nice little hotel.
Not every staff member can speak english but all (that i saw) could understand it.
Room was okay for 1 night. You can see that it didn't got renovated for some time.
Breakfast was very cute and delicious.

A good 2star hotel. Ambiente is a bit old, but rooms are comfortable and clean. Price very good. The beds are good and room size big. Bathroom and toilet separat. Hotel lies very central 5min to walk into town. But still it is very quiet with gardenview to the back. Car parking is possible for 10€ a night. Breakfast is for 7€ really good and for me fully enough. Staff is friendly and the hotel has 24hours reception. I can recommand this hotel.

Rude, incompetent and unhelpful staff. Dirty rooms. Toilet seat and shower broken. No covers for the stained feather duvet that was on the bed but apparently that's normal for french hotels and they don't have duvet covers there. Desperately needs updating. Lack of sockets in the bedroom for charging devices. Beds uncomfortable. Lots of noise from the street making it I'm possible to sleep. People in the corridor trying bedroom doors all night. Walls paper thin and lacking sound proofing. Issues with parking too. One to avoid at all costs.

Comfortable hotel in Dijon
Solo traveller. Stayed at the Victor Hugo on two nights a week apart. A comfortable experience in this traditional French hotel, Very good breakfast. The Managers are very friendly. First room was better than the second which was rather quirky but OK. Not far from the Centre Ville station which was handy.

Very quirky - two interconnecting rooms for the price of one! Very simple and basically furbished, beautiful large bathroom and separate loo.
We had the garden room (more like a small apartment minus kitchen!) so were woken by the dawn chorus! Considering we were five minutes' walk from the centre of Dijon, this was amazing - so quiet! Would recommend.
