I was on a business trip, the experience was ok, the service was ok, the charger just fell off in the end, and it was delivered to the airport for free.

The front desk was warm and patient, but the water temperature in the room was very high in the middle of the night on the first day of check-in and could not be used. The problem was solved after helping to change rooms. The facilities are relatively old, and the breakfast is OK.

I am coming here regularly and would not consider looking for another place! Hotel Merlin is superior in any possible way! Friendly, flexible and helpful personnel/service, spotlessly clean rooms, breakfast buffet prepared with love, with fresh strawberry mousse on yoghurt to bacon and eggs, something for everyone. Wow! Booked this last minute to go to the pumpkin festival. Owner was very responsive, made accommodations for the dog and when we arrived, they had even placed an extra bed for our toddler! The breakfast spread was to die for, and we the staff made us feel so welcome despite the fact that we speak no German. Walking distance the train/bus station and many good eateries within walking distance

Wonderful quaint spot to stay, within easy walking distance of beer gardens and very good restaurants. English is not the owners' strong suit, but a mix of German and English worked fine.

I like the room's spacious and bright windows the most, and the bed is also very comfortable. The room is quite spacious, but the layout is not very reasonable. The bathroom door is a bit useless and not very convenient to enter and exit.

Clean, very attractive design. Easy to reach, even at night. Very large breakfast selection. Friendly reception. Plenty of parking directly at the hotel. Quiet. Small coffee stain on the saucer, but otherwise really clean.

Except for the remote location, there are no disadvantages

The hotel is clean and free breakfast is included, which is good. However, the location is relatively remote and there is nothing nearby. It is only suitable for people who drive. There is one charging station, but neither we nor the staff know how to use it.

Good stay for the night we needed after a canceled flight

Excellent location if flying into Stuttgart, 4 minutes on S-Bahn then a 4 minute walk to hotel. Only 30 minutes on the same S-Bahn line to city centre. Very clean and comfortable, staff were great. Highly recommended.

Wonderful staff - courteous and smiling. Poor internet wifi. Average rooms - Neat and clean. Breakfast - Needs improvement and variety. Couldn't recommend as value for money.

What a black and white experience. Staff is friendly and very helpful, breakfast is nice and some rooms are well worth staying. Other rooms have holes in the walls.

I really liked the hotel room. It got nice beds, enough space for the clothes and a nice looking bathroom. The breakfast had a great variety and the employees were really kind. Additionally the view from the breakfast was really beautiful as it was snowing while I was there. I really liked my stay in that hotel.

This was our first time staying at the hotel, and we found it easily accessible by public transport. A taxi ride to Stuttgart Airport cost less than €20. The hotel offered complimentary coffee! The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. The furnishings are a bit dated, but well-maintained. We didn't have breakfast as we checked out at 5:30 am. Basic hotel with a basic breakfast but didn't do anything wrong. You could have a nicer experience elsewhere but then you'll be paying a lot more.

Good option for solo travelers and short stays

We stayed few days with our 3 kids and were perfectly welcomed. The hotel team took great care of us, our rooms were spacious, comfortable with all the equipments. You won't find a second hotel in this price range that's so clean, so quiet, just great. Parking garage free of charge, also easily accessible with an SUV. Amazing service, we were a bit late than 10p.m. and still someone came and opened the door and we were able to sleep in our rooms, amazing, plus the breakfast was nice, definitely worth the price, could use a little fridge/freezer in rooms tho, other than that, service was even more than adequate, would recommend for a quick stay.

One of the greatest 3 star hotel I have ever been. Grate reception, rooms and brakfest. I really need to mention the shower it's a dream and the water pressure it's perfect. Bed's are middle softness but I noticed they keep the mattraces covered in plastic bags and it's a little uncomfortable. But for a 3 star it's perfect.

Nothing extraordinary there but also the price is not too demanding. Clean, with fine parking conditions and standard breakfast. Perfect to stop by for a night or two on your route.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff at reception. Small but very comfortable room, I had a very good sleep. Stayed here for just one night whilst attending a concert nearby. Very comfortable, nice staff, excellent shower and a small, but decent breakfast area. Convenient for airport and Filharmonie music venue.

The hotel is very well located. The motorway, trade fair and airport are all very easy to reach. I had a very nice single room with a small terrace. The air conditioning worked great. The breakfast buffet had everything you needed. There is even a hotel bar. Next door there is a supermarket and restaurants/beer garden that can be reached by car in a few minutes. The staff are incredibly friendly.....
