Hotels in Timmendorfer Strand

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, even though the furniture is quite dated. And having to peel and slice my own green cucumber at the breakfast buffet was rather amusing. Friendly staff, very good service, breakfast was okay.

Great hotel with the most friendly staff!

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. Terrible experience. If the CEO would only know how bad the service is!…

2 nights for Lübeck Xmas market, very good overall. The personal was absolute top class in service and friendliness. Too low capacity in elevators makes it troublesome during high demand

Familiensuite Zimmer💗😍 A huge thanks to @maritimseehotel. Thank you for the friendly and generous welcome we had! It was a great start to a lovely stay with kindness and warm hospitality throughout, and omg the food and the cocktails. It was an amazing experience especially my children to stay with you. You made us feel right at home. Bye for now. Until next time💗😍💕🥰

It was a nice room with nice view, I enjoyed it to the most

The hotel is showing its age; the rooms are very spacious, but cleanliness isn't great. The mirrors in the room and bathroom are mediocre, and the shower is very limescaled. As for the amenities, everything is excellent. The swimming pool is a good size, but the sauna is very small for the size of the hotel. Cleanliness in the sauna could be improved. Breakfast is quite alright.

Always a pleasure, it invites you to relax and unwind, or to do lots of sports, great breakfast including sparkling wine, and perfect service.

Had a really nice stay here and perfect for families with great facilities. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Only drama are the lifts and check out is a mess. But we will learn for next time.

Luxurios hotel with exellent service and facilliti A beautiful and luxurious hotel that truly lives up to expectations. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are stunning and well-maintained. The hotel offers a varied and modern selection of fitness and activity options, perfect for both relaxation and a more active stay. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection and high quality. On top of that...

A nice hotel and a wonderful breakfast A nice hotel with pool and sauna among many nice things to do. Wonderful breakfast. Complicated check-in procedure if you have a car.

Overall great hotel for a fun getaway The hotel was incredible amenities and staff are very nice, rooms are spacious, breakfast has great variety. Temperature control in room is lacking, only heating available, would be too warm in summer and no screens on windows to leave them open in the evening.

Excellent location, right on the beach. Yet plenty of other restaurants and shops in walking distance. Lovely, bright, spacious rooms with great views. The lobby has cosy seating for afternoon tea. Breakfast was a real highlight; served in a restaurant with massive windows, a big patio and great selection of food. We sat and chatted for hours! There is an indoor pool, plenty loungers, sauna and treatment...

Excellent service, pool, fitness area, room with balcony and spectacular view over the bay. Breakfast was superb. In a hotel with three or more stars, I would expect tea and coffee making facilities as standard equipment. A coffee machine was provided only on request.

Great view! Super Breakfast, nice pools!

Fantastic location and service. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the spa & pool area is very nice

A nice coffee and cake! I enjoyed my time in timmendorfer strand

I have stayed here on 3 different occasions and it remains one of my favorite hotels. The breakfast alone is worth the trip, but the rooms are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. I've stayed in many hotels where they claim to be 5 star but they were lacking in many areas. That's just not the case here and I'm a little surprised at the harsh comments from other people.

Receptionist made me wait for a very long time before I could check-in. His female colleague did her best to run both the bar, buffett and check-in counter. He wasn't very helpful as well, nor was he able to put the right contact details on the invoice (all of which was taken care of by his colleague on the next morning). Apart from that: rooms are nice and comfortable, breakfast was varied, plenty...

Great Stay! Prisvärt med bästa läge i Timmendorfer Strand.

Close to the beach. Great place to stay when you’re in Timmendorfer Strand. Sometimes a bit pricey though.

This hotel is not exclusiv at all, not worth the money just because its near the beach and ocean. And one lady that welcomes guest to the breakfast was starring as if she had never seen other people than Germans visit this place. Very weird! I would not recomend

Great location in Timmendorfer Strand I think english can be useful when you’re working at the front desk?

Great location in Timmendorfer Strand. Not so comfy beds😐.

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

We had a wonderful time at SAND in Timmendorfer Strand. It is a stylish and cozy hotel very close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks super delicious and the rooms nice and clean. We will definitely return to this place!

Beautiful, calm spot. Perfect for a weekend getaway with a group of girls

The property is just a short 5-10 min walk from the main tourist areas which offers such a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by lots green and open space. The front entrance is dedicated to a well designed and comfortable area for relaxing with a nice cocktail, cool breezes, and attentive service.

very small room. I had a job to get into the room with my suitcase. Service (apart from reception on arrival) is very nice and friendly. Lovely design and decor. Parking needs to be pre-booked, which is not an issue, if you know it.

The hotel is very nice. It is situated close to the beach (less than 5 min walk) and also close to the center with shops, bars and restaurants. We really liked the location. The room interior looked just like the images. Everything was clean. Their shampoo and similar products were also pretty good and natural. Staff was helpful and friendly, and spoke english. I also liked the breakfast, we were offered...

Friendly staff, nice rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. All in a relaxed setting; - I like Beach front hotels 😊 The pool and sauna area are nice

We have travelled with our 5 weeks old baby and the hotel staffs were incredibly nice! We have loved our stay and enjoyed the hospitality and total experience of this place! The food was amazing ❤️ and the location is awesome!

Really great place and lokation with fine restaurants close by Staff fantastic, service great, breakfast great etc Wifi slow and parking not good because og small spots. We will be back.

We were completely satisfied: a beautiful room, friendly, attentive staff, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. We'd be happy to come back.

Combine relaxation with City Sightseeing Great hotel with a great location. Near the ocean and only 25 min. away from Lübeck Altstadt. The perfect combination of a city holiday with relaxation. The spa was sadly closed due to environmental concerns. The pool was a bit too cold to relax in, it was more of an exercise pool. Two saunas, one with and one without bathing suits on. Great restaurant onsite...

gute service und gute position

Rent, fint rum, trevlig omgivning

Everything as expected actually exceeding expectations

Rummet rent o i gott skick. Var väldigt litet, fick inte plats med typ resväskor eller hänga kläder någonstans. Hade även 2 mellanstora hundar med oss. Så det blev väldigt trångt. Betalade mycket för hundarna, men de hade bara satt fram en hundskål!

Great breakfast buffet, lots of assortments. Nice large rooms with comfortable beds. Rooms in an annex 300 m from main building. Parking was almost full, quite sandy and partly muddy.

Good hotel in nice surroundings Nice area by the golfcource. Large and good room. Breakfast very good. Nice terrace to have a glas of wine in the evening. Irritating having to order by your mobile or a screen. The bar didn't recommend any wine and asked us to look digitally. Maybe modern times. To sum it up, a nice place to stay.

2x 18 hole golf course and close location to the city and other activities

Great hotel The staff was really welcoming and even gave us a tour of the facilities. In the basement there is a kids room and also a bar with free dart and pool which we enjoyed very much in the evening. The rooms where nice and had everything we needed. The location was also very nice, close to the ocean and to some alright restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic, not overwhelming offers (which is a...

We stayed in this hotel as a couple and felt completely comfortable. The staff was very friendly in all areas. We liked the opportunity to sit on the ground floor in the evening with a glass of wine, etc. We had a small balcony and from there we could even see a little bit of the Baltic Sea, which was about a 3-minute walk away. Breakfast was great, the room was small but nice, we didn't have enough...

Best place in Germany to visit!! Really Enjoyable Moment😍

Although the hotel is in a renovation phase, everything is still very nice and cozy. The rooms are not ready yet, but the breakfast rooms are beautiful and there is a super delicious breakfast with a very nice team that is always friendly and courteous. We are glad that we were able to vacation there again, like every year. Many thanks at this point to the first-class team!

The location was not so good, but the rooms service and all these things waa perfect and the Frühstück was very delicous.

This gem is a really calm and perfect place to stay in. So CLEAN and great a SPA. The restaurant serves delicious food and with great personal service. Beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are very light. Kira Malden Hemen even sorted out a mistake done by me through ***********. I advise to book directly with the hotel. I am definitely coming back.

Wonderful hotel - we loved our stay! We had half board and enjoyed delicious breakfast and dinner. Food quality was outstanding with meat / fish / vegetarian options available for dinner. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is wellness area with swimming pool and sauna. Hotel is well connected by bus to train station and city center.

Excellent customer service. Great location and an incredibly lovely apartment. The breakfast was perfect. Everything was spot on. Next time, we’ll try the spa as well. Thank you for everything!

This has become our favorite hotel over all. I think it is the 7th time me and my wife spend time at this wonderful hotel with excellent service, delicious meals and wonderful baths. Again our stay was perfect and we enjoyed are very much. We will most certainly return again.

We had a fabulous stay at the Fuchsbau Romantik hotel, right from when we arrived and were greeted by very welcoming and smiley staff. Our room was a good size, spotless clean and with nice decor. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant which has an excellent range of dishes and wines. Service was great and our waitress, Mia, was a delight, very attentive, friendly and efficient. The whole feel...

Large chic hotel. Very nicely decorated rooms, beautiful garden, pool and sauna. Good restaurant and extensive breakfast. However, far too few parking spaces.

The food at the restaurant was superb

Dejligt centralt sted at være, med en stor grad af personlig service.

Cute, charming old house, made into a hotel. Very comfortable bed, large room and lots of space in the bathroom. Walkable to the main area of Timmendorfer Strand. We enjoyed our stay there!

Lovely hotel with extremely friendly staff. We were upgraded on arrival & allowed to check in early. No problem to arrange a taxi for the day we left back to the train station. Couldn’t ask for a better location right in the centre of the main street and a few steps to the beach! Mostly older guests and no kids even during Herbst vacation time, so very calm & quiet - in case thats what you...

The hotel is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I arrived and immediately felt at home. The breakfast is a dream, and you get everything your heart desires, and the in-house restaurant is a dream and delicious. I would give even more stars if I could 😊 we will definitely be back

Big thanks to the Holsteiner Hof, we were there from May 11th. - 15.05.2021 on Timmendorfer Strand and of course delicious food. On May 14th, 21st we forgot to reserve, but the Holsteiner Hof gave us a table despite being booked out and we could still eat delicious. It tasted very good, the service was very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back. The ambience in the Holsteiner Hof is very...

This hotel, with its staff and owner, is simply unbeatable. The hotel, including the room and breakfast, is 100% recommendable. The room is exactly as you would expect from the outside. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is fresh, and even special requests are handled quickly and easily. All the staff, including the owner, are incredibly friendly. The hotel is very clean and in...

We stayed at Villa Röhl for four nights and everything was wonderful. Our dog was more than welcome, and my request for a thinner duvet was immediately fulfilled. The entire team is lovely and very attentive. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This hotel is highly recommended. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The honeymoon suite is spacious, practical, and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. If there's anything to criticize, it's the parking situation. Unfortunately, there isn't a parking space for every room. But the owner sorted that out, too. We are happy to recommend this...

We've been coming to this hotel for several years now. It's truly wonderful for us. We can completely unwind here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. We can have scrambled or fried eggs freshly prepared upon request. In the evenings, we sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy an Aperol or a beer. For us, the hotel is a place to relax. The location is also...

Very nice location, in the restaurant upstairs there is a TV on which sports can be streamed if desired and there is a large selection of drinks. But the selection of food is not huge but it is very tasty. The service and staff are very friendly and willing to chat.

We had a really nice stay at Villa Röhl. We spontaneously booked with a dog and were not disappointed. Beautiful, historic house with charm. Very, very nice and attentive staff! I have rarely experienced something so nice. Beds very comfortable, even with down comforter and pillows. It was very quiet at night and we slept well. Eating breakfast on the terrace is great - the dog is allowed there and...

The hotel is located just across the small main street separating it from the beach. It is a 3 minute walk to the typical Strandkoerbe (semi-closed beach loungers) on the beach and the pier with a restaurant at its end. The beach is gorgeous, pristine and extending for many kilometers on either side. The hotel has parking and nice, fairly large rooms, some with balconies. The restaurant has tasty...

A cozy hotel near the beach. Very good breakfast. Parking for the car worked well.

Dear Lehmann family and team, we felt very, very comfortable in your hotel. We had a wonderful, pleasant weekend; we lacked nothing. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast buffet in the quaint, cozy Bartman's Kitchen. It was our first visit based on a recommendation and definitely won't be the last. All the best and kind regards from the Rieckhoff family.

Very nice little hotel with a great location. Not far from the beach and the city center. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Many thanks again to the manager for allowing me to check in early. We'll be back.

I really can't find anything to complain about at this hotel. Everything was completely to our satisfaction. Friendly staff, great breakfast, and the rooms were also excellent.

A very nice, small, centrally located hotel. Helpful and friendly reception. The location is very central to the town center and just a few meters from the beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet in the adjoining restaurant leaves nothing to be desired. Thank you for the lovely stay.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for a weekend. It was a friendly welcome, all the staff were very friendly and beamed with the sun and the bet. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable, even with an extra TV room. The view was beautiful towards the water. Everything was quick and easy to reach from here. The breakfast was delicious and had a great selection. If something was empty, it was immediately...

Very nice little hotel, greeted by name upon arrival. Special requests were met to our complete satisfaction. Rooms well maintained and clean. Breakfast a smooth 10/10. Parking directly behind the house. Center can be reached in 5 minutes, everything can be reached on foot in 2 minutes. to the Baltic Sea. Will book the hotel again directly. Everyone in the house (hotel owner and staff 10/10) more than...

Great place. Great hotel. The building is right on the beach. In the middle of the harbor. We've been twice already, and we'll be there for the third time. There's a small restaurant in the same building. A truly great place for a vacation.

We were completely satisfied with our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel room! The room was not only spotlessly clean, but also very tastefully and modernly furnished. We immediately felt at home. The highlight, of course, was the fantastic view of the sea! Waking up in the morning to the sound of the waves and enjoying the sunrise directly from the balcony was unbeatable. We'll definitely...

A great hotel in a beautiful location! However, the shower is disastrous, the shower jet is so hard that it really hurts to shower. The mattresses are also very worn out. And the friendliness of the info mails, as well as the hotel owner really left a lot to be desired.

Very nice atmosphere, brisk and friendly service. There is something for everyone on the menu. Well-sized portions, nicely presented and extremely tasty. Price / performance is absolutely ok. Highly recommended!

Great location, door out and you are on the beach. The room is clean and nicely decorated. Everything worked great here with the key.

Great location to the beach, port and center. Very nice rooms and facilities. In-house restaurant directly on the promenade. Everything clean and modern. We felt very comfortable. Personal contact with the landlord would be recommended.

The best hotel experience ever - cozy and exquisite interior indeed. Best breakfast and sauna experience. The team is always helpful and super friendly.

Great hotel! I loved the atmosphere, the interior design, and the friendly staff.

The staff are excellent, the room was small but very clean. The breakfast was really tasty with a good spread of food options. The only criticism was the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room. I had to walk to the bar to pay for a small coffee for €4.20...ouch!!! They gave me a bottle of wine as I left which was a nice touch.

It is a great place which stands up to its price. Dinner at the restaurant has been better year ago. Today I would not recommend it as fine dining and it is too expensive for an ordinary dinner. Apart from that detail, all services are excellent and the place is definitely worth visiting.

Great hotel and breakfast, dinner food could benefit from more attention to detail.

In urgent need of a place to recharge my batteries, I intuitively chose The Cozy Hotel - and my intuition guided me to a wonderful haven of peace! I started to relax as soon as my taxi drove up to the entrance. The well groomed exterior and lovely terrace are a promise of what's to come: the lobby, bar and restaurant are furnished with unmistakable taste and attention to detail. My room was spacious...
