Where to stay in Travemunde

Very nice hotel with large rooms with balcony located on the promenade in the heart of Travemünde. Excellent breakfast

The first hotel I see with liar and deceiving management. We mistakenly booked 3 rooms instead of 2. Just 30 minutes later we called the hotel to cancel one room. They said ok and you can ask the reception while checking in. Then reception said we need to ask our boss, every time we asked the reception they said our boss come later. Top location, great view. The furnishings are a bit dated, especially noticeable in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

Very nice hotel, we had a great room. The hotel bar is fantastic and has a great live-pianist who plays beautifully.

A little bit outdated or nostalgic if you like, but rooms are clean and spacious, beds are wide and comfortable. Lot to choose from at the breakfast. Staff is fiendly and bicycles can be stored inside. Great location. Anyways I can not recommend for families with small children due to very low value for money. The rooms would easily fit a family with two small children, but we were forced to book...

Travemunde is a beautiful place. Hotel expensive for the size of the room and expensive parking. Good breakfast but expensive.

Absolutely delighted with the stay. The hotel was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the pool and spa area a great asset.

Rooms too simple for the price we paid. Spa area is big but not too inviting.

The location of the hotel is great, beach, port, everything is close, rooms are clean. Only the toilet in the room could not be installed. Parking fee for HOCH TAG 15,00 euros. Friendly staff, especially Mrs. Christine Busse at the reception, very helpful.

Great little Saturday escape - the hotel is perfect for families and the amenities are great. The breakfast is special but what was the highlight was the service. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Great spa area great view of the ocean and easy walk to all lots of restaurants. Pool was noce inside and out sauna area was nice would be nice if they had a slightly deeper hot tub or a warm pool by the sauna area

A great location minutes to the beach from you room. Spa is great the hot tub is the only thing I can say was not great as it was very shallow. The relaxation pool was a way better option breakfast buffet is great with a huge selection best to arrive earlier as it gets busy

This was our second visit, we had a voucher to redeem, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The wellness area was great, the food was not bad, and staff were friendly throughout. However, checkout felt a bit impersonal — the receptionist didn’t ask about our experience and went straight to the invoice. For the room price, we expected a more thoughtful farewell.

The hotel is really beautiful, rooms, spa area. We spent there really nice time. Breakfast was really good with a wide range of choices, also healthy bio options. I hope we will visit this place again.

Another fantastic weekend at the A-rosa FANTASTIC. However at bit wird when reception staff asks if we are on the right floor (penthouse)…. 🤔 …. We assume it was due to our travelling clothes however still a word feeling beeing welcomed like that… Celebration of women’s day started with a glass of champagne 🍾 for the women.. 🙏

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were extremely friendly! Everything was close by; only a few steps to the promenade. We had a great vacation time and will be back.

Excellent breakfast. Very quiet Hotel. Thank you for the wonderful weekend. We will come back another week-end for a stay near the baltic sea. If you want tot stay in a classic grand hotel, the Atlantic is your choice.

I stayed at the Atlantic Grande having arrived on the evening ferry and not wishing to drive on in the dark. This is an attractive old-style hotel with wide wooden staircase, high ceilings and grand seafront view. As you climb the stairs squeak in a low tone. We walked to our room through a sinuous corridor. It was quiet, beautifully furnished and the bathroom spacious. The swimming pool was empty, music was playing, water splashing against the walls. This is one of the most polite and nicest hotel with very welcome and friendly stuff! We was warm welcomed here with our pets, both Dog and Cat! No one other hotel where happy to see us, but Hotel Deitscher Kaiser was! 5 of 5 stars for everything! Thank you for your warm welcome us!

Pleasant hotel in a great location My mother and I stayed at this hotel when visiting the area for my uncles funeral. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and allocated us the most comfortable room with the best view of the promenade and the boats passing. Great little hotel at the harbour promenade of Travelünde. The location is outstanding and only 7 mins from the beach - however you won’t feel the walk as you’re just passing by the sea and all the lovely restaurants and shops. The hotel was nice. Right on the promenade. It rained while we were there but there was a sun room for breakfast which was lovely. The breakfast was good. Rooms very clean and spacious. Right on to the promenade in Travemünde, the windows of this restaurant face the beach and sea. The staff here is very nice and helpful. Enjoyed coffee and cake at this place.

Great hosts, a lovely hotel, and a street parallel to the beach promenade—what more could you want? We had an unrenovated room at the back, but it was spotlessly clean, so no problem at all. I arrived a bit late and the Management had to make sure I got to the hotel safely and timely. The room size, cleanliness and friendliness of the everyone was awesome. It also sits almost at the Baltic sea which is the cherry topping😁. TLDR; I would recommend 100%

The hotel is an accommodation in Travemünde with a short walk to the beach. The double room was okay, but the single room was very, very small. Compared to other hotels that I know very expensive for little comfort. Breakfast is served on plates, but you can reorder if you want.

Beautiful hotel in the nice cozy place, very friendly owner, perfect conditions for family with kids! There are nice garden and guest room with play corner for children . And one more bonus- the breakfast is delicious ☕️

This hotel is a real gem. We have never been so well received. Room is superbly decorated and full of little treats, fantastic common area and the breakfast - simply first class! Highly recommended
