Really !!! 3 star I would call this half a star. The whole place needs upgrading,its dated and grubby. Toilet needed a good clean,the net curtains needed washing as did the windows which were dusty with spider webs. Based on the rooms and communal area we decided not to eat there so went to a little hotel across the road called the Abbaye which has a nice restaurant.
Didn't chance breakfast, it really is a cheek to advertise this place in this condition. Come on Campanille get this hotel sorted

Arrived told no food availability as restaurant full it had 4 people in it paid for breakfast to facilitate our onward journey we got there for it’s opening at 7 am by 7.15 along with other people it was clear it was not going to open no food laid out and no staff on site reception closed !

Disappointed
The rooms are old and in need of an update. We only had nets at the window, no curtains to stop the morning light. One of the bedside lights was not working.

Would deserve a good renovation. Staff to provide meals (not currently available). And REAL heating in the rooms...

Heating by air heater broken only electric auxiliary heating available, the air heater emitted a noise of water circulation the first night.

Room in need of serious renovation: lack of electrical outlet, cobwebs on the ceiling, bedroom curtain in poor condition, bathroom non-functional and dated (yellowed shower curtain, mixer tap in poor condition, broken support, heating extra from another time, no toilet brush, etc...).
We are used to Campanile Hotels but we have never had a room like this in France or abroad.
The breakfast and welcome were OK.

Very warm welcome, very helpful young lady at reception.
The room (no.1) is in desperate need of refurbishment! The very thin vinyl floor is lifting everywhere, the cover hiding the radiator wires has come undone, there are wholes in the walls, the bathroom is extremely dated... however the bed is very comfortable and the room was clean. I guess you get what you pay for...
Location is ideal for overnight stay as close and easy access to the motorway.
