Mercure Arles Centre Arenes, Arles1 / 18
9.3
Arles, 1 Rue Emile Fassin (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's very nice, located in a small town. It's great value for money, the bed is very soft, and there doesn't seem to be much to do in the town itself. Most people drive here to stay.
The front desk staff were very friendly and nice.
We booked 2 nights at the Hotel Le Relais de Poste, and left after the first terrible night. See our 1 star review. We decided to stay at Mercure, about a 2 minute walk from the other hotel, because we would be carrying our luggage. The experience was night and day. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well equipped. They had on site parking, a rarity in Arles. And the...
We were fortunate to arrive at this hotel in mid-October 2025, not long after it had (as far as I understand) been renovated. It was an easy 20-minute or so stroll from the train/bus station. In fact, because our train arrived not long after mid-day, we stopped for lunch in one of the restaurants in the town centre, which nicely divided our stroll into two halves. The hotel was clean, newly-carpeted...
The room was clean, but I went down to the front desk twice to ask for slippers, but there was no one there. There was no phone at the room, and it seemed the hotel staff had left work. Even though I hadn't checked out yet, housekeeping came in through the door in the morning. It was clean, but the service was very poor. However, the rooftop view was worth it, as it offered a view of the stars at night...
Dated room decor 1970s style. No hot water only lukewarm water. Staff were polite and helpful.

Jules César Hotel & Spa Arles - MGallery Collection, Arles1 / 30

Arles, 9 Boulevard Des Lices (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Hôtel & Spa Jules César is the best of the best in Arles. It's iconic, sophisticated and very comfortable! It blends the calm of a former monastery with Christian Lacroix’s bold, colourful style, mixing history with modern comfort in a way that feels effortless. Art and design sit naturally alongside warmth and relaxation, and everywhere you go, you feel the spirit of Arles. From the historic buildings...
My wife and I were on holiday and traveling with a friend who was solo. Our friend was given an upgraded room and we were shown to a handicap accessible room without being asked if this was. I am 188cm tall. My wife is tall for a woman. Everything in the room was too low. The makeup mirror was at navel level for my wife (as an example). The shower had no door so water went everywhere. Overall, we were...
This is a quaint and stylish hotel. It's well worth staying at. It's also close to the city center.
Hotel is very nice, interesting design changing between rooms, very good restaurant, and very friendly staff. Swimming pool is very nice, especially when not too busy ! Rooms are very comfortable, however, few details could be updated to keep to the new standards. Hotel is very close to the old city center, few steps to reach by foot.
The hotel was great overall, good location, spacious. However, it is quite old, and there was one night where the whole hotel stopped water supply from 10pm onwards. It was a bit inconvenient.
Enjoyable stay in a great location. All staff were very helpful. Room was on the small side. The most annoying thing about this hotel is they provideed a mini fridge with 1 still water, 1 sparkling, and a couple of juices. This was never refilled which was disappointing. In every other hotel we stayed in France still drinking water was replenished every day.

Arles, Avenue de la Première, Division Française Libre (in the centre) 🧭 Map
IBIS, always my go to Motel chain. Great rooms, clean and great showers. The bistro is really good for meals and breakfast. A little way from the main centre but it is walkable or a quick Uber ride.
Even with the doors and windows closed, there were still many mosquitoes in the room, affecting my sleep. The location was a bit far from the old town.
Hôtel was a bit dreary and run-down and not in a location convenient to the city center.
The room was rather old. The service was decent.
good value good value hotel, the area it’s in is mixed but probably safer than it feels. good staff
Good stay, breakfast on average, value for money. I like Ibis budget in general, of course you need to know the type of hotels are, basic and usually not centrally located.

Logis Hôtel Le Rodin, Arles1 / 25

Arles, 20 Rue Auguste Rodin (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We (my mother, wife and myself) stayed at Le Rodin for 4 nights. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood north of the old town. My mother's room was on the ground floor and was large with a large bathroom. Our room was on the top floor of the back section. The staff were great in accomodating us as I did not want to stay on the ground floor. They moved us, on our request, to the top floor...
We stayed here one night in early April 2025 before we embarked on a Uniworld River Cruise. We requested and received a room on the first floor with a walk-out to the pool. The front desk staff was excellent, as was our room. They even helped us get reservations and a taxi to a wonderful restaurant in town to celebrate a friend's birthday. We would stay here again.
Given some of the reviews here we were not expecting much...and we got a treat of a room and a stay! The room was very clean and neat, well-presented and supplied. Ground floor, it faced onto a small courtyard with a pool (we didn't use it as it was October but some children did and appeared to love it). Front desk service was excellent and helpful, guiding us immediately to spots in Arles to see...
Such a beautiful room, pristine clean, high quality bathroom products, room with a nice view on the backyard, great pool and comfy chairs by the pool. Very quiet location, at 20 minutes walk from the train station. The breakfast (not included) was soooo worth it. Delicious, generous diversity of options, good quality, definitely worth the price. We recommend this Hotel, te staff was friendly. We will...
The hotel is on the outskirts of Arles which is not unusual for a Logis de France Hotel. What is unusual is that access is through automated locked gates which upon arrival is rather unappealing. Rooms are motel like, facing onto the car park. We had booked a double room for an overnight stopover but found we had been given two twin beds pushed together with separate single bedding on each. The room...
VERY NICE OLD HOTEL, WELL MAINTAIN, EASY PARKING, AND PARKING IS PROTECTED BY A GATE WITH DIGITS. HOPE TO BE THERE SOON AGAIN

Very comfortable Hotel made upgrade the room Interior is very interesting
I liked the location, outside of Arles but not too far. It had a tennis court, bikes and pool...my favorite hobbies! The gardens are just wonderful- make sure you explore. The rooms are all individually furnished.
The property is paradise. I especially liked the way it was lit up at night. I like to walk at night. The pool was an absolute lifesaver. It was very hot while we were there. The staff went above and beyond consistently.
This place is at a tipping point, sitting down on its past glory. They need to put the price down or start refurbishing it especially the bathrooms. Please give love to the wonderful garden. Nota Bene: if you come, bring anti-mostiquo products!!
Very very beautiful and unique
It was rather like staying in a once grand Irish country house. It’s not 4-star anymore but eccentric and romantic, full of a decorator’s stock. The reduced staff is nice and helpful and the birds sing in the garden

Staff very friendly and helpful, good location, comfortable room. Convenient eatery with great breakfast.
Clean and pretty room with bathtub. Very friendly front. But their WiFi is not good. I didn’t try breakfast.
The room was very comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and friendly! The location in town is also fantastic, and close to the train station. The only nitpick is that rooms near the stairway can be a bit noisy in the evenings, but otherwise everything was great!
Parking is extra and a little challenging but the Price to pay to stay close to all the sites. Enjoyed our stay so booked a second night
Very small rooms, VERY small bathrooms, good blackout blinds, fine airconditioning. No elevator. Too expensive restaurant.
The room was lovely. The fabric colors were calm and lovely. There was a bathtub which was very comfortable.

Lovely staff, hotel, and city. Shame we were only staying one night, but we’ll definitely be back!
Very friendly, breakfast is good, room is good, location is good.  No lift so may be a problem for senior people.
Buffet selections were varied at the buffet. The instruction posted for cooking boiled egg to your liking weren’t adequate as far as cook time.
The staff was so kind and helpful the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Great location near to everything and amazing views of the coliseum!
The people who run this place are incredible and go above & beyond to ensure their guests are taken care of. The rooms are incredible.. huge, comfortable beds and very clean. They have a lovely garden and secure bike storage. The hotel is also right on the viarhona cycle path. The breakfast here was so declicious - yogurt, fresh fruits, cheese and lots of baked goods. It is also right next to the colosseum...
I was blown away by this hotel! My room was a great size with lovely decor, and the little private terrace with its own table and chairs was such a nice surprise. I slept really well thanks to the comfortable bed, lack of noise, and shutters keeping out the light. The best thing about the hotel is that it offers so much more than just the room. The spa was so peaceful and incredibly special with its...

I stumbled upon this gem after having no place to stay due to a double booking on VRBO, and I couldn’t have been happier! From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. The owner takes pride in his place, and it shows. He does his rounds at breakfast and checks in with his patrons to ensure they are enjoying their stay. My room was clean, tastefully decorated...
Grounds were lovely with pool and free-roaming chickens. Lots of relaxing seating options near the pool. Plenty of choices available for breakfast and a lovely setting with indoor/options to enjoy the meal. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Our room was a bit tight for three adults, but we were fortunate to get the last room available! Would recommend this hotel for families and those looking for...
I didn't stay here, but i cannot wait to stay... i was saved by the owner, when my bike broke and I was walking for a long time! Frederick is a legend of a man, and has a heart of gold. No doubt his hotel is outstanding!
All of the staff treat you with the utmost of care.
Quiet and well maintained property. Very helpful front desk. The breakfast was an additional cost but was well worth it. The eggs were very fresh since they were laid by chickens that roamed the courtyard. The room was small but had a door opening to an outdoor patio. I would highly recommend this property.

Unique property. Our room was very small and on the second floor up narrow stairs. Staff were somewhat friendly but did not offer any assistance with suitcases. Hand soap container in bathroom was empty. There was a heat pump unit in the room but even though we attempted to turn it on to provide some heat, it did not work so we were cold during the night.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is excellent, the whirlpool tub was a nice surprise. Breakfast was hands down the best we had on our trip.
Our room was on the third floor. No elevator so plan on traveling lightly. Not a problem for us but request a lower room if you have mobility issues. The staff was helpful with advoce on what to do in Arles. Breakfast was worth the cost and not to be missed.
Clean and charming The room was terrific although the airconditioning was a bit noisy. Note that there is no elevator nor is there a guest self laundry in this hotel. It is a charming building built in the 1600s with nicely renovated bathrooms and comfortable beds. We didn’t try the breakfast and the coffee was a push button type so also didn’t try. As it is located down a dark, and not well travelled...
Charming old building near the Amphitheatre (as you'd expect). Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room on ground floor. Only problem was lack of storage: a short hanging rail but no drawers or cupboards, which would have been awkward if we'd been staying for longer than two nights. Good breakfast with particularly good coffee.
Very pleasant stay! The room was clean and quiet, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great value! I was concerned about what to expect for the very affordable rate but I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s nothing fancy but it was exactly what I needed.
Little room quite acceptable The lady attendant was very kind and helpful. The room quite comfortable with no special details,No coffee nor toiltetries. Bus stop was 4 blocks away. Breakfast was very poor. I recommend not to book the room with b, fast included
The room was fine for what I paid for it. The three major dings were the mattress - without a doubt the lumpiest hotel mattress I've ever slept on; the showerhead was so high that when it was turned on all that got wet was the top of my head; and the only bus line that ran near the hotel only came by once per hour. But if you have a car, aren't too picky about your showers as long as there's good...
The room was okay. We booked a two-night stay at this hotel through Ctrip, including breakfast. Arriving at the hotel a little after 9:10 PM, the front desk clerk warmly checked us in, but didn't explain breakfast. Generally, if breakfast is included, the front desk clerk will inform you of the time and location. If it's not included, they'll ask if you want to order it. However, since we arrived late...

Even though there’s a pretty busy street right next to the hotel, it’s not loud in any way. Air Conditioning is a bit confusing at first. Food is really good here.
We loved this hotel. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The front desk staff was very helpful. There was a bus stop a short walk away and the buses were easy to navigate.
We arrived with no reservation and we got the last room. We didn’t know that the city was full packed of people due to the Feria (Corridas) at the Arena and the most important photographic exhibition in Europe. Lisa welcomed us with a great smile and such a professional attitude. She gave us all information we might need to know. The place is very well located, even if you don’t have a car, it is only...
Great spacious rooms, pleasant service, can check in late (we were driving from Spain and arrived close to midnight but received instructions on how to get into the room). The breakfast is very filling and delicious.
Good hotel to stay when visiting Arles by car. It offers free parking on their terrain. Arles is at walking distance, but you can also take your car to the center.
The hotel is well located not too far from city centre at about a 20 minutes walk. The included parking spot is a big plus. Beds are comfortable and the noise of the highway didn't disturb us from sleeping. The breakfast is nice and plentiful and the hosts are discreet. They just took up the hotel and are preparing to renovate the bathrooms which are functional but need a refreshments. The common rooms...

The hotel is well situated to Arles, yet quiet and quaint. The pool and sitting area offered comfortable opportunity for outside relaxation. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is pleasant, well attended, with a superb chef, offering excellent 3 course dinners. Our stay was most enjoyable and we recommend it for those who are tired of crowded downtown or chain hotels.
We were staying at the nearby campsite, L'Arlesienne and wanted a beer but everywhere in the area was closed. So we popped our heads around the door and asked if we could have a drink and sit on the terrace. I think they were shutting up shop for the evening, but they were really kind and obliging. And we sat for 20 minutes enjoying a cold beer. Thank you for your hospitality to two thirsty English...
I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The pool is clean and the rooms are insect free and air conditioned. All in all I’ve had a really good experience.

The hotel is close to the train station. The manager is nice and friendly and even check us in earlier. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is fresh and has many selections.
We stayed at this hotel one night before our river cruise, it did not have an elevator but the staff were very kind and assisted us to carry our luggage up the three flights of stairs. We had an amazing view of the river with a sunset that took my breath away. We had windows on the bathroom and bedroom area that gave us a full experience including a flock of birds that camped out on a tree near by...
This hotel was very refreshing after a terrible stay in Marseille. The room was clean and reasonably sized and the bathroom looked newly remodeled. Madame at the desk was very friendly. We booked this because we were boarding a river cruise the next day and the hotel was right next to the quai- very convenient for moving our luggage. Arles is a delightful town and the Old Town area is right next to...
Great value & location, without lift. The Regence is an older hotel just inside the walls of old Arles near the quay. The location is excellent, we could walk everywhere. The hotel is renovated inside, however there is no lift. Our room was spacious and the large double bed comfortable. The window opened easily for fresh air and there was no need for the aircon. Our hosts were welcoming and very...
Very good location, in the middle of everything and right next to the river.

It’s as budget as you can get..for a place just to sleep, it’s fine with exception of the smell in the bathroom. You get what you pay for
It is what it is as budget, but door to bathroom was broken and was told nothing to do about it, bathtub will flow the room at a longer shower, so could step up a bit.
It's a bit far to walk to the city, but there are supermarkets and fast food around.
I was very grateful for the kind assistance I received when I had an irregular problem. It's a bit far from the station, so walking is a bit difficult.
We stop by on the way to Camargue natinal park .It was good location at mid night. We only stay 8 hours to sleep. It was very affordable price to sleep 3 people. I have no complain. But toilet smelled a lots.
The room was too stuffy, and there were mosquitoes when the windows were opened, which was not good. Everything else is great
