Good value! Property a bit tired. Good showers Poor AC Good cotton bedding!
Beautiful hotel and very large room and bath. Comfortable bed and well appointed with amenities. It is a 35-40 minute walk to the historic center.
The hotel is okay at best. Staff was extremely rude and not helpful. Room was not clean, especially toilets and bathroom. Does not really fits the 4* claim.
The dry and wet areas are separated and the space is large, which is very good.
We stayed here while visiting for the Olympics and it just so happened to be the same hotel where the Men's and Women's Spanish National Soccer teams were staying! The hotel is beautiful and a close walk to the river trams, with plenty of dining/shopping options nearby.
Quality for money. The staff were very nice and friendly. I’ll recommend it anytime,

The hotel is well located, within walking distance from the historic centre and monuments. The room was good size, cosy, quiet, well appointed and very clean, no spots, no old furniture or appliances. There is everything you need, a special observation for the very good quality toiletries: Nuxe. Very good breakfast served in a large and quiet room with good quality products, cold and warm, everything...
Had a great time at the Mercure centre ville and stayed for 3 nights. Exceptional service from the reception and cleaning staff. My girl left her stuff on her side of the bed during the day and staff left her stuff untouched which was great and they left her side of the bed unmade but they still made the effort to make my side of the bed. Amazing attention to detail. Thanks to everyone.
It was really good experience.
The hotel is great! The bar was fun, the tv showed formula one, the rooms had a kettle and coffee pods, had a second door to block noise from the hallway, and caramels! It is in a great location, really easy walking distance to the attractions
It was nice to stay in this hotel and it is near centre ville. The room is clean and they will clean everday. But the amentites are not too many, only basic bar and restaurant. TV is cable channel.
Nice stay for 2 nights in Bordeaux with family. It is convenient coming by car and is there is a paid parking in the shopping Center next to the hotel. Not at the heart but only 10 min walking distance from old town. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

This is the budget Ibis so don't expect much. Room was tiny but cosy. Bathroom super small but has a loo, shower and tiny sink that splashes water everywhere. Don't bother with the breakfast though. Weak coffee, toast and croissant. Museli tastes like shredded cardboard. Dining room doubles as reception and corridor.

Great central location, staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were decent, only reason not 5 star is due to ineffective air conditioning for me! Otherwise, great hotel.

Good location, on the edge of downtown. Nice, clean facilities. Good breakfast.
Room is spacious, good for a night stay. There’s no official drop of area, but you can temporary stop car by roadside for few minutes.

Next to a calm lake, quiet and beautiful surroundings. Nice bathroom design. Good breakfast.
Fantastic especially the breakfast
Great breakfast, warm welcome, clean and well-soundproofed room. However, the pool we'd hoped for wasn't functional, there wasn't enough toilet paper for four people, no air conditioning (or was it non-functional?), and the shower drain was very limited, resulting in a minor flood...
Simple, high-quality, high-standard design, configuration and maintenance, efficient and professional team, patiently answering questions, enthusiastically helping to solve problems, safe and secure, ample parking, less than 5 minutes by tram line C station, 15 minutes by car to major attractions, affordable prices, very convenient, the best choice for self-driving tours in Bordeaux.

Awesome services from jade i really really Thank her!
Excellent Stay – Special Thanks to the Front Desk! Our experience at Pullman Bordeaux was fantastic. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, but what truly stood out was the warm and professional welcome we received at check-in. A special thank you to the lady at the reception—she was incredibly helpful, kind, and made us feel right at home from the very start. Highly recommended! Thx!
Pleasant hotel, well located and modern. Very good value for money. Breakfast with variety and quality.
Pro's: -very friendly staff (reception, bar, cleaning..)! -spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds Con's: -parking costs -air conditioning could be better

The room was quite satisfactory, and the service was good. Plus, the room had a water view. It's a bit far from the Old Town. The breakfast had fruit, but was lacking in green leafy vegetables, only offering shredded radish. If you're only staying one night in Bordeaux, it's better to stay near the Grand Theatre in the Old Town to experience the castle culture! For those staying just one night, you...
Everything was great, from the facilities to the service, couldn't ask for more. The only minor downside was the limited variety at breakfast.
The hotel is clean and excellent near a food court. The staff are extremely courteous and professional. Absolutely recommend! The staff made a point to try and give us a river facing room. If you plan to use the hotel parking, I advice to book the parking in advance. Great breakfast spread!
Good service. Nest to the hotel is convenient store , eateries. Good river view. Comfortable and clean room. Walking sister the St Jean Train station. Enjoyable experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental Bordeaux for only two nights, we were blown away by the service. We were checked in by the very lovely Andrea at the front desk. After our long day of travel she was very kind, recognising our status as IHG Platinum and Intercon. Ambassador members. We were allocated a beautiful suite with direct view of the Opera House, along with some delicious welcome...
Maybe the best hotel experience I've ever had! The Intercontinental Bordeaux is a historic and beautiful hotel in the very center of town. We were greeted by the most helpful and cheerful staff you could imagine that made the check in process so easy and enjoyable. The room itself was spacious and beautiful (photos can't capture how nice). Premium products in the bathroom and the softest bed I've...
We were received and welcome by Sabrina, She was most accommodating and made us feel comfortable. Also during our stay Morgan and Andria were most helpful during our stay. George was also helping making all our reservation. All in All I can say that Intercontinental hotel in Bordeaux met all our expectation. Keep up the good work. Thank you, John Mirsepahi
House keeping did not replenish black tea and enough cream despite requesting on 2 occasions. In a family room for 3, only 2 bottles of water and 2 chocolates were left each day. Other than that, staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the old original feel of the building and interiors. The family room was very spacious and we appreciated having 2 bathrooms and separate toilets. The special gifts...
Because we were a couple, one adult and two children, we couldn't fit into a regular room, so we booked a suite. The exterior is beautiful, in the bustling area of Bordeaux. However, we were given a second-floor suite. Anyone who's stayed in an old European hotel knows that the second floor was originally a warehouse, with low ceilings and small windows. You can see the building just two meters away...
Thank you to the InterContinental team for their professionalism and hospitality. Due to a local festival, we had a hard time reaching the hotel, but Curtis went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly and rest after our long trip. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a convenient, central location and offers a generous breakfast spread each morning. However, the gym facilities are quite basic and do not include a treadmill. Additionally, drinking water must be fetched from Level 1, which may be inconvenient for some guests. It has a restaurant inside which gives you a lot of options if you don't want to walk. Overall, a good stay if you value location...
The room was clean and tidy, but a bit old; the carpet had stains. Double rooms had coffee machines, but single rooms did not. It's located near the city hall, so transportation is convenient. The staff were very polite.
Novotel Hotel is not far from Bordeaux City Hall and Cathedral. There is a large indoor parking lot next to the hotel, from which you can walk directly to the hotel; there are signs. The hotel lobby has a restaurant, which is quite nice; we had dinner there. There is a small supermarket a short distance away. The family rooms are nice. The breakfast is good.
Staff were amazing, food was excellent and room were very clean. I would happily come here again. My only issue was the bad smell of the tap/shower water. But that is probably a municipal issue.

We had a lovely stay, beautiful spacious and spotless bedroom. Breakfast was very good, however the staff were very very prompt in closing down the service, switching of the lights while we were still finishing our breakfast. Only 1 person at the front desk spoke any English. But definitely recommend this hotel.
I was very disappointed with my stay in Bordeaux. The room had an unpleasant smell, the hair dryer didn’t work, and the entire property is in need of serious renovation. It’s definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised — more like a 2.5 to 3-star at best. The location might be convenient, but the overall experience did not meet expectations. I would not stay here again unless major improvements are...
Room wasn’t ready before 3:00 pm even though the front desk said it was vacant. We watched other guests receive immediate access before 3:00. Dirty torn faded carpet with wet spots. Refrigerator door was open on arrival. Shower floor extremely slippery and hazardous. No wash cloths available. Loud music and pounding noise from the fitness center a floor below awakened us in early morning.
Great location to visit LaCité du Vin and Les Bassins de Lumières. Many dining options nearby.
The room is spacious and clean. We have to take the tram to go to the city centre. It’s around 5-10 mins walk to the tram station. You can’t control the air con from your room, you have to dial to the reception to change the temperature for you.
This hotel was great. A few bugs trying to figure out the parking garage but the staff was super helpful. The rooftop bar/restaurant was our favorite place every evening with wonderful views of the German submarine pens and the Cite de Vin. We drove the first 2 days to city center but walked along the water to Cite du Vin and found the tram station. So much easier to take the tram. Staff was so kind...

The room is very cute! It’s close to the wine museum
A very new and upscale French hotel, living up to the Renaissance brand. The rooms were new, and the amenities were excellent, especially the body lotion and conditioner. However, the receptionist was a bit arrogant and didn't explain the parking...
Bathrobe and hotel slippers are not free of charge. You have to request them for 5euros.
The room was clean and hygienic, and the location was excellent, near the wine museum. Public transport trams were available outside, providing easy access to the city center, and parking was also nearby for those driving.
The location is right next to the museum, with a food court downstairs that's very busy during meal times. It's also conveniently located by tram, with only 4 or 5 stops to the city in 20 minutes. When I arrived in Paris, I realized I had left my computer at the hotel, so they sent it to my Paris hotel the next day. Great!

Pretty nice ‘Indigo’ experience.  Nice reception and service, especially the very sweet offer of complimentary croissants and pastries leaving on GF at the morning time, let the busy travelers just to grab and go for a simple breakfast.  Overall a quite happy stay there, especially if you like running at the morning, it’s just steps away from the podium along the Gironne River, which is so beautiful
The rooms are nice. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. My wife found a small bug on the bed. It wasn’t a bed bug but the staff was nice enough to change our rooms. We like this place. Really convenient to the train station, reasonable price, comfortable quiet room (king bed, very comfortable) friendly helpful staff, nice restaurant.
I would suggest bath mats in the shower particularly for older people, once the water has hit the shower it tends to be a bit slippery. I would also suggest that perhaps down at the barrier area they might introduce fries so that you can have just snacks with your drinks rather than food.
