Great location, staff, beautifully appointed rooms, and the breakfast was on point!

Comfortable stay. An overnight stopover returning to Uk from Spain. Interior decor was great and very spacious room and dining area. More staff needed for a large space as service. I had no hairdryer in my room. Food was ok, breakfast was good.

a quick overnight stay on a drive back from Spain, location was good and easy to find with a secure car park. The bar was open late and the breakfast was very good with a good choice of food which was also of high quality

Building work in very early morning like 7:30, too noisy

Not the hotel's fault, but Villefranche was very limited in terms of restaurants.

The usual maintenance issues continue , the lift was out of service over the whole weekend , amazing for a 4 star hotel of this quality , our room toilet flush system was faulty , it's the details that matter ! and the prices keep rising , price and quality need to match . CORRECT, SANS PLUS Sejourv sans problèmes, si ce n'est que l'hôtel étatit en rénovation, donc pas acceuillant. Il faut bien faire des travaux, c'est normal, mais cela aurait du être signalé sur le site. Donc aucune possibilté de petit déjeuner. Chambre petite mais confortable. Télévision au mur mais de côté, donc pas favotrable à une bonne soirée à moins d'avoir un torticoli. Chambre 401

Pleasant hotel, rather quiet for its location in the city center.

Ideal location in down-town, friendly staff. Parking a bit difficult, garage narrow and not suitable for modern cars. Room quite small but with good bed, modern TV and fast Wifi. Bathroom extremely small and shower with air-leaky window = extremely cold in winter. Breakfast lower avg.

Superb value for money. Marvellous staff - really friendly and enthusiastic , especially the lady serving at dinner! A little care worn on the inside and out, but if you’re looking for value and convenience then this place fits the bill. Decent dinner and breakfast. Free parking, ok for cars, a bit tight if you’ve got a LWB van.

Helt ok hotel til en meget fair pris.

I had to wait one and a half our in front of the gate of the parking, not able to exit, as nobody notified me during the check in, that a code was needed to open the gate, and I was not given one. Nobody could be reached and there was nobody present.

Just what we needed. Clean basic room just as we needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Verry nice hotel, the outside terrace was verry nice place to take a drink and enjoy, the food in the restaurant was ok, and the bathrooms in the room was verry nice and modern.

One night stay over We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful. Our regret was we had eaten a huge lunch and were not hungry for dinner. But breakfast made up for it. Ohhhhhh. One more regret. We didn’t stay longer. Their on property spa looks fabulous. Merci

Pretty property! Comfortable room We only passed through so we stayed one night but it was comfortable! Beautiful property. Host accommodated us on our late check in so we were grateful for that! Definitely recommend it!

perfect location for a short stay especially for people travelling across to the east of France or Alpes, very clean rooms and excellent mattresses, easy parking and late check in available

The outside may give the wrong impression about this hotel, the rooms are modern and well working if simple. Staff is friendly and the downstairs restaurant is nice, especially the patio in the summer.

Good for one nigth sleep. Room looks clean. bathroom looks clean but the bathroom floor theres a foot mark and the towel is super dry and hard it will leave scratches on your skin.

What a beautiful place! Nice rooms, beautiful design, bed was a bit hard for me but ok for 1 night. Diner was absolute a party for the mouth and mind, our waiter was a young man, who speaks very good English (for a Frenchman 😉) service was absolute super! And the kitchen was so good! Slightly odd location tucked away behind security fencing. Extraordinary dinner, spectacular menu, good wine list and great service from Marie.

We did not stay in the hotel as we live nearby. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with friends today. Excellent service, beautiful decor and cuisine of a very high standard! We will be back and look forward to the spring when we can enjoy the lovely terrace.

Correct price / quality balance. Campanile is Campanile. Always clean, good service, ideal for a one night stop over on the way.

Disappointed The rooms are old and in need of an update. We only had nets at the window, no curtains to stop the morning light. One of the bedside lights was not working. The website advertised at evening restaurant, this is now no longer open.

Would deserve a good renovation. Staff to provide meals (not currently available). And REAL heating in the rooms...

Heating by air heater broken only electric auxiliary heating available, the air heater emitted a noise of water circulation the first night. Hot water not available on the 2nd morning.

Very warm welcome, very helpful young lady at reception. The room (no.1) is in desperate need of refurbishment! The very thin vinyl floor is lifting everywhere, the cover hiding the radiator wires has come undone, there are wholes in the walls, the bathroom is extremely dated... however the bed is very comfortable and the room was clean. I guess you get what you pay for... Location is ideal for overnight...
