Really nice drop off - nice decor, lovely staff, good breakfast - near a motorway but very quiet and secure- nice play area for the kids. And met the Australian Paralympic team (swimming)

What a really wonderful hotel to stay! Great atmosphere , restaurant, pool. If you are travelling with children, it is perfect. Very good acces for wheelchairs ! Fantastic for your dogs, large or small

The rooms are large in size with a walking in shower. Space for your computer to work with free WiFi. This is our first time here and won't be the last

clean hotel. nice staff. the cleaning staff cared a lot about the rooms. it was obvious by the way the room felt so clean everyday.

We ate in La Cours Brasserie and enjoyed an excellent meal with very good and friendly service. Breakfast was extra but gave us a fantastic choice it was hard to choose. We highly recommend Le Grand Monarque Hotel

Brilliant hotel The rooms are beautiful and the staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also in a great location to explore Chartres Parking not an issue given the hotel’s secure compound

My husband and I visited accompanied by our puppy. We were very happy with our stay. The car park is secure and only a short distance from the hotel. The room was very large and comfortable

We did an overnight in this hotel and would definitely return. The room was a good size ( a comfort double ) with good bathroom and a kettle etc. The decor throughout the hotel is super

The decor was lovely and our puppy was spoilt with a plush bed too. We dined in both restaurants and Luna was allowed in both. The food was sublime and service was impeccable

We stayed here for 3 nights because our car broke down. They provided us with excellent service. Sir Philippe, the head of front desk, was very helpful and accommodating. He even drove my husband to a nearby supermarket

If you are on a long journey and need a night over before the next leg of your trip- this is perfect hotel. Great beds especially after driving long hours, and super powerful shower! Nice staff at the reception desk.

Multiple road works, 30km speed limit and appallingly poor town planning made it very difficult to find our way to a car park near the city centre. Not a good experience, after a long drive from Calais

We’ve visited the Kyriad many times on our way through France and always find the rooms to be clean and comfortable, but our air conditioning unit did not seem to work, so we were too hot during the night

The hotel was extremely clean, very cosy and thankfully well-heated! The room was small but that was to be expected as we took the smallest and cheapest room. For one night it didn't matter

Enjoyed our overnight stop at this hotel It has secured parking and a fantastic restaurant. Room was spacious and well equipped with a view of the cathedral.

It would have been helpful if the do not disturb sign was on the door knob instead of the desk. I could not find it and enthusiastic housekeepers just opened the door a couple times

There were coffee/tea making facilities and bottled water in the fridge in a living area separate from the bedroom. The B&B is only 15 minutes from the centre of Chartres and we had a splendid meal at Le Café Bleu

We stopped over for just one night while traveling but wanted to have a wander around the old town of Chartres. The location is ideal and a short walk into town. The accomodation is spacious and very clean

When we tried to book a table on the night the booking site said they were full so we rang the café direct and were found a place. An added bonus was the Son et Lumiere that we caught at the cathedral

As a couple, we stayed 3 weeks in this very quiet place, although inside the city. The landlady is very friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The bedding is very comfortable

We stayed in Suite Arthur on our last night of a 10 day trip around France and it was an excellent choice. Madam was charming and helpful and the rooms were spotless

The only thing that could have been better was if she had put a winning lottery ticket under my pillow. Stop looking and just book here. Note: good parking is at Parking Q-Park Chartres Coeur de Ville (5 min walk)

Carole is charming, speaks good English. She went out of her way to make us comfortable- went with me to park the car, called around, several times, for restaurant reservations. Very nice room, excellent bed

Book here if you're looking to stay in the center of Chartres. Carole is extremely welcoming and really provides a great breakfast. The 2 rooms we booked were excellent and had a lot of character

Carole is an absolute delight! Joyous and very accommodating. The Inn is beautifully appointments with creative expression around every corner and is totally updated

So wonderful to have a modern shower! You will not be disappointed with this inn and in addition it's location to the center of town!

Chartres The room was comfortable, clean well ventilated. Disappointed that there was no lift and we had to struggle up two flights of stairs. Enjoyed the view across the airfield. Staff friendly and helpful.

Recommend A lift would have been good but the Receptionist said next time we book request ground floor. Also we can reserve a room with a walk in shower

The Receptionist was very helpful and spoke good english Lovely restaurant but we arrived too late to eat
