where the tram stops. There is a small supermarket selling fresh fruit and ice cream, drinks, snacks, household items etc just around the corner. The city is walkable, though we only walked half way home when a demonstration stopped the trams. All in all we would highly recommend this perfect residence. Maybe a little music at breakfast would help with gaps in conversation? ❤️

Lovely accommodation with a great location. Tram stop around the corner and the tram line from the airport takes you straight there. Natalie is a fantastic host and took time giving us recommendations of places to visit, how to get around the city and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Very good breakfast with good choices available. I’d really recommend staying here!
