Comfortable stay. An overnight stopover returning to Uk from Spain. Interior decor was great and very spacious room and dining area. More staff needed for a large space as service. I had no hairdryer in my room. Food was ok, breakfast was good.

The outside may give the wrong impression about this hotel, the rooms are modern and well working if simple. Staff is friendly and the downstairs restaurant is nice, especially the patio in the summer.

Good for one nigth sleep. Room looks clean. bathroom looks clean but the bathroom floor theres a foot mark and the towel is super dry and hard it will leave scratches on your skin.

Superb value for money. Marvellous staff - really friendly and enthusiastic , especially the lady serving at dinner! Helt ok hotel til en meget fair pris.

I had to wait one and a half our in front of the gate of the parking, not able to exit, as nobody notified me during the check in, that a code was needed to open the gate, and I was not given one. Nobody could be reached and there was nobody present.

Disappointed The rooms are old and in need of an update. We only had nets at the window, no curtains to stop the morning light. One of the bedside lights was not working. The website advertised at evening restaurant, this is now no longer open.

Heating by air heater broken only electric auxiliary heating available, the air heater emitted a noise of water circulation the first night. Hot water not available on the 2nd morning.

Very warm welcome, very helpful young lady at reception. The room (no.1) is in desperate need of refurbishment! The very thin vinyl floor is lifting everywhere, the cover hiding the radiator wires has come undone, there are wholes in the walls, the bathroom is extremely dated... however the bed is very comfortable and the room was clean. I guess you get what you pay for... Location is ideal for overnight...

This Hotel is perfect for us for a stop over on our way to Spain or for a stay in Lyon for a few days. Nice rooms, clean, enough space, good service, fantastic breakfast and an underground car park. We really liked this hotel. The room was clean and large. The breakfast atmosphere was very quiet, and the food was very good. It's a 15-minute walk to the metro station, and you can take the bus right outside the door.

We had the family room. Was spacious, super clean, with all necessary amenities available. Breakfast was very good and had a great variety of croissant, fruits, cold cuts, cheese, musili, and all sorts of fresh juices.

Even though the hotel is not in the city centre, it is closely located to a metro station and the Mur des Canuts. The rooms were clean and since our rooms where located to the back, it was not noisy at all during the night. The buffet was small but sufficient. Price-quality was great. The room I got was really cozy, the service was good, and it had the amenities of an apartment, which wouldn't be there for a regular hotel room. The location is central but very high up, so walking uphill was a daily task. I personally appreciated the opportunity to shed some calories, but it's definitely not for everyone.

Good end results! When I arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell and waited a long time. After ringing many times, an attendant came to the desk (about 30 minutes later). He seemed unprepared for me, and left to find a room. After 15 minutes and me ringing the bell several times again, he came back. He was very nice, appologetic, and assigned a "room with a view"....

The room was clean. The girl at the front office checked us in early, that was nice. The housekeeper accommodated us with extra comforter as I felt cold so that was kind as well. I haven’t tried their breakfast as I need a high protein meal and I wasn’t sure they had that. Hôtel definitely needs an upgrade. Everything looks and feels very dated.

This hotel is “ok”. Small things could have been done to give a better value. The rooms could have more hooks but that is a personal preference. In general I felt it was not good value for the cost. We had the most expensive room category. Keep looking you can find better less expensive centrally located hotels.

The Collège Hôtel was perfect for our 4-night stay in Lyon! The location is great, within an easy walk to so many fun neighborhoods and multiple metro stops. The team could not have been nicer and more accommodating and the terrace is gorgeous. The water bottle-filling station is an underrated amenity!

Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Rooms are very spacious with modern bathrooms. Breakfast is slightly limited but for us it was more than satisfactory. Internet access was free and very reliable. This is a very solid 3 star hotel located in quiet residential area. Easy access by Metro and bus. I visited for a conference at in2p3 and this hotel was in walking distance from the venue. Would recommend to a friend and will definitely book again if occasion presents itself.

Are family of 6 booked two Lumiere suites, with 3 people in each room. We could not have been happier with the accomodation and location. The quality of the rooms is outstanding and both rooms were light filled. Our rooms were on level 3 and 4 and over looked the street below, but with double windows so incredibly quiet and dark at night (the curtains were complete block out). Location was unbelievable...

Being in a very old building meant the room was unique. Some good points: excellent lighting, many electrical outlets, an espresso machine. Also although this was the Vieux Lyon area with many bars and restaurants, the double windows meant it was very quiet. Even within the room, one could not hear anything from the toilet room or bathroom room.

Single room was very spacious and the hotel is at a perfect location. Has a little cute pool although the water is a bit too cold for winter. Everything was fine but curiously they put up the history of the ground in the hotel corridor which I found quite creepy for solo travelers lol

The hotel has an ideal location, with easy access to almost all important sites. It's also very close to the Hôtel de Ville-Louis Pradel metro station. Hotel was good, close to public transport and plenty of bars and restaurants. Unfortunately we were in the ‘Cinema Room’, which had no external windows. We couldn’t get fresh air into the room and the aircon wasn’t enough to get rid of the humid air after showers. Also, there was no fridge in the room - you had to leave any food items with the concierge on the ground floor

We enjoyed our stay in Maison No. It’s in great central area and it’s very convenient to get to. Rooms are clean and comfy, service are nice, staffs are lovely. We also tried the rooftop bar, not our taste but.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Lyon! No slippers and a robe in the room. Strange light regulation.

Great location maxed with a roof top bar, giving view to all the major sites of the city. Room is cosy, but a bit stuffy during sunny days  (air conditioning was blocked at this time of the year)

Good location, clean rooms, but what made the stay so great was the very friendly staff! Will visit again!

Recent renovation of the Lobby and the rooms are a plus.

A good choice for business trip in Lyon. If you are not at the University of Lyon, there is no need to come here. Traffic is not good, environment is average, breakfast is OK in time for the European Cup. Other than that, I probably won't come again Ibis is Europe for seven days

The hotel is quite nice and well managed. The staff is attentive and professional. It is a short walk from public transportation and also the amazing public park Tête D’Or. We were in room 509, which was comfortable, very clean and quiet. One of the nicest Ibis Styles hotels we have stayed in! Breakfast was awesome.

Not in a central but convenient area, with the metro 10 minutes away on foot. The rooms are basic. The service is mediocre, as is the bar service. Breakfast a little confusing but decent. Price too high for the services offered. the wi-fi worked very badly.

Such a beautiful hotel and the staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but we did have breakfast every day which was delicious with plenty of options and lots of organic options. A wonderful stay 😊

For a few recent visits to Lyon, I decided to stay at this Radisson which popped up as an alternative to the one cited in the tower across the river. And for what you get is excellent value. It's location puts you near plenty of places to eat and wander, and if you're feeling up to it, take a walk (or for an even bigger challenge) jog up the hill to the Basilica for great views across Lyon! I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The architecture alone is worth the visit. It was rainy and cold in Lyon at the time, so the spa was an excellent way to spend the afternoons. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff really enhanced my holiday. I couldn't recommend it enough!
